"Oliver, don't worry, I'll keep you safe!" one bodyguard said, "This Kai won't get near you!"
Finn Valor and Rowan Winters spoke, flanking Kai from both sides.
"You were innocent! But since you're helping this rich guy to stop my revenge, I'll kill you!" Kai shouted, "Today, not even the law can stop me, and neither can you. Go die!"
Kai said and threw a punch! This punch was like a shooting star, fast as lightning!
Finn and Rowan's expressions changed simultaneously.
They instantly realized that Kai was mighty.
Skyview stopped running.
He hadn't run far.
As long as he reached Suzanne, he would be safe.
Oliver's car had been completely wrecked, and in a rush, he pleaded with Skyview, "Hurry up, drive! Take me with you!"
Skyview shrugged and said, "No need, we're already safe!"
Oliver said, "It's not safe! Who knows what else he might do!"
Skyview had initially intended to reassure that with Suzanne present, there was nothing to be afraid of. However, he noticed Suzanne casting a disdainful glance at Oliver. It seemed Suzanne didn't like Oliver and probably wouldn't help him.
"Alright, get in the car, let's run!" Skyview said, "Hurry!"
With that, Skyview got into the Ferrari.
Oliver was about to get in when suddenly, he found himself floating in mid-air.
Oliver's legs struggled, like a rabbit being grabbed by the ears.
It turned out Oliver wasn't floating; this wasn't some superpower.
Kai had somehow appeared behind Oliver, grabbed his neck, and lifted him into the air.
"Help!" Oliver screamed frantically, "Murder!"
Hearing Oliver's cry for help, the surrounding crowd quickly dispersed.
In an instant, only Oliver, Skyview, and a few others were left.
Oliver was too embarrassed to speak.
Skyview sighed. "This is really bad!"
Kai turned Oliver's body around to face him.
"Where are my bodyguards?" Oliver asked.
"I killed them!" Kai snarled.
Oliver saw his two bodyguards lying in a pool of blood.
Even if they weren't dead, they couldn't fight anymore.
They had been taken down by Kai so quickly and were simply not worth a single blow.
Oliver felt very scared.
"I didn't mean it!" Oliver trembled. "How much do you want? I'll pay you!"
"Money? That bitch betrayed me for money, I've been cuckolded! Do you think I care about your money?" Kai exclaimed angrily. "You dare bring up money to me! Is having money all that makes you great?"
Kai raised his hand and delivered a powerful, resounding slap to Oliver.
Kai didn't hold back; Oliver's nose bled, his teeth loosened, and half his face turned red and purple. The once arrogant super-rich kid was now in a sorry state, looking utterly miserable.
