Kaelen had a private jet and ten helicopters, but even he thought using them was way too showy. Seeing all those helicopters made him squirm. "Seriously? Someone's more arrogant than me?" he muttered.
"Nicholas, is that guy on the plane your boyfriend?" Nicholas sneered, pointing up. "Sure, he might be loaded, but flaunting it like that? Not cool."
"Nicholas, you're not wrong. My boyfriend's rich," Willow said, shrugging. "But I like him for who he is, not his money." Willow was throwing shade at Kaelen, who seemed charming but had a wild, messy private life she couldn't stand.
Kaelen ignored her, eyes locked on the helicopters, feeling a mix of anger and excitement. 'This is getting interesting. Someone's actually trying to steal my girl? Bold move!' he thought, a cold smile creeping onto his face. Kaelen was super confident. He loved facing tough opponents and never backed down from a challenge.
Meanwhile, Skyview's helicopters stole the show at the Brighter Futures Ball. People were buzzing, trying to figure out who the newcomer was. For most, arriving with ten helicopters was mind-blowing. Those choppers screamed big money! Most rich folks might show up in a yacht, but helicopters? That meant billionaire status!
"Who is this? Showing up with ten helicopters? Insane! Must be a billionaire!" Someone gasped.
Others tried to play it cool, saying, "Just ten helicopters. Plenty of rich folks can afford that but choose to stay low-key. This guy's just flashy."
"Don't be jealous. Coming with ten helicopters? That's wild!"
"Which flashy billionaire could it be? Maybe Oliver?"
"No way. Oliver's never been this flashy!"
People speculated about Skyview's identity. The helicopters hovered over the red carpet. Security quickly cleared the area, making room for the landing. The powerful downdraft from the blades almost lifted the red carpet.
Soon, the helicopters touched down smoothly. The door of the first helicopter opened, and out stepped Skyview.
Skyview was dressed in high-end casual wear, looking more like a hiker than a billionaire. But no one was surprised; foreign billionaires often dressed like this, finding suits and ties too stuffy.
Skyview smiled and waved to the crowd. Next came Skyview's assistant, Lily and the bodyguard, Suzanne. A team of security personnel in suits and sunglasses escorted Skyview into the venue.
"Who is this guy?"
"No clue, but what an entrance! Must be a big shot!"
"Definitely a billionaire!"
People were stunned and started asking around about Skyview. But as a new face in the rich crowd, most had no idea who he was.
"Sir, can I see your invitation, please?" The usher at the door asked Skyview. If it were Erin, Adam, or Serenity, the famous tycoons, the usher would've let them in without a second thought. But the usher didn't recognize Skyview. Despite the grand entrance, he had to check the invitation to do his job.
Skyview stayed silent as Lily handed over the invitation. "Sorry for not recognizing you. Mr. Scott, chairman of the Twin Group!" The usher said quickly after checking the invite. "Mr. Scott, please come in!"
Once Skyview's identity was revealed, people gaped and whipped out their phones to film him. 'Everyone knows the Twin Group, but wasn't its chairman Dylan dead? So, who is this Mr. Scott?' they wondered, eyes filled with curiosity.
