Chapter 760 The Child's Title and the Parents' Responsibility

At five o'clock, Teddy was back in his sweet dreams.

Vera lifted Teddy into the back seat, holding him close and said to her family, "Dad, Cindy, you don't need to see us off. We're just going abroad for a few days."

Teddy had learned to wave goodbye, and as Vera closed the car door, he started waving his little hand at his grandpa.

Vera said to Teddy, "Ever since you came along, I haven't sat in the front seat with your dad."

Teddy, being clever, immediately gave Vera a kiss in return.

At the airport, Teddy's mouth opened in surprise as he looked up at the grand airport, a sight he had never seen before.

Patrick held Teddy in one arm and pushed two rolling suitcases with the other, with Vera following behind.

Vera took out the family's documents from her bag and went straight to the business class counter.

Once inside, Teddy curiously twisted around, "Dad."

Every time Patrick heard Teddy call him, he felt the weight of responsibility on his shoulders grow heavier, and his love for Teddy deepened. "Why are you calling Dad again?"

"Daddy."

Seeing the curiosity in Teddy's eyes, Patrick's gaze softened with affection. "Curious about the airport, huh? From now on, whenever Dad goes on a business trip, I'll take you on a plane, okay?"

Vera received a call from Brianna, who had been thinking about Vera's family departure.

"Mom, our flight is at seven. Patrick and I just arrived at the airport. Tell Dad not to get drunk and call Noah, revealing our whereabouts."

Warren, who was next to Brianna, was displeased. "Do you think I'm that loose-lipped?"

Vera laughed, "I'm just worried about Dad getting drunk."

In the lounge, Vera immediately started gathering snacks from the airport, the kind Patrick usually didn't allow her to eat. But here, she felt free to indulge.

Vera munched on cookies and ice cream, and couldn't resist heading over to the food section.

Teddy, sitting down, couldn't find Vera after searching for a while, and his little mouth began to pout. Just then, Vera came over with a bowl of noodles.

"Patrick, I just got some noodles."

Teddy bent over, eyeing Vera's food, his hands itching to grab it.

Vera stirred the noodles, "Patrick, cover Teddy's eyes."

Patrick's large hand covered Teddy's face, blocking his view, and Teddy's hands waved around trying to remove Patrick's hand.

Vera quickly forked up some noodles and fed them to Patrick.

By the time Teddy could see again, Patrick had already taken a bite.

Vera turned her back to Teddy and took a bite herself.

At six o'clock, Randall called to ask, "What time is your flight? Send the flight info to the group."

Vera heard some noise on the other end, "Where are you?"

"I'm at the arcade," Randall replied.

Vera asked, "What are you doing there?"

Randall said, "I'm making up for lost time with Susan, we're on a date."

Vera didn't know what to say, "Randall, you should thank the heavens that Susan fell for you."

Even though Randall was making up for lost time with Susan, taking a girl to an arcade for a date? If a guy did that to Vera, she'd punch him!

But Randall thought it was romantic.

Susan, meanwhile, watched Randall play games the whole time, occasionally exchanging tokens.

She didn't understand the games; her only joy was the claw machine.

Other boyfriends would accompany their girlfriends at the claw machine, even if they couldn't win anything, it was still romantic.

After hanging up with Vera, Randall noticed Susan watching other couples, and his gaze followed hers.

Soon, he received a message from 'Married Girl' aka 'Girl Vera': On a date, the focus isn't on you playing, it's on letting the girl play! Randall.

Randall closed his phone, took Susan's hand, and went to the claw machine. Susan blinked, "Randall, what's up?"

Randall held the tokens, "Why didn't you tell me you wanted to play?"

"I saw you having fun."

"I'm happy because you're here. Normally, I wouldn't come to places like this," Randall confessed, with his unique charm.

Soon, Randall noticed other guys holding milkshakes for their girlfriends, with their girlfriends' bags slung over their shoulders. He only had coffee for Susan.

Randall said, "Susan, you play first, I'll be back soon."

Without waiting for Susan's response, Randall left.

Susan pouted, feeling down as she faced the game machine alone.

Outside, Randall called his second wingman, Molly.

"Aunt Molly."

Molly, just off work, thought she was hearing things, "Who is this?"

Randall said, "Stop pretending, it's me."

Molly was shocked, "You called me Aunt? Didn't you threaten me at lunch?"

Randall rubbed his temples, "You have more experience than Vera, teach me how to date."

Molly looked at Sebastian beside her, "Call Sebastian 'Uncle' and I'll have him teach you."

Randall said, "I brought Susan to the arcade, I don't know what she likes. She's just following me around. She's going home soon, and I want to spend a few days with her, making up for lost time."

Molly said, "Poor you, without Vera and me, what would you do?"

With that, Molly, feeling generous after being called Aunt and being a long-time friend, gave Randall some tips.

Sebastian, always noticing the little things, asked, "What did Randall threaten you with at lunch?"

Soon, Randall returned to find Susan hadn't played much and hadn't won any toys.

She continued to insert tokens, playing listlessly.

Randall stood behind Susan, remembering the advice, and slowly approached her. He placed his left hand over Susan's left hand, and his right hand wrapped around her, covering her right hand.

Susan's body tensed, her back stiffened, and she looked up at Randall, softly calling, "Randall?"

Randall, being tall, bent slightly, his Adam's apple above Susan's head, "Don't look at me. How many toys do you want today? I'll win them for you."

Randall's voice fell from above, and Susan could feel the warmth of his chest against her back. Her face turned red, not understanding why Randall was suddenly so attentive.

"How many?"

"Five."

Randall's lips curled with affection, "You really think I'm a magician."

After playing four or five times, Randall finally won two identical toys. But these two toys were more precious than all the toys in Susan's room.

"Randall, these two toys are a couple."
