Chapter 34: Masters' Game
"Brandon, let me ask you the last time: Would you sell your company to me?" Skyview asked.
"No!" Brandon replied.
Skyview laughed confidently. "Since you are so stubborn, my offer is lower now. How about one million? Accept it! If you don't sell me your company today, you will regret it. Next time, you will even beg me to buy it! Do you believe me?"
"I don't believe you!" Brandon looked at Skyview in disbelief. "I think you are simply insane! Goodbye!"
Brandon felt truly unlucky to have encountered a fool like Skyview.
But ironically, this fool was younger, more handsome, and wealthier than Brandon!
'Am I angry? Not at all!' Filled with anger, Brandon decided to turn and leave.
"Wait, Mr. Mitchell. Let's continue chatting for a while; what's the rush?" Skyview said. "Let me show you a video!"
Brandon turned back, sounding unfriendly. "Skyview, what are you up to?"
Skyview said, "Please watch this video."
After saying that, Skyview opened his phone and clicked on the video player.
A strange sound from a woman began to play.
"Mr. Mitchell, are you into porn? This is the best porn video I just found!" Skyview chuckled, "Let's stop thinking of business, let's entertain ourselves."
Brandon frowned. "Are you crazy? I never watch this type of video."
Skyview said, "Don't you want to take a closer look? The male looks so familiar to me."
Just as Brandon was about to scold Skyview and call him shameless, he suddenly froze and then looked extremely shocked.
"Honey, I really miss you!"
"Brandon, you're always in such a rush."
"...You are so beautiful, I can't resist."
Familiar voices echoed in Brandon's ears.
In the video, it was none other than Brandon and Jenna in a sex scene.
As the adult video was about to reach some highlight moments, Brandon shouted, "Enough! Stop it!"
Upon hearing Brandon's protestations, Skyview stopped the playback.
Skyview's lips curled slightly, a hint of a smile appearing as he observed Brandon.
He could sense a strong anger suppressed within Brandon at that moment, but with Skyview holding evidence of his cheating, Brandon could only endure it, not daring to erupt.
"Are you trying to extort me?" Brandon gritted his teeth, fists clenched, wishing he could punch Skyview in the face to relieve his anger.
"I'm not extorting you," Skyview said. "I am just a fan of adult films, and I just happened to find this tape; I really didn't know you would be the main character in it. However, Mr. Mitchell, even though you are aged, your sex skills are impressive. I truly admire you!"
"Are you threatening me?" Brandon asked.
"How could it be a threat?" Skyview smiled. "I heard that, Mr. Mitchell, your wife is like a boss at home. You are always bullied and humiliated by her. She is not someone you dare to mess with. If your wife were to see this video, who knows what the consequences would be? Even if I don’t send it to her, I am about to upload it on the internet, and she may find out eventually."
Brandon's eyes reddened and he clenched his fists. "Do you think I am afraid of what you are going to do? I can simply leave the country!"
Although Brandon was afraid of his wife, as long as he had money, he could just run away from her.
Hearing this, Skyview decided to try his second move.
Skyview mused, "Go abroad? That must require plenty of money. Now I know where your confidence comes from. You have invested all your savings and bank loans into the stock market, and the stocks have been rising steadily. You have made a lot of money, right?"
Brandon's expression changed. "It seems you know all about me!"
Skyview teased, "Your stocks are worth sixty million, right?"
"Correct! With HealthPro Medical Devices Company, I have assets worth a billion. Even if I lose half in a divorce, I still have tens of millions, and I can easily live a gorgeous life in Canada with my lover! Do you think I'm afraid of you?"
"If I'm not mistaken, you invested in EliteVision Films, right? This film company has produced many excellent films this year with excellent results, and the stocks have been rising steadily, correct?" Skyview continued.
"I started from the bottom with outstanding vision. I am not someone you can compare to! My investment has already brought me a fortune!" Brandon proudly stated.
"But have you noticed that EliteVision Films' latest movie is about to be released? The lead is Donovan Ho, a talented male star with strong box-office appeal. With Donovan as the lead, you must think it will be profitable, right?" Skyview remarked.
"Of course!" Brandon replied, "Donovan always brings big success. Last year, Donovan's film made billions at the box office. With such talent, how could Donovan fail?"
"I also believe Donovan wouldn't fail under normal circumstances, but what if something happens to Donovan, like getting caught for drug use?" Skyview suggested.
"What are you saying?" Brandon's expression turned grim. "Are you crazy?"
Skyview laughed, "Check out the hot trends on Facebook! Donovan is involved in a huge scandal now, and I think his latest film is doomed."
"Many of EliteVision Films' previous movies were co-produced with other film companies. But Donovan's latest film was fully funded by EliteVision Films to the tune of billions! So, the cost would be all be borne by EliteVision Films. By the way, the Twin Group was shorting EliteVision Films' stocks. We will be fine but you're done! EliteVision Films is done too!"
