"Can I get a female assistant? Not that I have anything against male assistants, but sometimes it's just easier."
I was a bit surprised.
I signaled to Aisling to jot it down. "Alright, you'll have a female assistant within three days!"
Eulalia lit up. "Mr. Cena, thank you!"
"Mr. Cena, can we chat with other streamers? Just singing every day without promoting the company’s products is getting dull," Serenity chimed in.
"Okay, I'll think about it. I'll have Mia draft a revenue-sharing plan. My bottom line is a fair split."
"Mr. Cena, you're the best!" Serenity said, clearly excited.
Then everyone started throwing out suggestions. I took the reasonable ones and shot down the ridiculous ones.
I said, "Remember, the company provides the platform, but you all are the real stars. I want us to become the top streaming company in the country and for each of you to live a prosperous and free life."
Everyone cheered, and Lily jumped up excitedly, her chest bouncing.
Mia smiled quietly.
After everyone left, Mia came over, looking a bit annoyed. "You make me the bad guy as soon as you get back, you jerk!"
I quickly hugged her, and Aisling quietly left the room.
"What are you doing? Aren't you worried someone will come in?" Mia said nervously.
"Aisling's guarding the door; no one's coming in." I caressed Mia's delicate body. "You've put on a bit of weight; I can't even hold you with one hand."
Her face turned red. "You jerk, you disappeared for half a month without a word, and now you're either showing off or teasing me!"
I knew she was upset, so I said, "I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you."
I kissed her sweet lips, savoring them. She responded passionately. "I haven't been with you in so long."
I quickly held her hand. "Not now, we'll talk later."
After being with Aisling and Ava, I needed a break.
"You didn't mess around in Greenvale City, did you?" She looked at me closely.
"Of course not," I said. "I was super busy. Think about it, without me, could Greenvale City have such good projects?"
"That's true!"
The doubt on her face disappeared. "So, come to my place tonight?"
"Not tonight. I have other things to handle," I said. "I know you're anxious, but you have to let me finish the company's business. You're the future boss lady of the company, do you want to see the company in crisis?"
"I don't want that!" Mia said quickly.
After leaving Everlasting New Media, I headed to VelocityMart. VelocityMart was now split into three departments: programming, marketing, and fast-flow.
Currently, WY Media Company's delivery was under VelocityMart, and bundled marketing could really boost VelocityMart's value.
If it were just a pure second-hand luxury e-commerce platform, it would be hard to be valued highly.
Those companies were so cautious mainly because of logistics.
"Mr. Cena, the marketing department has signed a contract with the largest second-hand luxury market in Europe." She handed me a document. I glanced at it quickly; Aria was very forward-thinking.
If we only had the sources from Azure Federation, it would be easy to be restricted if something went wrong.
Then I said, "Try to sign more markets, so no one can restrict us."
"We can, but they required a $3 million deposit."
"Try it for a month first, sign a betting agreement with them. If we can't ship over $100 million in a month, we'll compensate them $3 million."
Aria was shocked. "Mr. Cena, isn't that too risky?"
"Greenvale City, Stellaris City, Nexus City, Omega City, Citadel City—let's launch in all five places at once. What do you think?" I said, stroking my chin.
"Mr. Cena, are you serious about launching in five cities simultaneously?"
"Is there a problem?"
"That would stretch our funds thin, and we wouldn't have enough staff, which could hurt our efficiency and service quality."
"Think differently. We'll acquire smaller local logistics companies and recruit people from courier companies. Set up five major warehouses in those cities to cover the whole country. Don't worry about the funds. Ask the finance department for $50 million. You have a month to make it happen."
"Okay, Mr. Cena." Aria nodded, looking excited.
She quickly called a meeting with all the mid-to-senior management at VelocityMart. Everyone was buzzing with excitement.
I told them, "Work hard for this month. After that, I'll throw you a big celebration."
After leaving VelocityMart, I headed to the Dance Fusion Hal flagship store.
Liberty Square, as the national No. 1 flagship store, had the best facilities and services.
"Sir, are you a family member?" A sweet-looking girl asked politely.
"Yes, I'm here to find someone."
"Please go to the guest area. There are free tea and fruits. If you have children, there are free play facilities."
I looked where she pointed. To my right, there was a small playground with a tea room, and many men were already there drinking tea and eating fruit.
"Did you rent this place?" I asked.
"Yes." The girl smiled sweetly.
I nodded. The service was good, and the staff training was excellent.
But it was all girls inside, and it was a bit awkward for me. "Can you find your manager? Tell her I'm looking for her."
The girl's eyes became wary. "Do you have an appointment?"
"No."
"I'm sorry, without an appointment, I can't inform her, but I can make a note."
I laughed and decided not to tease her anymore, "Alright, I'll call her. You're doing a great job."
In the girl's puzzled eyes, I took out my phone and called Lucy.
Soon, Lucy, dressed in workout clothes, ran out excitedly.
The girl quickly greeted and bowed her head.
Lucy ignored her and, to the girl's astonishment, threw herself into my arms. "You're finally back."
I hugged her, the familiar scent making me feel at ease, "You've worked hard these days. You've lost weight."
"No, I'm very happy." She blushed and quickly realized there were others around. "Let go of me."
I let go of her, and the girl was surprised.
Lucy blushed. "Let me introduce you. This is Mr. Cena, our boss!"
"What? He's Mr. Cena?" The girl was stunned, then quickly stood up straight and bowed ninety degrees, "Mr. Cena, hello!"
I waved my hand. "Don't be nervous. You're doing great."
"Thank you, Mr. Cena. It's my duty."
"Lucy, this girl is good. She deserves a double bonus this month."
"I understand." Lucy gave me a charming look. I rewarded her because she really did a good job.
"Thank you, Mr. Cena." The girl was very excited.
"Come in, let's go to my office."
"Didn't you say no men allowed?"
"You're the boss, and we have a special staff passage."
I nodded and followed her. From behind, her perfect figure made me restless.
Through the glass of the staff passage, I could see young girls practicing dance.
To my surprise, Ruby was also there.
I asked, "Ruby is here too?"
Lucy nodded. "College is on break, and her job is relatively easy. This is her third class this week."
