Chapter 729 Susan Keeps Her Word

Randall wanted to keep his cool and not come off as a player. Even though he felt all warm and fuzzy inside, he forced himself to say, "I was just being impulsive that night."

"Well, I don't care. You said it, and I agreed," Susan shot back. "I keep my promises. I said I'd be your girlfriend, and I meant it."

Randall glanced around, feeling like everyone was staring at them. He opened the passenger door, "Get in the car."

Susan happily slid into the familiar passenger seat, watching Randall drive, her heart swelling with happiness.

Randall got back in the car and looked at the grinning Susan, "You're like Teddy, always smiling like a goof."

"Randall, I missed you so much," Susan said straight up.

Randall tried to act annoyed but couldn't help the smile spreading across his face. "It's only been a few days, and you already missed me. Women are such trouble."

Susan replied, "Randall, I know you're not great with feelings, so I won't get mad."

Randall started the car and headed towards his place.

On the way, he asked, "How'd you get to school this morning when I wasn't home?"

"Vera and Patrick gave me a ride. I felt bad about it, so I planned to wake up earlier and take a cab. Randall, I even found a driver to wait for me at the door every morning."

Randall said, "There are so many drivers at home, can't they give you a ride?"

"No way," Susan said defiantly.

On the way, Susan mentioned, "Randall, I already told my parents that I insist on being with you. We can get married now."

Randall slammed on the brakes, stopping the car at a red light. Susan leaned forward, "What did you say?!"

Susan quickly sat back, looking at Randall with a blank expression, "I didn't say anything."

Randall wondered if he had misheard.

When the light turned green, he continued driving.

But Randall didn't expect that when they got to his place, Susan made a decision, "Randall, can I move in with you?"

Randall asked, "Susan, how badly do you want to marry me?"

Susan replied, "What? No, did I show that?"

Susan's idea of moving in with Randall reached her family.

Molly touched Susan's forehead and then her own, "No fever."

Cindy anxiously asked, "Susan, have you been to Randall's place? Where does he live? He never tells me."

Susan was about to say something but stopped when she heard Cindy's last question. She didn't want to reveal Randall's address.

Shawn was puzzled, "Susan, why do you want to move in with Randall?"

"Because no one cooks for Randall. He orders takeout every day, which is unhealthy and a waste of money," Susan said without thinking much. The first thing she checked was if there was a kitchen.

Molly subtly asked Susan, "Where will you sleep?"

"I'll get a room next to Randall's."

Molly found this too familiar. She had insisted on staying in a hotel with Sebastian, who got a room next door. It was the biggest trap of her life, leading to marriage!

"Listen to me, don't go."

Susan noticed Cindy and Shawn were worried about where Randall lived, and everyone seemed preoccupied. She felt embarrassed to continue the topic.

So, Susan sensibly kept quiet.

Later that evening, Molly didn't return to her bedroom. She parted ways with Sebastian in the hallway and went to Susan's room, "Sebastian, you're on your own tonight. I'm going to chat with Susan."

Sebastian was left behind again.

In Susan's room, Molly pulled up a chair and sat in front of Susan, "Susan, it's just us now. Tell me, are you just going to cook for Randall?"

Susan shook her head. "I also need to support him emotionally."

Molly was taken aback by Susan's response. Hearing her words, Molly didn't know what to say, "Do you realize that being so close might lead to things happening too soon, like, you know, marital relations?"

Molly, who used to talk freely about such topics before marriage, now stammered.

Susan laughed, not shy at all, "Molly, you're overthinking. Randall is so emotionally clueless, that he won't even enter my room. Plus, he's been trying to back out of our relationship lately, so he won't touch me.

I just want to see Randall every day because his startup and studies are tough. Life is dull, and I want to be there for him."

Compared to Susan's innocence, Molly felt a bit embarrassed.

After chatting for a while, it got late, and Molly returned to her room.

Sebastian asked, "Finally decided to come back?"

"Sebastian, have you corrupted me so much that my thoughts aren't pure anymore?"

Sebastian was speechless.

Molly, puzzled, called Vera at Cherry Villa, "Vera, are you awake?"

"Yeah, I'm playing with Teddy. What's up?"

Molly summarized the situation, "It's about Susan. She suddenly wants to move in with Randall, even getting a room next to his just to cook for him! Can you believe it?"

Vera, leaning against the headboard, was puzzled, "Susan is really that innocent?"

"Exactly. How can we let her move in with Randall? The Morales family entrusted Susan to us, and we have to be responsible. I don't know how to stop her." Molly looked at Sebastian, "Sebastian didn't help at all today. Usually, he's all about taking charge, but today, he said nothing."

Sebastian was speechless.

Vera suggested, "You should tell Cindy and our dad about Randall and Susan's relationship. The family probably doesn't know they're dating."

"Won't Randall be mad?"

Since she shared a bed with Patrick, Vera knew more than others, "Randall even called Ulysses, asking for a chance to give Susan a future. Why can't our family know? If needed, call Randall and have him tell the family himself."

Molly found this feasible and went to find Randall.

After hanging up, Vera looked at Teddy, who was still awake. She pushed him, making him roll onto the bed, "You stay up and wait for your dad. I'm going to sleep."
