Chapter 14: Kidnapped
At 8 o'clock in the evening, Skyview arrived at Central Park.
Central Park, as the name suggests, is a romantic place with cherry blossoms.
However, it was not the season for cherry blossoms to bloom now, so Central Park was somewhat deserted.
Only a few rare couples walked hand in hand into the dark, secluded area, pondering about some unspeakable plans.
In Central Park, Skyview felt a tinge of sadness in his heart. Although he realized that Alice was materialistic, after all those years of emotions, it wasn't easy to let go.
Skyview remembered the first time he saw Alice.
Back then, Skyview was naïve.
He actually thought that despite Alice being extravagant, smoking, and low-class, she was a good girl.
Now, looking back at his past self, he felt utterly foolish.
"Skyview!" Alice, looking beautiful today, appeared behind Skyview at that moment.
Skyview turned around and asked, "Where are my things?"
Alice frowned. "Do you really have no feelings left for me?"
"Of course not!" Skyview coldly replied, "I came here today just to completely end things with you, take back what I gave you, destroy it, and let all memories fade away with the wind!"
"Do we really have no chance of getting back together?" Alice asked with a dark expression.
If there was a chance, Alice wouldn't want to start her plan!
It would be so much better to be the wife of the chairman of the Twin Group!
Who would want to commit a crime with Jack?
"It's over!" Skyview said, "I will never get back with a woman like you!"
"Do you look down on me?" Alice asked.
"No," Skyview replied.
A glimmer of hope ignited in Alice's heart, wondering if Skyview still had feelings for her.
But the next words from Skyview instantly crushed the hope that had just sparked in Alice.
"I just don't like being with someone who works in the adult entertainment industry!" Skyview added.
Alice's face turned red, saying bitterly, "Are you calling me whore?"
"Do you think you're clean?" Skyview retorted.
"Very much so!" Alice said. "It seems you won't even give me a billion as a breakup fee, right?"
At the mention of the breakup fee, Skyview became agitated.
Without hesitation, Skyview said, "Forgive me for being blunt, but even if you worked at Alien Club until you were eighty, you wouldn't earn a billion. Other men could sleep with you for a few thousand bucks, and you think I'd give you a billion? Get lost!"
This time, Alice heard him loud and clear.
"Skyview, since you are so heartless, you'll get what you deserve!" Alice sneered. "It's not like I didn't give you a chance."
"What do you want to do?" Skyview suddenly had a very bad feeling about this.
These streets had always been relatively safe.
This made Skyview's sense of security somewhat lax.
Otherwise, billionaires would always have bodyguards wherever they went.
Not only did Skyview not bring bodyguards, but because this was a place of memories involving his personal feelings, he asked Lily to wait for him at the park entrance.
Now Skyview was alone.
"Let's start it!" Alice said, looking behind her. "Jack, come out!"
Suddenly, Jack and over a dozen big men holding blades emerged from the dark side.
"Skyview, long time no see!" Jack, with bandages wrapped around him, looked at Skyview with resentment. "Because of you, I look like this now. How do you plan to compensate me?"
As Jack spoke, his associates surrounded Skyview.
If Skyview knew martial arts, he could confidently say in this situation, "I can easily handle you all," then make some moves, and leave with a confident and handsome back view.
But Skyview didn't know martial arts.
Faced with more than ten bad guys with knives, Skyview didn't dare to move.
"You! No matter how much Jack pays you, I'll pay you ten times more. Just punch Jack, and I'll give you a thousand!" Skyview, quick-witted, tried the same trick again. "You should know I'm wealthy, otherwise you wouldn't have come to kidnap me. Betray Jack, stand on my side, and the money is yours!"
However, these bad guys were unmoved by Skyview's words.
"Skyview, do you think I'm a fool? The same trick won't work again," Jack sneered, "My previous associates were just a group of friends, so you could buy them with money! But now my associates are all relatives of my family. I've promised each of them ten million. You can't buy them!"
"My goodness!" Skyview suddenly reached into his pocket, pulled out a wad of cash, and waved it. "Here's some cash, pick it up quickly!"
The banknotes fluttered in the sky like angels scattering flowers.
However, the strong men remained steadfast, and one of them grabbed Skyview.
"Ouch," Skyview grimaced. "Are you guys crazy? If you don't want the money, what else do you want?"
"We don't want small change, we want big money!" Jack walked up to Skyview. "This time, I'm going to extort one billion from you! Before I get one billion, I won't kill you."
With that, Jack instructed one of his associates, "Arquist, don't waste this money; pick up all the cash!"
The man named Arquist immediately smiled and started picking up the money.
Feeling discouraged, Skyview realized he was in big trouble today, with no way out!
"Let's go, take our billionaire into the car!" Jack grinned.
Immediately, two strong men lifted Skyview and stuffed him into a silver car in the darkness.
"This is really bad! If I survive this, I'll definitely hire the best bodyguard in the world!" Skyview vowed in his heart.
Jack and his men got into the car, started the engine, and drove away.
But unbeknownst to everyone, in the distance, Lily's figure appeared.
Although Skyview had asked Lily to wait at the park entrance, she was not at ease and was also curious about Skyview's ex-girlfriend, so she secretly followed Skyview to see what would happen between Skyview and Alice!
Instead of witnessing love, she saw a crime!
"Oh no, this is bad!" Lily sighed. "I can only seek help from Uncle now!"
