Chapter 739 Molly with Low Abilities
Ellie regretted it now, but it was too late. They hadn't believed Molly back then.
They had forced her to marry Sebastian against her will.
When Sebastian returned home, his parents inexplicably gave him the cold shoulder. They wouldn't even speak to him.
Eventually, if Sebastian needed to say something, he had to relay it through Molly.
One evening, he sat on the edge of the bed, watching Molly study world history on her tablet.
If Ellie disliked him, it was definitely because Molly had said something to her, and then Ellie had said something to Timothy. That's why they always looked down on him.
But he didn't know what Molly had said to Ellie, so Sebastian deliberately took the long way around to sit by Molly's bed, giving her psychological pressure.
When people do something sneaky, they usually don't dare to get close to the person they wronged. Sebastian intentionally sat by Molly's bed, slipping his hands under the covers to press on her knees. "Why did you tell Mom about that? I got called in for a talk. Are you happy now?" As he spoke, his hands moved slowly up from her knees to her thighs.
Molly's heart raced. Sebastian had been talked to? Did he know and was now planning to settle the score?
"I didn't say anything wrong. We had no relationship before marriage. You forced me to marry you. I had to let Mom know I was a good girl before marriage and didn't do anything with you! So our parents wouldn't keep misunderstanding me."
Sebastian had tricked her again.
"Put down the tablet and go to sleep early tonight."
Molly glanced at the time. "Sebastian, it's an odd day today. It's not your night! If you want to sleep, you sleep. I'm not sleeping."
Sebastian snatched the tablet away. "You tattled on me behind my back, and you expect me to follow your odd-even rule?"
Molly immediately caved, trying to escape from the bed, but Sebastian got up, knelt on the bed, and pressed down on her back.
She didn't even make it off the bed before he pinned her down, her whole body sprawled on the bed.
Feeling Sebastian's familiar scent and the warmth of his chest, Molly's nightgown was lifted, and she felt his strength and dominance. "Sebastian, I won't tattle anymore," she quickly conceded.
Sebastian, with his well-trained muscles and strong grip, held her down, leaning close to her ear. "Molly, when you tattle, you should think about the consequences."
"Sebastian, my chest hurts from you pressing on it."
Sebastian propped himself up, flipped Molly over, and pressed down on her again. "Next time, think about the consequences before you tattle. Matters between a husband and wife should stay between them. Even parents are outsiders."
With that, Molly was in for a rough night.
The next day, Molly stormed off to find Ellie. "Mom, why did you tell Sebastian I tattled on him?"
Ellie looked innocent. "When did I say that? Neither your dad nor I said anything."
Molly suddenly remembered Sebastian's profession and was speechless.
So, last night was another trap!
"Sebastian!"
In the evening, when Sebastian came home, Molly insisted on sleeping in separate rooms. "I'm sleeping with Grandma tonight."
Zoey protested, "No way, I can't sleep on the second floor."
Molly suggested, "Then I'll sleep with Mom..."
"You wouldn't dare," Timothy warned.
"What's going on now?" the Chase family asked in unison, looking at the quarreling couple.
Molly pointed at Sebastian. "He hit me."
Sebastian was speechless.
The whole family looked at Sebastian, then back at Molly, not quite believing her.
"I tattled on him to Mom, and he didn't like it, so he hit me."
Ellie asked, "Where did he hit you?"
Molly replied, "Everywhere."
Ellie pressed, "Any evidence?"
Molly retorted, "He's a cop. Would he leave evidence? He did it on purpose, so I couldn't prove it. Anyway, if you don't let me sleep separately, I'll go back to my parents' house."
Before anyone could respond, Molly sat down and started "getting revenge." "Sebastian once worked on a case where a PhD guy secretly killed his wife, and the police couldn't find a breakthrough. Another case involved a doctor who drugged his wife and pushed her down the stairs to marry his mistress. And there were other cases... With so many murder cases, it's easy for him to hit me without leaving marks."
These were all the cases Sebastian had told Molly about to discourage her from marrying him. She remembered them all and was now using them against him.
The Chase family didn't believe her. That night, Molly was dragged back to the bedroom by Sebastian. "The PhD case has been sentenced. The doctor case has been executed. Now, let's count how many injuries you have. Take off your clothes and tell me where I hit you last night. We'll continue tonight."
Later, Sebastian angered Molly again. She was trying to study world history, but Sebastian kept interrupting her. She had been trying to finish one lesson for almost a week.
On top of that, Molly heard that the Olteran family had a baby, Teddy, who was recently weaned.
So, without consulting Sebastian, she drove to the Olteran family home.
Her driving skills had been approved by her parents. She often drove Ellie's car to the company and accompanied Ellie to medical checkups on weekends.
As soon as she arrived at the Olteran Manor, she heard Teddy's unique way of greeting.
The familiar crying was unmistakably Teddy's.
Molly pushed open the door, and Teddy, seeing her, started crying again.
He was sitting on a mat in the living room, surrounded by scattered ocean balls, with no playpen to confine him. Teddy didn't like being confined; he would cry if he was. So, they had removed the playpen.
Cindy was feeding him, Vincent was sitting nearby, and Susan was playing with the ocean balls to entertain Teddy.
"Cindy, Susan, what's wrong with Teddy?"
Susan turned around. "Molly, you're back." She explained, "Teddy was weaned and stayed here last night. He hasn't seen Patrick and Vera today and seems to miss them."
Molly knelt on the mat and picked up the sweaty, crying Teddy. "Hey there, buddy. Are you feeling sad?"
Molly held him. "I'll take you out to play."
With Molly's attention, Teddy finally stopped crying.
