Chapter 154

"Mrs. Smith, you're being too harsh," I said lightly, "I came to Skyliho to make money, not to be treated unfairly. In marketing, it's all about performance. I'm not a leader, so I don't know how to play those tricks!

"If you care about your reputation, I care about mine as well. If you feel unease, you have two options. Either get rid of me or get rid of him. I've endured for a year. Do you expect me to endure more? Sorry, I won't!"

After saying that, I left directly, walking out of the marketing department.

Damn it! I helped Jenny at first. Yet she took all the benefits for herself and then warned me!

She was so heartless!

I was even angry with Katherine.

Why would she promote Nicole without even informing Nicole that I was on her side?

Back at Eternal Media, I took out the resumes that Mary had picked out yesterday and called them with a different number.

After the phone calls, a few more people came for interviews. Following Mary's instructions, I asked them all to wait for my decision.

Then I called in a repairman to install the broadband on the other side.

At eleven in the morning, Lillian arrived.

"John, did you buy the lilies I asked for?"

I brought out a bouquet from the office. "108 of them!"

"Not bad."

She nodded.

"Isn't just giving a bouquet of flowers too plain?"

"My aunt just wants to meet you. No need for too many gifts. It's not a wedding gift, okay?"

After saying that, her face blushed. Lillian didn't hold back in her words.

But she was still wearing a white dress today, with a ponytail, looking incredibly youthful and beautiful, coupled with her delicate appearance and ample bosoms, which were extremely eye-catching.

"You may say that, as your aunt may be my aunt-in-law."

I chuckled.

The young girl gave me a glare. "You're taking advantage of me!"

She casually sat on my chair, looking around. "John, your dance company is in HT Plaza. Is it convenient to have your office set up here?"

I explained, "This isn't the office of the dance company. It's my newly opened company called Eternal Media. It just started these past few days, and the employees will start working here tomorrow."

"So you're leaving Skyliho?" Lillian seemed surprised.

"I haven't completely left Skyliho yet, but soon, I will." I handed her a bottle of water.

"So does that mean you can handle advertising placements yourself?"

"Yes, but it will take a few days."

"Perfect. My friend has opened a wellness center. I'll introduce them to you when the time comes."

"Thank you so much. I'll treat you to dinner as an appreciation!"

"No need for that. In a few days, our class is going on an outing with the neighboring art class. How about coming with us?"

She blinked her eyes. "We're going to be camping in the wilderness!"

What?

What did the art class's outing have to do with her dance class?

Lillian explained, and I finally understood that many students in her class had chosen art as an elective subject, combined with the close relationship between their head teacher and the art class teacher, leading to this outing.

"But, is it okay for me, an outsider, to go with you?"

"It's fine. By then, they'll all be bringing their boyfriends."

I finally realized that this so-called outing was just an excuse to have fun!

"Where are you going for the outing?"

"To the west coast, where it's reported to have developed a new project."

She showed me promotional pictures on her phone, showing houses built by the seaside that resembled igloos. "We'll be staying in there."

I got excited instantly.

"Alright. Then I'll gladly accompany you."

After chatting for a while, we found a nearby restaurant to have a meal and then drove her car to Sevan Art Academy!

Back then, I wanted to attend this college, but studying art was too expensive, so I ended up choosing a major that made it easier to find a job.

But it was all for nothing. I eventually chose marketing, which didn't require much in terms of qualifications.

Sevan Art Academy, known as the cradle of Sevan artists, had cultivated many great artists.

"My aunt is in the office. Let's go up."

I followed behind Lillian and saw many beautiful women along the way, each elegant and attractive.

No wonder there were so many luxury cars parked at the school gate. It seemed they were all here to pick up the girls.

At the office door, Lillian knocked, and a gentle female voice from inside said, "Please come in."

We walked in, and the office was spacious, about sixty to seventy square meters, with a plush carpet on the floor that seemed comfortable to walk on.

It was cool inside, with two large bookshelves on either side, one filled with books and the other adorned with various medals of all sizes.

The lowest were city-level awards, followed by provincial and national awards. The most impressive was the international awards displayed at the top, such as the Global Gold Dance Cup and the Silver Award from the Blackpool Dance Festival, won by someone named "Ruby Hill", which was Lillian's aunt's name, sounding fresh and elegant.

In the center was an enormous mahogany desk, and a stunning woman sat there. She was Ruby Hill.

Thirty-two years old, she was over ten years younger than Lillian's mother, but she looked like she was in her early twenties. Her skin was tender and full of collagen.

Yet, she looked quite commanding.

What a mature beauty!

Such an idea flashed through my mind.

She was wonderful.

When Lillian saw her, Ruby smiled slightly, almost stealing my soul.

I quickly averted my gaze and put on a natural smile.

"Lillian, here you are."

"Auntie Ruby, I brought John here."

Lillian went over and hugged her directly.

"Hello, Ruby, I'm John."

I greeted her quickly. Since Lillian called her auntie, maybe I could just call her by her name.

I handed over the lilies. "These are the flowers I specially picked for you."

Actually, I ordered them online. If I had known Lillian's aunt was so beautiful, I would have definitely chosen them in person. I would have been willing to give her all the lilies, no matter how many she wanted.

"You're so considerate."

Ruby stood up, took the flowers, and said, "Come on. Take a seat!"

She placed the flowers aside, took Lillian's hand, and led her to sit on the nearby sofa.

She had a perfect figure. Among the people I knew, she had the most balanced and pleasing appearance. But I didn't dare to stare at her. I took a glance and then sat obediently across from her.

Ruby looked me up and down with a gaze as if she was looking at her nephew-in-law.
