Chapter 168
Arriving at Sevan University, I headed straight to the library, which was my alma mater.
I knew my way around here very well.
I messaged Kelsey and followed her instructions to find her in the far corner of the library!
Today, she was wearing a JK super short skirt, a white lace top that reached her knees, and a pair of small round-toe leather shoes.
With her hair tied in a ponytail, light makeup, lip gloss, and a pair of large glasses perched on her nose, she exuded an artistic vibe.
She would undoubtedly pass for a goddess to those who didn't know her.
When she saw me, a hint of joy flickered in her eyes, but she didn't greet me because she had already told me last night that she wanted to play a game with me!
'Nobody Knows Anybody' was the name of the game!
Now, I was playing the role of a senior student who came to the library to study. She was a studious student, and we were strangers to each other.
I smiled. She was quick to get into the game mode.
It was really interesting.
I was casually browsing a bookshelf, selected a book, and took a seat beside her, maintaining a respectable distance, of course.
Seated beside her were two men and four women.
This corner was a prime spot, crucially devoid of surveillance, and the quietest nook in the library.
I even heard rumors of people engaging in intimate activities in this corner.
The rumors were quite rampant at the time.
I pretended to search for a book on the bookshelf deliberately making the sound of flipping through the pages louder, catching the attention of a few people nearby. "Hey, handsome boy, could you please be a bit quieter while you are flipping through the book?" asked one of the attractive girls seated next to her.
I apologized and raised the book in my hand. "Sorry, I'm looking up some information."
I intentionally moved closer and asked Kelsey, "Hey, I'm a bit thirsty. Can I buy your coffee?"
Kelsey looked puzzled and a bit confused.
In my mind, I thought her acting was top-notch.
I pointed to the coffee in front of her. "Can I buy this one?"
"No, this is for my boyfriend. I specifically left it for him." Kelsey shook her head.
"Why don't you ask me how much I'm willing to pay?"
Kelsey asked, "How much?"
I held up a finger, and Kelsey said, "Ten dollars?"
I shook my head, and she said, "One hundred dollars?"
I shook my head again.
"Are you offering a thousand dollars?"
Kelsey seemed a bit hesitant. She bit her lip. "Hey, even though you're offering a high price, this is for my boyfriend."
I leaned in a bit closer and said, "How about this? You handed me the cup of coffee.”
"Oh, I've already drunk from it!"
"So, what if you've drunk it? It won't influence your boyfriend to drink it!"
I coaxed, "I don't care. Can you sell it to me?"
I leaned in closer and closer, reaching the point where I could see the fine hairs on her face slowly turning red. "But, but..."
I immediately took out a wad of cash from my pocket and slapped it on the table in front of her. "Now, this cup of coffee is mine!"
When I took it, I could see a faint lip gloss residue on the cup. "Hmm, something seems off!"
She suddenly covered her face with both hands. "What's wrong?"
"Isn't this supposed to have a green lime flavor? How come I can taste peach?"
She exclaimed, almost burying her head on the table.
"Oh, I see. The lip gloss you're wearing tastes like peach!"
I saw those two guys’ eyes almost shoot fire, murmuring under their breath, "Pervert!"
Those girls were also dumbfounded by my actions, staring in disbelief.
Kelsey remained silent. Her already rosy face now even redder, and her eyes seeming to well up with tears.
I moved even closer. "I'll be honest with you. I actually love the taste of peach the most. How about you let me have a taste? I'll give you another thousand dollars!"
Kelsey shook her head. "No, I have a boyfriend!"
"It's been so long, and your boyfriend still hasn't shown up. You must be lying to me, right?"
I jokingly said, "How about I be your boyfriend?"
With that, I placed my hand on her leg.
She trembled slightly, but she didn't stop me. Those two guys' eyes were almost popping out.
"Hey, you're out of line."
The pretty girl said, "Why do you force her? Can money really buy anything?"
I looked at her with curiosity. This girl had been reading with her head down all the time, as if everything was unrelated to her.
I couldn't help but laugh. "Sorry, money really can buy anything, and when both parties are willing, there is no force at all."
"You were indeed forcing her."
She closed her book and said to Kelsey, "Don't be afraid. The more you fear someone like him, the more aggressive he becomes. "
"I... I..."
At this moment, Kelsey portrayed a look of utter helplessness to the extreme, but my hand didn't stop, instead sliding along her smooth leg.
When my fingers brushed against them, tiny bumps appeared, and even her skin turned red.
Her body couldn't help but tremble uncontrollably.
"Two thousand dollars. Can I have a taste of the lip gloss?"
