Chapter 39: Birds or Beasts
Brandon hung up without another word.
Brandon felt deceived for twenty years. The hatred in Brandon's heart surged. Thanks to a fake son's folly, he lost everything.
Continue supporting Connor? Brandon refused to do it anymore!
Brandon had no intention of giving any money to Connor!
He didn't want any contact with Connor either!
Once, Connor was Brandon's beloved only son. However, after a hospital examination, Brandon considered Connor the greatest shame of his life.

After standing in a daze for a full minute, Connor dialed Brandon's number again.
But Brandon's phone was unreachable; he had been blocked by Brandon.
Connor suddenly realized that he really might not be Brandon's biological son. Otherwise, Brandon wouldn't be so heartless.
As Connor was reeling, he received a text message from the bank. It informed him that his bank and credit cards had been frozen!
His car and house were gone!
His access to money was gone!
His biological father was gone, too!
In a moment of realization, Connor found himself left with nothing.
"No!" Connor fell to his knees in tears. "No!!!"
Connor cried out.
He screamed with all his might.
"Sir, what's wrong?" A passing female officer on patrol stopped.
In the past, if he had encountered a pretty policewoman, Connor would have tried to flirt with her.
But now, Connor's mind was in chaos.
"Nothing, leave me alone!!!" Connor said.
Meanwhile, in the presidential suite of the Hilton Hotel nearby, Skyview faced a difficult choice.
Everyone encountered tough choices in their lives.
Even certain companies and enterprises faced tough decisions.
As Shakespeare once said, to be or not to be, that is the question...
Now, the choice before Skyview was just as challenging.
To do or not to do? That was the question!
To have sex with his girlfriend and say farewell to his virginity, or to refrain and be a gentleman.
Yes, now, these were the two choices faced by Skyview.
On the bed in front of Skyview was a woman.
Willow!
Skyview didn't need to describe Willow's beauty; her exquisite features, angelic aura, devilishly hot figure, and fair skin spoke for themselves.
Such a woman would tempt any normal man to turn into a beast.
Skyview was a normal man, naturally drawn to Willow's beauty, longing to make love to her immediately. It was a wicked desire, but also a common one among men. Men might not all be fools, but they were certainly lustful.
To act like a beast, Skyview should take advantage of the situation and deal with Willow right there. In today's open-minded society, perhaps Willow wouldn't turn on Skyview after one night together!
But ultimately, this was a wicked act. Skyview's upbringing didn't support such evil deeds.
Skyview found himself in this difficult dilemma.
As for why Willow was unconscious?
It wasn't Skyview's doing, but Connor's.
Connor had secretly spiked the drink with a hallucinogen called "Dreamy Potion," which was colorless and tasteless, extremely covert. Connor didn't put the hallucinogen in the drink but on Willow's glass.
Although Willow was highly vigilant against Connor, seeing him drink the wine without hesitation, she also drank it, unaware of Connor's scheme. If not for Skyview's timely arrival, Connor might have slept with Skyview's girlfriend.
Many innocent women had fallen for Connor's tricks in the past; his methods were shockingly disgusting.
Thanks to Skyview's timely intervention, Connor was driven away. However, the effects of the hallucinogen on Willow soon took hold. Willow first fell into a brief coma, then became extremely provocative towards Skyview, almost causing him to lose control.
Skyview had no choice but to take Willow away and seek treatment from a renowned doctor.
"This hallucinogen is a notorious drug developed in Italy to control women under one's thumb," the doctor told Skyview.
Skyview became excited and asked, "I heard there is a disease requiring intercourse for curing. Could she be this case?" Skyview said with a smirk.
The doctor looked at Skyview mockingly and said, "Do you really think it's like that?"
Skyview asked, "Isn't it?"
The doctor coldly replied, "This is reality, not a fantasy. There's no room for your male fantasies here. Although this hallucinogen is potent, there is an antidote. I have the serum to counteract the hallucinogen!" The doctor then took out a vial of ice-blue serum and injected it into Willow.
Within a minute, Willow's expression returned to normal, though she remained unconscious.
