Chapter 391
Ruby said, "John, since you're doing okay, I'm thinking of heading back to Sevan City this afternoon."
I was caught off guard. "Did I mess up or something?"
I started to worry. Maybe I went overboard and made her uncomfortable?
It made sense. I thought, 'She's so sensitive, I can't be as rough as I am with Linda and the others.'
"Look, I won't touch you anymore. Just stay and hang out with me, alright?" I felt like a kid begging. Only with her could I really let my guard down.
She smiled. "Why are you acting like a child?"
"I don't care. I just want you to stay." I hugged her tight, pressing my head against her chest.
She gently stroked my head and said softly, "I snuck out this time. There's still a lot to do in Sevan City. How about this: if you don't go back, I'll sneak out to see you again in a few days, okay?"
I knew Ruby had put everything on hold to see me. She was not just any woman; she was the vice president of the Sevan City Art Institute, ran her own company, tought at Dance Fusion Hall, and had a ton of meetings.
"Alright then," I said. "but we have to do it one more time."
Ruby exclaimed, "No way, I can't handle it anymore. Please spare me. Next time, I'll do whatever you want, okay?"
"Alright, but you said it yourself. I didn't force you." I laughed.
She rolled her eyes at me. "You always tease me."
After some more cuddling, I took her to the airport. Watching Ruby leave, I felt a void in my heart.
Without realizing it, she had become really important to me.
When I got to Riverfront Estates, the construction team was already at it. They were using Lauren's designs. She'd be leading the team this afternoon.
That meant she'd be here until the project was done, which would take three or four days even for a partial renovation.
Just thinking about Lauren's sexy body got me excited.
At 3 PM, Lauren showed up with a team of fifteen people.
"Mr. Cena!" Lauren greeted me as soon as we met.
We had agreed not to act too close in front of others.
But her eyes were incredibly seductive. We hadn't hooked up in half a month, and I thought she must be really craving it this time.
Others also greeted, "Mr. Cena, hello!"
I nodded and said, "Thanks for all your hard work. I've booked rooms for you, and I'll host a welcome dinner later."
"Thank you, Mr. Cena!"
Since they needed to work, I booked eight suites for them near Riverfront Estates. It wasn't as fancy as the Sparkling Starlight Hotel, but it was still a three-star hotel.
Some of the construction workers never dreamed they'd stay in a star-rated hotel.
I said to them, "Rest up, and at six, we'll head to the Waldorf Astoria!"
The Waldorf Astoria was one of the top hotels in Greenvale City. The food was supposed to be amazing, though pricey. But the main reason was to treat Lauren; the others were just along for the ride.
I booked the best presidential suite for Lauren, costing $68,000 a night.
As soon as we entered the room, we embraced. Lauren's hot, full, and elastic body pressed against mine. "You sure know how to splurge. $68,000 a night. Aren't you afraid the vice president will scold you?"
I chuckled, "I paid for it myself. What's wrong with booking a presidential suite for you?"
Lauren looked at me seductively. "Don't get ahead of yourself. Where have you been for the past half month? Do you know how worried we were?"
You've tanned and slimmed down.
I shrugged it off. "Let's have sex."
Lauren said shyly, "Be gentle."
Lauren's body was insanely hot.
The feel and the view were out of this world. Sex with her was just too good to pass up.
Unlike Ruby, Lauren wasn't shy. We were totally in sync, no need to hold back.
Afterward, that empty feeling hit me again. No way we could go for round two today.
She panted. "How come after half a month, you're even better than before?"
I didn't say anything, just thought about those days on the island, diving for seafood every day. It was better than any gym workout.
Plus, I've been taking supplements. How could I not be strong?
I asked with a smile, "Do you like it?"
"Of course I do. The better you are, the happier I am, and naturally, the more I like it." Lauren never hid her love for sex. "Carry me to wash up."
In the bathroom, she complained, "It's all your fault. What if they see it later?"
I touched my nose and said, "Next time, I'll leave marks where they can't see."
After washing up, Lauren looked radiant. I thought, 'A woman who’s had good sex looks different.'
Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria was a hit. Everyone was satisfied.
But it was pricey, costing tens of thousands for a dozen people.
"Everyone, enjoy your evening. We'll start work at 7 AM tomorrow," Lauren said.
Everyone beamed with joy.
Then I took Lauren to Crystal Falls Sanctuary, bought her a bunch of stuff, and she accepted it all.
After dropping her back at the hotel, I headed to my apartment.
To save my energy, I went straight to my place in the north district. If I kept sleeping with Linda and Stella, I'd be dead soon.
I had a good night's sleep. The next morning, I went to check on Linda and Stella. Neither of them was happy to see me, but I put up with it.
"John, do you plan to keep us in the apartment forever?" Stella said irritably
Linda crossed her arms and said, "I don't want to live in an apartment!"
I sighed, "Where do you want to live then? How about I rent a villa?"
Renting a villa in Greenvale City costs one or two million dollars a year, which I can afford.
"Rent a villa?" Stella snorted, "Why not buy one?"
I smiled wryly. "Stella, do you know how expensive a villa in Greenvale City is?"
I thought, 'Even a random one costs thirty or forty million dollars. If it's bigger, it could be seventy or eighty million. With the money I have, I could only buy one house. But if I invest this money, I might be able to buy a villa soon.'
However, they were right. I couldn't keep them in an apartment forever; it was too inconvenient.
I said, "Alright, I'll rent a villa first. When we get back to Sevan City, I'll buy one, okay?"
Golden Sunset Estates, a villa there costs forty or fifty million dollars, which I can afford.
Stella said, "Deal!"
I nodded, and Linda's face looked much better.
After leaving the apartment, I took a cab to Riverfront Estates. Lauren and her team were already there, starting the renovation.
I reminded, "Someone will come for an interview later. Keep the noise down."
