Chapter 733 Susan's Emotional Intelligence Has Improved

They hung out at Randall's place until Teddy and Shawn woke up from their nap.

Vera got a call from Patrick, and since Molly wanted to see Sebastian, they decided to head out together.

Susan, on the other hand, didn't want to leave Randall. She made up an excuse, "Vera, we ordered way too much takeout for lunch. Randall can't finish it all by himself tonight, so I'll stay and help him eat."

Randall was at a loss for words.

Eventually, Randall waved them off, "I'll take Susan home tonight."

After they left, Randall turned to Teddy, asking to hold him again. This time, Teddy was more cooperative, raising his arms and leaning towards Randall.

Sure enough, after a good nap, Teddy was in a better mood and didn't cry when Randall kissed him.

Randall and Susan saw the others off, watching the car drive away. Susan happily clung to Randall's arm, sweetly asking, "Randall, am I bothering you by staying?"

"Even if you are, you're already here. How could I chase you away?" He turned back, letting Susan hang on his arm as they walked to the elevator. He used his car key to press the up button.

Susan was always charmed by Randall's small gestures.

"Randall, why did you use your car key?"

"I was planning to drive them, but when I got downstairs, I saw their car was already there."

Susan pouted, "Weren't you planning to take me out, but then realized it was too sunny outside?"

"What's so fun about going out all the time?"

Randall leaned lazily against the back wall of the elevator, exuding a casual elegance. He looked down at Susan's slender arm wrapped around his.

As someone entered the elevator, Susan instinctively moved closer to Randall.

Randall, who had always watched Susan chase after him, asked, "Why do you always like following me?"

"Because I'm your girlfriend."

"Even before you were my girlfriend, you liked following me."

Susan quickly replied, "But you also liked taking me everywhere."

Randall looked at her and smiled, nodding as he remembered.

Back at the hotel, Randall straightened the bed, "You can lie where Teddy was sleeping and take a nap. I'll clean up."

Susan washed her hands and headed straight for the dining table, "Randall, you study. I'll clean up."

Randall grabbed her wrist, "You didn't nap at noon. Go rest for a bit."

Susan suddenly seemed more emotionally intelligent, "Then kiss me. If you don't kiss me, I won't listen."

Randall flatly refused, "Don't even think about it."

He let go of her hand and went to organize his study materials.

Susan's eyes sparkled as she smiled and went to the dining table, tidying up the leftovers while sneaking a few bites with a fork.

Randall occasionally glanced at her, noticing that she had practically eaten another meal while cleaning up.

As he turned back to his online class, he covered his mouth to hide his smile. For some reason, seeing Susan eat with her cheeks puffed out made him feel very happy and amused.

With the two of them in the room, it didn't feel lonely at all.

Susan quietly went to the bathroom, wetting a towel to wipe the table, trying not to disturb Randall.

At the golf course,

Patrick got off the golf cart, ready to leave.

A companion laughed, "Mr. Olteran, got another appointment?"

Patrick handed his club to a staff member, "Time to head home and be with my wife and son. If I'm late, Vera will call me non-stop." He smiled as he spoke.

"Looks like Mrs. Olteran keeps you on a short leash."

Patrick nodded, his face lighting up with happiness, "Not just strict, but unreasonable too. If you try to reason with her, she'll argue, 'Am I living with reason or with you?'"

Even though he was talking about Vera's temper, Patrick's happiness was evident to everyone.

"When she gets mad, there's nothing you can do but indulge her. In a family, a woman's words are the law, but that law only applies at home."

As Patrick walked inside, Vera called.

Patrick answered with a smile, "I'll be home soon. What do you want to eat?"

"Patrick, we're out of watermelon at home."

Patrick chuckled, "Alright, I'll buy some on my way back."

Vera reminded him, "Get those small watermelons with white seeds. I want to scoop them out with a spoon. I don't want the big ones; they're heavy, have thick rinds, and hard seeds."

Patrick laughed indulgently, "Okay, I'll get you the small ones you can scoop out."

He reached the front desk and tapped it, "Car keys, please."

The receptionist quickly retrieved them for him.

After hanging up, Patrick and his friend walked out together.

"Mrs. Olteran has a craving?"

Patrick spoke fondly of his wife, "She has cravings and is picky. She won't eat big watermelons, only the small ones with white seeds."

Knowing Vera was visiting Randall, Patrick felt lonely at home, so he went out with friends. Now that Vera was home, he headed back too.

The warmth of home is the most addictive "drug" in the world.

Patrick spent the hot summer afternoon, over 90 degrees, searching the streets for a fruit store.

Meanwhile, Molly went to the police station, carrying a big bag of cold drinks. She handed out bottles to familiar faces as she walked.

At Sebastian's office, she placed the bag on the table, "Help yourselves, guys. I'm done handing them out."

She grabbed a bottle and went to Mr. Chase's office, knocking on the door, "Is Mr. Chase in? I need to report a crime."

Sebastian smiled at the sound, "Come in and report."

Molly opened the door, showing her face, "Mr. Chase, I just went to the supermarket and lost 46 dollars."

Sebastian took out his phone and transferred the money via Facebook, "Is it still lost?"

"Nope, Mr. Chase is amazing." Molly had cleverly gotten Sebastian to cover her shopping expenses.

Seeing Molly playfully interact with him, Sebastian's eyes never lost their smile, "How's Randall doing?" he asked.

Molly replied, "He's doing well. He's still a bit mischievous, but you can tell he's matured a lot."

Molly started complaining in Sebastian's office, "Sebastian, you have no idea. Susan and Randall are dating, but they don't show any affection. Randall doesn't hug Susan, and when Susan is tired, she just props her head up instead of leaning on Randall. Their relationship is so innocent.

Before we got married, you were always hugging and holding me. I used to kiss your face and hold you all the time."

Sebastian looked at Molly, who had moved closer, "When you guys are around, Susan and Randall have to maintain some decorum. Behind closed doors, you don't know how they interact.

Besides, when I used to hold you, it was only when we were alone."
