"Hey everyone!" I greeted with a nod and a smile.
Aisling had already heard the news and stepped out of the secretary's office. She gave me a gentle look, and I said, "Aisling, can you let Ms. Walker and the others know to come to my office?"
"Sure thing, Mr. Cena!" Aisling swayed her hips as she walked away.
In just a couple of minutes, Marry rushed in with a few other women.
Mia, Holly, Aria, and some others were either on business trips or doing in-store training.
When Marry and Mia saw me, they looked like they wanted to eat me alive.
Their intense stares made me a bit uneasy.
"Alright, you're here. Take a seat. Holly, can you get some water?"
Holly obediently poured water.
"Thanks for holding down the fort while I was away."
"All for the company," Marry said, but her eyes were full of resentment.
Mia also gave me a look that screamed hidden resentment. She'd always wanted to hook up with me. We had plans before, but I had to rush off to Greenvale City last minute.
"I heard the company's been having some issues lately. What's going on? Can someone fill me in?"
They exchanged glances, and Marry spoke up, "I'll explain. First off, WY Media Company is facing retaliation from Skyliho Group, Skyliart Group, Stellar Media Network, and others! Distributors have cut ties, and even our new media side is taking hits. Someone's hired people to trash our streamers. Then there's VelocityMart. A venture capital firm made an offer, but we turned it down. Now, similar products have popped up in Sevan City. Plus, they've signed deals with major logistics companies and are teaming up to crush our logistics! We've got two options: keep pushing forward but speed things up. We need to establish a presence in Moonstone City. Our team's already doing research there. The second option is to accept their financing! Also, Dance Fusion Hall wants revenge. They've filed complaints with the business bureau, accusing us of arbitrary charges. And Ruyi Cosmetics, they've hired internet marketers to smear us, saying our products have too much heavy metal and will ruin your face!"
I thought, 'Is this just a little trouble? All subsidiaries under WY Media Company are under attack.'

"I told them not to," Marry said. "The Greenvale City branch is our best-performing and most stable company right now, so nothing can go wrong there. But it was wrong to keep it from you."

"No objections here!"
"None from me!"
Holly and Aria hung their heads in shame.
I warned, "This is the first and last time. If it happens again, you're out."
WY Media Company wasn't a small operation anymore. Including the Greenvale City branch, we had over a thousand employees now.
It was no exaggeration to say that WY Media Company was now a medium to large enterprise.
I thought, 'Running the company the same way as before is definitely gonna cause problems.'
Marry's face changed, and she lowered her head, saying, "It's my fault. It won't happen again."
I said, "Alright, let's talk solutions. They're attacking us; we can't just sit back."

I said, "With the Greenvale City branch backing us, we can ignore those guys," I thought, 'When I get the chance, I'll make sure to pay them back one by one!'
WY Media Company was now on par with them in terms of scale, and our overall strength wasn't lacking.
"What about VelocityMart?"
"Mr. Cena, since you have connections in Greenvale City, we want to start there. It's the national consumption center."
"And Moonstone City?"

I asked, "Did you visit the girl?"
"Yes, and we refunded the tuition fees. Savannah's opinion is that the parents didn't supervise the child properly, leading to the injury. We can offer a consolation payment, but not compensation."
I thought, 'It wasn't our fault. Refunding the tuition and giving a consolation payment is already very reasonable. If we compensate, it would be a different matter entirely.'
I asked, "Is there a better way to handle this?"
Dance Fusion Hall was now one of the biggest dance training institutions in Sevan City. Our reputation was established, making us an easy target.
A pending lawsuit would affect our brand.
Marry nodded. "We've signed an agreement with SafeGuard Insurance to provide accident insurance for every student!"
"That's a great idea."
This will not only reassure parents but also make the academy seem more legit.
"What about Ruyi Cosmetics?"
Marry said, "We're collecting evidence and have promised that if any issues arise from using our products, we will compensate and provide treatment. If not, we will sue. This is a common tactic. Almost all major beauty companies have faced such attacks. It shows that our products are selling well and making others jealous.
I asked, "How many sets have we sold so far?"
"About four million sets!"
