Chapter 179 Her Husband's Last name Is Semona?
Nicole blinked and stared at Douglas' hand resting on Regina's lower abdomen, pondering for a while before she seemed to realize something.
"Alright, I get it," she said, lowering her eyes dejectedly. After saying this, she bit her lip and fell silent.
Leo's attention was immediately drawn to Nicole, and he asked, "Nicole, what did you mean by that? Have you been hurt by someone?"
No one really knew much about Nicole's love life.
Nicole was very popular among men. She was an outgoing and genuine lady, so she had many male friends around her, but she never seemed to have any scandals.
In high school, she had a brief relationship with the most handsome boy in their school.
However, their relationship was discovered by a teacher just before they did anything more than hold hands, and she was immediately asked to bring her parents to school.
Nicole didn't dare tell her family, so she called Douglas instead. Afterward, she begged Douglas not to tell Leo and the others, so to this day, Douglas still kept her secret.

Leo's words were cut off by Nicole, who frowned and said, "No."
She muttered to herself that she wouldn't pursue love anymore and didn't want it either.
After dinner, Regina and Douglas took a walk in the garden of Semona Estate.
Regina said, "Nicole seems to be in a bad mood."

"What happened?"
"She likes someone and has been chasing him for two years without success."

She smiled helplessly and said no more.
After a pleasant weekend, Regina was ready to start a new workweek.
Janet admired Regina's energetic and enthusiastic attitude towards work every day.
"Aren't you planning to take a vacation?" Janet couldn't help but ask Regina while pouring water.
"I plan to work for a few more months."
"Isn't your husband worried?" Janet had seen a thick book on childbirth and parenting on the president's desk several times, with many notes and markings, almost to the end.
Regina thought for a moment and said seriously, "He respects any decision I make. I know my limits and won't take any risks."
Janet admired every one of Regina's attitudes.
They chatted about work and other light topics before heading off in their separate directions.
Back in her office, Regina had just settled into her chair when her phone buzzed.
She checked the message and saw it was from Douglas: [Mrs. Semona, I called the bakery downstairs and ordered your favorite cheesecake. It should be arriving shortly.]
Regina was a bit puzzled at first, but before she could fully process the message, there was a knock at her office door.
"Is Regina here? Your husband ordered a cheesecake for you."
Regina was about to get up to retrieve the cake when Lucia moved faster.
Lucia took the cake from the delivery person with a curious glance.
"This cheesecake looks amazing! Could you possibly send another one exactly like this to me later?"
She complimented the cake, but her eyes were fixed on the order slip attached to it.
She thought, 'Since it is a delivery, the slip surely has the customer's name and phone number on it, right?
'The delivery person has mentioned that it was Regina's husband who placed the order.
'The name and number on the slip must be his!'
Lucia was intensely curious about Regina's older husband.
Eager to find out more, Lucia quickly scanned the order slip from top to bottom.
At the top of the slip, there was a note: [Pregnant woman, less sugar.]
She thought, 'Seems like the old man is quite thoughtful and romantic.'
Lucia frowned slightly as she continued to examine the slip. At the very bottom, she found the information she was most interested in.
