Chapter 231

I teased Katherine's entrance with my fingers, making her breathless and a bit annoyed.

She tried to push my hand away, but I stood firm like a rock.

Katherine bit her lip and shot me a warning look.

I wasn't scared and slowly slid my fingers inside her.

She felt uncomfortable and didn't dare to move.

The inside was so much better; the warmth was incomparable.

My fingers stirred wildly, causing her fluids to flow.

Katherine quickly reached orgasm, and I pulled my hand out.

She looked disappointed, and I gave a wicked smile, sniffing my fingers.

I know that post-orgasm smell!

Katherine was both embarrassed and angry, pinching my thigh hard.

Just then, Eloise played a sad tune on the piano, making me feel like a tragic character.

I was sure Katherine's desire was fully aroused. I whispered in her ear and then got up to leave.

I went to the bathroom, and when I came out, I saw a familiar figure washing hands.

"Ms. Foster, what are you doing here?" I asked, startled.

I had just looked around and didn't see her. Where did she come from?

"Are you the only one allowed here?" Linda retorted.

"No, no, I'm just surprised." I smiled. "Did you come alone?"

Linda looked beautiful without her glasses, as pretty as Katherine.

I sighed inwardly at Steven's luck. Most people would be lucky to have one beauty, but he had two!

"I came with the chairman," Linda smiled. "He's been observing you two from the second floor!"

I broke out in a cold sweat. No wonder I couldn't find her; she was in a private room upstairs.

What shocked me most was that Steven was also here, watching us.

It was so dark; he probably didn't see much.

I felt uneasy and regretted telling Katherine about my plans.

Linda said, "Look at you, so scared. It's after work hours; it's normal for colleagues to watch a performance together."

"Yes, you're right," I replied.

Linda left, but her look was strange, like she was plotting something.

While I was lost in thought, a voice brought me back. "John!"

That familiar voice made me look up suddenly, and I saw Lily looking at me angrily. "You should have messaged me when you arrived."

I felt helpless.

You said you weren't coming.

But then I remembered Eloise was her best friend, so of course, she would come. I was really out of it.

I quickly pulled her aside. "Wasn't I driving for Ms. Bailey? Who knew she wanted to come here? I only found out last minute, and you said you weren't coming. I was afraid you'd get mad if you saw me."

"Mad? I'm not that easily angered," Lily said.

"You're not just easily angered; you're very easily angered," I said. "Think about it, how many times have you lost your temper recently? I have a psychological shadow because of it."

Lily said a bit aggrieved, "It's because you neglect me."

I hugged her. "Sorry, once I'm done with this busy period, I'll make sure to spend time with you."

"Okay." She nodded.

I was a bit surprised; I didn't expect to calm her down so quickly this time.

"Do you have any plans after the performance?" Lily asked.

"I don't know; it depends on what Ms. Bailey says," I replied.

She looked a bit disappointed. "I was thinking of introducing you to my best friend."

I pretended not to know. "Which best friend?"

"Eloise, the one playing the piano on stage," she said.

Lily then added, "She wants to apologize to you in person."

I waved it off. "What's past is past. No need to apologize."

You gotta be tolerant when it comes to best friends.

I added, "Actually, thinking back, I had my faults too. I should've trusted you more."

Lily sighed, "I shouldn't have joked like that."

I patted her head. "Go back now; Ms. Bailey will be looking for me soon."

"Alright, I'll go," Lily said and hurried off.

Katherine still hadn't come out. Maybe it was better this way; I wouldn't know how to handle it if she did.

Just as I was about to head back, my phone rang. It was Jenny.

I quickly answered, and Jenny's voice came through, crying for help. "Troy, come save me..."

My heart jumped to my throat, and anger surged. "Where are you?"

"Hurry, I'm at Room 6 in Sevan City's Opera House. Joseph..."

The call cut off before she could finish.

What? How did she end up at the opera house too?

I was frantic, rushing up like a madman. Halfway there, I realized I was John, not Troy.

If I rushed up suddenly, she would know.

No, I can't let her know that Troy is John.

At least not now; I'm not ready yet.

Should I call security?

Would security dare to go up?

The people in those rooms are definitely big shots; they wouldn't dare.

What should I do? What should I do?

I was going crazy!

I forced myself to calm down, first putting my phone on silent, then making myself calm down, even though I was extremely angry!

I entered the hall, where the piano and symphony were deafening, no wonder that bastard Joseph dared to act recklessly; the loud music covered everything.

I went up the stairs to the second floor, trying to look composed. I told myself to be patient.

When I reached Room 6, I knocked on the door. No one answered, but I could vaguely hear a woman crying inside, and my mind exploded.

I was furious.

I took a deep breath and turned the doorknob, seeing Joseph pressing Jenny on the sofa, pulling at her clothes, which were already disheveled from her struggle.

In that instant, all my rationality burned away.

"Joseph, I won't let you get away with this!" I roared and rushed over, pulling him up.

"Who are you?" Seeing me ruin his fun, Joseph was furious and grabbed a teapot from the coffee table to smash it at me.

I dodged, and Jenny on the sofa gasped, "John, it's you!"

I didn't have time to talk, grabbing Joseph's hand and kicking him in the stomach.

He was tall but weak from indulgence, no match for me.

He fell to the ground, clutching his stomach in pain. I took off my jacket and covered Jenny with it. "Ms. Smith, are you okay?"

Jenny, though shaken, was still composed. "I'm fine."

She looked at me with a complicated expression. "You shouldn't be here."

My mind raced. "I'm still working as Ms. Bailey's driver, right? I came with her to the concert."

"I mean, why are you on the second floor?"

My heart pounded; she was suspicious.

I pulled out a hairband from my pocket. "I ran into Ms. Foster at the restroom entrance. She also came to the concert and dropped her hairband at the sink. I came to return it to her, but I didn't know which room she was in and accidentally found this one."

This explanation was perfect because the hairband in my hand was indeed Linda's.

"You're lying, John."

At that moment, she widened her eyes and raised her voice. "Watch out!"

But it was too late.

I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head, and the world spun. If Jenny hadn't caught me, I would have fallen.

"John!" Jenny called out.

"You bitch, is this your lover? Bitch!"

Joseph, holding a blood-stained ashtray, looked ferocious. He slapped Jenny across the face and then locked the door. "Bitch, you dare betray me and cheat on me? Today, I'll rape you in front of this bastard."
