Chapter 302
My hand caressed her slender waist, her voice trembling slightly as I said, "Well done, I am very satisfied."
"I am glad to hear that!"
Her voice suddenly raised, then her legs went weak, almost kneeling down.
"Master, my clothes are soaked with sweat, can I change into a new outfit?"
I nodded. "Go ahead. Change to a Lolita outfit with white stockings!"
Kelsey nodded and started taking off her clothes.
After changing into the Lolita outfit, she gave off a fresh, pure feeling.
I pulled her into an embrace and gave her a few kisses. Then I held her, feeling a hint of pity in my heart, gently stroking her back, "I am happy, truly, to have met you; it's my fortune!"
Upon hearing this, her eyes lit up. Raising her head, she said in a manner that couldn't be expressed, "I belong to you not only in this lifetime but also in the next!"
Hearing her childish words, I suddenly felt sorry for her. She probably hadn't received love from her family for a long time.
I gently stroked her hair. "Life is long, you will meet better people in the future!"
It was just a sigh, but she reacted as if she had been stepped on the tail like a cat. Her face suddenly changed. "I don't want anyone else; I just want to be with you!"
I felt helpless.
To say it wasn't Kelsey would hurt her, but to say it was would be a lie. I wrestled with my conscience, finally deciding that honesty, however painful, was the best policy.
Kelsey deserved someone who could commit fully, someone who could offer her a future without reservations. Clinging to her, to all of them, felt selfish.
"Kelsey," I began, my voice heavy with guilt, "I'm involved with other women. More than one. And there's one I'm committed to marrying. Do you understand?"
Her reaction was immediate and heartbreaking. Tears welled up in her eyes, large and glistening like diamonds. I instantly regretted my clumsy confession, but it was too late to take it back.
"I know the truth will hurt you," I continued, trying to soften the blow. "Part of me wants to hold onto all of you, but that feels wrong, unfair. I can't, in good conscience, keep leading you on. It wouldn't be right to let you suffer because of my indecision. So, I think it's best if we don't see each other after today, okay?"
"Baby, you... you don't want me anymore?" Her voice was barely a whisper, choked with despair. She clutched my shirt, her grip surprisingly strong.
"Kelsey, I can't be that selfish," I pleaded, my heart aching for her.
"But what if I'm willing?" she cried, burying her face in my chest. "I'm willing to stay by your side, even if it's like this. Please don't shut me out."
Her words struck a chord within me. I was speechless, unsure how to respond.
"I have a part-time job," she continued, her voice desperate. "I can buy my own things. And after graduation, I'll get a real job. I won't be a burden, I promise." She looked up at me, her eyes filled with the vulnerability of a wounded animal.
My resolve crumbled. "Kelsey, you've never been a burden. You know that, right?"
"Then why are you pushing me away?"
I sighed, the weight of the situation pressing down on me. "Because I can't give you what you deserve. What you want."
She sat up straight, her expression resolute. "But you are giving me what I want. Right now."
"This is enough?" I asked, unconvinced.
"Yes!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with conviction. "I've never even thought about marriage, not seriously. My past, my family... it left me terrified of that kind of commitment."
Her confession, so raw and honest, filled me with a tenderness I hadn't expected. She was young, still carrying the scars of her past.
"I only love you," she whispered, her gaze unwavering.
That simple sentence, spoken with such heartfelt sincerity, shifted something within me. Kelsey, despite her youthful naivety, possessed a purity of heart that was both rare and captivating.
"If you still feel the same way after graduation," I promised, my voice firm, "I will spend my life cherishing and protecting you." I meant every word. She was precious, a bright light in a world that often felt too dark. I wouldn't let anyone, or anything, taint that.
"Just being needed by you... that's all the happiness I need," she murmured, her eyes shining with adoration.
The rest of the afternoon unfolded in a haze of tenderness and passion. As I held her, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was experiencing something profound, something that transcended mere physical intimacy.
When I left that evening, her legs still trembled slightly, a testament to the intensity of our encounter. But as tempted as I was, I knew it wasn't the right time to take things further.
Instead of going to Amelia's, I found myself drawn back to the solitude of my own apartment. I needed time to process, to untangle the complex web of emotions that Kelsey had stirred within me.
The next day arrived too quickly. It was the grand opening of Dance Fusion Hal, and despite the turmoil in my personal life, I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride.
The plaza outside HT Plaza was abuzz with activity. Flower arrangements lined the entrance, their vibrant colors a stark contrast to the sleek modern architecture of the building. Dozens of banners fluttered in the breeze, each one bearing congratulatory messages from some of the most influential businesses in Sevan City:
"MH Manufacturing Company congratulates Dance Fusion Hal"
"Walker Company congratulates Dance Fusion Hal"
"Sevan City Distillery congratulates Dance Fusion Hal"
"Winest Company congratulates Dance Fusion Hal"
The air thrummed with excitement. A stage had been erected, where a group of young dancers moved with effortless grace. Popular singers from Everlasting New Media and local Sevan City stars entertained the growing crowd.
Thanks to the combined efforts of our promotional partners, Dance Fusion Hal had become the talk of the town. The lineup of instructors we had assembled was nothing short of extraordinary: Sevan City's dance prodigy Ruby, the nationally acclaimed Sophia Roberts, and the esteemed Scarlett Foster, head of Sevan City University's dance department. To have secured even one of these renowned figures would have been a coup, but to have all three, along with a dozen other highly respected professionals, was practically unheard of.
It was no surprise that the studio was flooded with applications.
"Over 150 new students today!" Lucy exclaimed, her voice trembling with excitement.
With the existing students, our enrollment had skyrocketed to over 500. It was clear that our initial location wouldn't be enough for long. We needed to expedite the opening of the second studio, and begin scouting locations for a third.
"We did it," Lucy whispered, tears welling up in her eyes. "We actually did it."
I gently wiped away a stray tear. "This is just the beginning, Lucy. Wait until we have over a thousand students."
She sniffled, her expression resolute. "We'll surpass that today! Just you wait!"
"Seriously?" I was incredulous.
"You underestimate the draw of these instructors," she said, wiping her eyes. "We might even hit 1500!"
The thought was staggering. With courses starting at ten thousand dollars, we were looking at a potential revenue of nearly fifteen million dollars in a single day. The speed at which this venture was taking off was both exhilarating and terrifying.
