Chapter 21: Don't Be an Enemy
"You think Skyview is just a rich trust fund kid, nothing special, right?" Skylar said coldly, "Or do you actually look down on trust fund kids?"
"Yes," Jack thought for a moment and honestly replied, "I do look down on the them."
"Why do you look down at them?" Skylar asked.
"Because they lack cultural cultivation," Jack replied.
"What is cultural cultivation?" Skylar inquired.
"Building a career step by step, so they not only have money but also build connections, with a solid foundation," Jack said. "You're a perfect example!"
Skylar laughed heartily, but it wasn't a joyful laugh, it was a self-mocking one.
After the laughter, Skylar asked Jack, "Jack, do you know how much money Skyview has?"
"According to Alice, Skyview is now a billionaire. He used to be a useless waste, I don't know how he got so lucky as to inherit a billion-dollar fortune," Jack said, not realizing the slight distortion on his own face, a jealous expression!
Indeed, who wouldn't be jealous of Skyview's fortune?
Jack was envious, too!
Jack felt that Skyview had no real talent. He just had better luck than himself!
"To be precise, Skyview inherited a five billion fortune, which means Skyview has a total of five billion!" Skylar said in a deep voice. "That's just liquid assets, the value of the Twin Group itself is immeasurable! "Jesus, he has so much!" Since the billion-dollar figure was far beyond Jack's usual scene, he wasn't particularly sensitive to it. However, when Skylar drew a comparison, Jack suddenly grasped the vast difference between his well-connected godfather's wealth and Skyview's. Jack thought for a moment, feeling a chill down his spine, unable to speak.

"Middle school!" Jack said proudly. "I have the highest education level in my family!"

"It should be similar to mine, either elementary school or middle school," Jack replied.
In Jack's view, a delivery guy like Skyview wouldn't have a high education.
'At most high school, but even if it's a high school education, it's nothing to be proud of,' Jack thought.
"Skyview was a top student at Maplebrook Institute of Technology, although he didn't graduate. He was just blinded by love and gave up," Skylar said softly. "The more I do business, the more I realize how terrifying these knowledgeable people are. Anyone who can get into Maplebrook Institute of Technology is definitely a genius. "
"Maplebrook Institute of Technology, what's that? " Jack said, puzzled, "I've heard of Mystic Highlands, Rivercrest, and Jade Valley but never heard of Maplebrook Institute of Technology."

Skylar continued, "More importantly, the former chairman of the Twin Group, Dylan, has never lost in the business world and is much more formidable than me. Since Dylan handed over the inheritance to Skyview. He must have had expectations of him. Do you really think your failed kidnapping of Skyview was just an accident? It was Skylar's guilt toward his first love that led to a sense of compensation toward Jack. Otherwise, Skylar wouldn't have been so careful in advising Jack!
"I understand," Jack knew he had to back down, immediately showing a mature look. "I won't provoke Skyview again!"
"Good, you can leave now!" Skylar waved his hand.
Jack quickly took his leave.
But as soon as Jack left Skylar's office, a hint of resentment appeared in his eyes. He thought to himself, 'Skyview, I've lost to you twice, this hatred is not something that can't be resolved!
'And godfather missed one thing. Even if I spare you, you may not spare me!
'Rather than being killed by you in the future, I'll kill you first!
'Skyview, when my body recovers, it'll be your time to die!'
Resolutions burst forth in Jack's mind.
Just as Jack returned to his own residence, he received a mysterious phone call.
"Are you Jack? I heard you want to deal with Skyview?" a voice said.
"That's right, who are you?" Jack answered.
"It doesn't matter who I am, but I have some crucial information to tell you: Skyview and the Twin Group have a three-year agreement. If Skyview fails his to achieve what success in three years, he won't be able to serve as the chairman of the Twin Group. Lakeview Express is Skyview's starting point. Do you understand?"
The call ended.
