After waiting for what felt like forever, she finally broke the silence, "You still sticking to what you said last time?"
"Absolutely!"
I was over the moon. She was finally on board.
"As long as you're in, the VP spot is yours. You call the shots on product production. Just keep the profits rolling, and you can run it however you want."
"I want twenty percent equity!"
She wasn't asking for shares, she wanted equity.
I thought for a sec, "Deal!"
She had this killer product with a secret formula, the backbone of the brand!
"I thought you'd never let it go."
"It's not about the equity, it's about you, Ms. Martinez!"
I grinned, "Knowledge and skills are priceless, and you've got 'em. Plus, you're all about integrity and principles. Can't wait to work with you!"
"I've got a lot of demands, you sure you can handle them?"
"Bring it on!"
I smiled, "I think I know your bottom line. My bottom line for the cosmetics line is safety first, so we're on the same page."
I jotted down her demands, snapped a pic, and sent it to Savannah Lee. Originally, Savannah was supposed to go with Aria, but since it was a hassle abroad, Aria had to find a foreign lawyer.
"We can get the contract sorted today, all according to your terms. Sound good?"
"Perfect!" Ella smiled, looking relieved.
"One more thing!"
"What's that?"
"You gotta attend one of my classes every week!"
That threw me off a bit.
I scratched my nose, chuckled, "Ms. Martinez, I've been out of school for over a year now."
"I know!" She winked.
"You do?" I asked.
"You didn't think I checked?"
Ella laughed, "Consider it payback for tricking me into meeting with you."
"Punishment? I think it's kinda fun."
If it meant Ella was in, I'd attend two classes if needed!
"You're quite the talker."
"Just doing my best."
Chatting with Ella, I felt our bond growing, more than just teacher and student.
Soon, Savannah sent over the contract. Ella reviewed it, and once she was satisfied, she signed it!
We made two copies, and after signing, I extended my hand, "Ms. Martinez, here's to a great partnership!"
She shook my hand, her soft grip was so nice, I almost didn't want to let go.
"How about dinner tonight?"
Ella thought for a moment, "Sure!"
"Cool, 7 o'clock at the Crystal Cove Club, sound good?"
"Perfect!"
Leaving Sevan City University, I was on cloud nine.
Seeing my excitement, Ava smiled, "Mr. Cena, what's got you so happy?"
I grinned, "Curious?"
She nodded.
I motioned her closer, "Come here, I'll tell you!"
She leaned in, and I kissed her right on the lips!
She gasped, letting me kiss her, breathing heavily before I let her go, "I've found a rockstar assistant for our company. Our cosmetics brand is about to take off!"
Ava, always by my side, knew what was bugging me, so she was thrilled too.
I shared the good news with Rita, who was also happy. But when she heard I gave equity to Ella, her tone shifted, "Why didn't you discuss such a big decision with me?"
I reassured her, "Chill, it's just twenty percent. I still got thirty-one percent. Besides, does it really matter who's the big boss?"
"Hold up, I'm booking a flight back now!"
I ran my hand over Ava's soft, smooth legs and said, "Seriously, it's no biggie."
"Wait till I get back!"
Hanging up, I couldn't help but laugh. Ava looked at me with those big, watery eyes, "Mr. Cena, where are we headed?"
"Home!"
The car pulled up at my apartment building, and I took Ava upstairs.
It was Ava's first time at my place, and she was in shock, "Mr. Cena, you live here?"
"Yep, surprised?"
"A bit. I thought you'd be in a mansion or something!"
I chuckled, "I wish, but the company's bleeding money right now. Maybe later!"
I thought to myself, 'Once the financing comes through at the end of the month, I'll be rolling in it. Mansion, here I come!'
While I was showering, Ava slipped in, startling me, "Ava, what are you doing here?"
"Mr. Cena, it's my duty...to please you." Ava blushed a bit.
I just shrugged and didn't say no, but all this action lately was wearing me out.
I finally got why those big shots always looked so drained. Getting busy every day is no joke...
Enjoying Ava's attention, it was pretty sweet.
I didn't hold back, letting Ava reach her peak with my hand.
After the shower, Ava helped me get dressed, tied my tie, and even did my hair while I just kicked back and relaxed.
The decision to keep her around was pure genius, "Ava, I don't think I can do without you."
Ava smiled, "Then I'll stay with you forever."
I shook my head, smiling, "I can't be that selfish."
Ava said, "Just being by your side is enough for me. I don't dare to ask for more."
I remembered what the two sisters said at the Sevan City Old Cellar headquarters, that their future was set the moment they arrived.
"Alright, stay with me. But if you and your sister ever want to leave, just let me know. I'll make sure you have a generous send-off."
Ava didn't say anything, just kissed my forehead.
After sorting everything out, I felt pretty damn good about myself.
At six-thirty, I got to the Sevan City Pearl Tower early.
I picked a window seat, pre-ordered a bouquet of roses, and shot a message to Ella.
She replied, [On my way, almost there.]
After checking her food preferences, I ordered a bottle of red wine.
Timing it just right, I waited by the elevator. At seven minutes past seven, the doors opened, and there was Ella, rocking a black evening gown and a rose-colored handbag.
She smiled when she saw me, and it was like the whole room lit up.
She was stunning, the dress showing off her killer figure.
"Ms. Martinez!"
I quickly reached out my hand.
"Hope I didn't keep you waiting." She extended her slender hand, and I gently held her fingers. As she stepped out, she naturally linked her arm with mine.
Not out of affection, just good manners.
Walking into the restaurant, we turned heads, Ella's beauty drawing all eyes.
In the private room, a waiter brought in a bouquet of roses, exactly ninety-nine.
I slipped him a tip, and he left, grinning.
"Ms. Martinez, these are for you!"
