Just then, my phone buzzed with a message from Ella: [Hey, I have a class tomorrow. Come if you can!]
I slapped my forehead, realizing I had totally forgotten. I promised Ella I'd attend her class, but with last week's hospital stay and the company's opening, it slipped my mind.
Surprised to hear from Ella herself, I replied, [Sure thing, Ms. Martinez. I'll be there.]
Instead of heading back to the marketing department, I went to the rooftop to smoke and chill out.
As soon as I got there, I heard voices—a guy and a girl talking. I listened closely and recognized Nicole's voice.
Why was she on the rooftop? She should be working.
Nicole had been giving me a hard time lately. If I could find her weakness, she'd stop messing with me.
I quietly moved around to their side, using the noise from the central air conditioning to cover my steps.
I took out my phone and started recording. It was Nicole, alright.
The guy had his back to me, but he wasn't from the marketing department.
They chatted for a bit, then started kissing. Nicole was really into it, moaning and everything.
A guy and a girl alone on the rooftop? They were definitely there for sex.
I felt a rush. Finally, I had something on Nicole.
As they got more into it, the guy's hands started wandering under her clothes. Nicole's voice got even more seductive.
Hugging and kissing was one thing, but having sex up here was too much.
Nicole was in professional attire, with a knee-length skirt and no stockings, making it easy for them.
The guy wasn't satisfied with just foreplay. "I can't hold back!" he said, starting to tear at her clothes.
Nicole said, "Be gentle, you're ripping my clothes. I can't work like this."
The guy replied, "Didn't I tell you to keep extra clothes in the office? Plus, you have your own office now."
He smirked and started taking off his own clothes.
Nicole said, "It's not good if I keep changing clothes every day. People will notice."
The guy said, "Just get a few more sets of the same style."
He patted her butt, and she obediently turned around, raising her hips.
My phone captured everything clearly!
Then the guy turned around, and I was shocked.
It was Lucas, the Project Department Director!
This was a big deal. The Deputy Director of Marketing having sex with the Project Department Director? If they were having an affair, the company's wealth could be at risk.
Nicole was promoted by Linda, and the Project Department was overseen by Katherine. If Nicole was involved with Lucas, it meant Lucas was in Linda's pocket.
This was a serious issue.
It's not that I'm paranoid, but in the workplace, you have to consider the worst-case scenario.
Linda and Katherine were starting to compete, and it all came down to power.
The Finance Department was tightly controlled by Steven. As long as he had the money, he wasn't worried about any competition.
"Do you have a condom?" Nicole asked.
"Condoms are uncomfortable; I can't feel anything," Lucas replied.
"No way, what if I get pregnant?" Nicole tried to pull away, but Lucas held her. "It's fine, I'll just pull out."
"No, that's too risky," Nicole insisted.
"Just take some birth control pills," Lucas suggested.
Lucas was confident, and Nicole seemed conflicted but reluctantly agreed.
"Hurry up, someone might come," Nicole urged.
"My stamina is strong; it might take a while," Lucas boasted.
"I don't care!" Nicole muttered.
I realized it was their first time having sex. It was just my luck to catch them now.
I watched for a bit. Despite Nicole's attitude, she had a good figure and looks. It was a shame Lucas was taking advantage of her.
Lucas kept changing positions, four in a row in a minute, but it didn't seem to work. On the fifth position, he finished.
Nicole's expression changed. "Are you done?"
Lucas looked embarrassed. "That was just the start. I wasn't in the mood yet."
Nicole lowered her head, showing disdain and frustration. I couldn't help but laugh; Lucas was all talk.
Lucas tried to cover up his performance issues with excuses. Nicole looked conflicted, making me feel a bit awkward.
"How's the task I gave you going?" Nicole asked.
"It's handled. Everything's set," Lucas replied.
"Really?" Nicole looked pleased.
"Yeah, it's easy to bring down Jenny!"
"Not just Jenny, but John too. I want to ruin them both!" Nicole said angrily.
Lucas smiled, "No problem. With a little manipulation, I can make their lives miserable."
"You're amazing, Lucas!" Nicole said sweetly.
Lucas patted her back smugly. "Just remember that and work harder."
"Okay," Nicole nodded. "But you need to cooperate too!"
"You little minx, I should've met you sooner," Lucas said, breathing in deeply.
These two were definitely up to no good. They were planning to retaliate against me, Jenny, and anyone close to us.
I didn't know their exact plan, but with the video, I wasn't worried.
"Do you think Jenny will beg me to spare her?" Lucas asked.
"I don't know," Nicole replied.
"Haha, I bet she will. Then I'll have sex with her," Lucas said.
"So, that was your plan," Nicole's face showed her displeasure. Lucas was indeed a jerk.
"I've wanted Jenny for a long time. She acts all high and mighty, but she's probably more promiscuous than anyone."
Lucas got more excited as he spoke, and then he finished again.
