Chapter 130

"Yes, we just signed the contract!" Marc nodded with a smile.

I thought to myself, 'This guy is quite cunning, but I like it!'

" Mr. Jones, are you being misled? That contract is likely counterfeit!" Ms. White couldn't help but say.

Mr. Morales also realized. "Mr. Jones, yeah, you must not be deceived."

Marc smiled. "Don't worry, it's real, and I am certain that this contract is genuine."

Mr. Morales's face turned extremely grim; he turned to Ms. White, who also looked uneasy.

Tony packed his things and said, "Ms. White, thank you for taking care of me these days. In the future, I will definitely create more big deals for FF Media!"

After speaking, he put on his backpack, saying, "John, let's go!"

I inquired, "You're foregoing your salary?"

"Of course not. It was their choice to terminate my employment. If they dare to withhold any payment, we will meet in court!"

Marc also said, "Mr. Morales, let's talk later."

As we exited the company's door, we heard a shout from behind, "Tell me, what on earth is happening?"

I chuckled. People are often deceived by their own perceptions; sometimes, what you see may not be the truth.

"I'll trouble you to take care of the project," I said to Marc.

"Don't worry, I will definitely satisfy you," Marc replied.

"Tony, I'm leaving first; call me if you need anything." I patted his shoulder. "Learn from the experienced ones."

I whispered a few words in his ear, and he nodded. "Don't worry, I get it." Leaving the YT Building, I let out a sigh of relief. 'Finally sorted,' I thought to myself. Ten million dollars, forty percent profit, split evenly— that's two million dollars each. Damn, it was making more than the six million bill I signed in Skyliho.

Being a boss really made a damn lot of money.

'I want to be a boss too!'

This project lasted about a month and brought in a monthly income of two million. In the past, I wouldn't have even thought about it.

However, this collaborative negotiation didn't go perfectly this time, mainly because I lacked my own business entity.

As Frank had mentioned, even a shell company would suffice. The idea of hiring two female assistants was quite thrilling to me.

I called Lily, telling her I was dealing with Winest Company, and she didn't say much.

Having a deal is just that awesome.

Renting a space in the YT Building was certainly not economical; even a small single room would cost between seven to eight thousand dollars per month, including property fees. However, if the location was too far away, it would not be convenient either.

Next to the Skyliho company was a building called the BS Building, which had approximately thirty floors.

This building was mainly occupied by agencies and small companies, and most importantly, it offered more affordable rates.

I went to the BS Building, approached the property management directly to view the place, and found a suitable location on the 20th floor.

It was 900 square feet, with rent and property fees totaling around six thousand a month. I signed a year-long contract on the spot, paying the fees for the first quarter upfront, and just like that, twenty-four thousand dollars disappeared. The place used to be a loan office, so the decoration was quite nice, with the boss's office spanning over 300 square feet!

I had the property management send people over to clean up, costing me one thousand, and then found a scalper to handle the license, which set me back three thousand. I was told the license could be obtained within three days.

The company was named MY Media Company.

Then, it was about getting office desk supplies. I went to the second-hand market again. Since it was a shell company, there was no need to buy brand new; second-hand was fine.

After a successful shopping spree where I spent around six to seven thousand dollars and acquired all the necessary equipment, I felt incredibly satisfied as the workers organized everything. It never crossed my mind that one day I would be able to start my own company.

While the dance training class was meaningful, this venture truly felt like my own business. I returned to the computer market, purchased ten used PCs for a total of nine thousand dollars, and didn't have time to set up the broadband, leaving that task for the next day.

Looking at the time, it was already five in the afternoon, with just half an hour left before closing time.

Back at Skyliho, I was exhausted and gulped down some water to recover.

Grace came over and asked, "Where did you go this afternoon?"

"I went to Winest Company."

"Wow, such a good thing, and you didn't even invite me!"

"If I were to invite anyone, it would be Paul; what's it to do with you."

I glanced at her, this woman who flirted all day long. If I didn't let her focus on her work, who knows what trouble she might stir up?

She pouted, appearing somewhat upset.

I said, "Focus on the project; once it's done, I'll tell you the good news."

"What good news?" She immediately became interested.

"I can't tell you now; I'll tell you after the project is finished."

"John, Supervisor John, just tell me..."

She was definitely shaking my arm, but she seemed to be swaying even more than I was. Her dribbling skills were quite impressive.

Wasn't she concerned about accidentally dribbling on people?

"After the project, I promise it will be good news!"

She whispered softly, "Is it another big project?"

I smiled and remained silent.

"Oh, can't you give me a hint, Master!"

"The time hasn't come."

"If you don't tell, you won't see."

She adjusted her clothes and stated, "I won't show you." I shook my head in resignation; this flirtatious woman was truly materialistic.

After she departed, I messaged Lily, "Seven o'clock tonight, Sevan Pearl Tower, Room Seven!"

Later, at work, as I observed her expressionless face while she packed up, I couldn't discern her thoughts, which left me feeling uncertain.

Upon returning home, freshening up and shaving, I left at six o'clock. Sevan was bustling at night, and I arrived at the Pearl Tower by six forty.

The Pearl Tower, standing over a hundred floors, was Sevan's tallest landmark building. Peering down from there, the vibrant streets and flashing neon lights depicted a prosperity that words couldn't capture.

I never imagined I would dine here one day. It's truly beyond my wildest dreams. To show my sincerity and importance to her, I stood at the elevator waiting.

As time passed, couples entered hand in hand, and I started to feel a bit anxious. Damn, could this woman really not come? I thought to myself, 'If you don't come tonight, I'll call Grace; this flirtatious woman would definitely be very willing to come.'

As seven o'clock approached, I started to get impatient, telling myself, 'Wait another five minutes; if she doesn't come after five minutes, then forget it!' It would mean that this conquest had failed halfway.

Just as the five minutes were about to pass, the elevator 'dinged,' and the doors opened.

When I looked inside, a woman in a white evening gown, her hair elegantly styled, walked out.

She had a faint blush on her face and features that resembled a painting, making her incredibly beautiful.

With a silver bracelet adorning her wrist and sparkling high heels on her feet, I was left speechless. If it wasn't Lily, who else could it be? I swallowed hard.

Damn, she was stunning.
