Chapter 785 Make Your Face Look Like Teddy's

Sebastian had already cut enough meat for the stir-fry, but hearing Molly's comment, he chuckled and sliced off a bit more. "If you're full, I'll be full tonight too."

Molly suggested, "How about we go vegetarian for lunch today?"

Once the meal was ready, the couple, who had slept in, sat down in the dining room to eat.

Despite Molly's earlier insistence that Ellie shouldn't eat, she ended up grabbing a bowl and running to the living room to feed Ellie some meat.

Teddy woke up from his nap, unusually quiet, playing by himself in the crib for a while. He kicked off his thin blanket and could hear the family talking in the living room. Knowing his family was nearby, Teddy didn't cry or fuss, contentedly playing on his own.

Patrick, always concerned, would occasionally walk over to check on Teddy, making sure he wasn't too hot or cold.

He saw Teddy's little legs sticking out from the wooden crib, the blanket kicked off, leaving only his active little feet visible.

Patrick smiled softly and walked over to the crib, finding Teddy awake and chewing on his fingers.

Patrick leaned down, looking at Teddy.

Teddy looked up at Patrick with his chubby little face. The soft and adorable Teddy melted Patrick's tough exterior.

"Dad."

Everyone in the living room heard Teddy's voice and got up to see him.

When Patrick reached out to pick up Teddy, the little boy raised his arms excitedly, eager to be held.

"When did you wake up? You didn't even cry."

Cindy rushed over, as if Teddy had learned some amazing new skill, holding him and praising him for a long time. "Teddy, you don't cry when you wake up now? How about you sleep with me tonight?"

Vera went to make some formula, while Cindy continued chatting with the family, holding Teddy. After a while, Shawn, feeling sleepy, got up to take a nap.

Teddy drank his formula from the bottle, while Vincent played with his little feet and chatted with Patrick.

Life is often reflected in the everyday moments, ordinary yet warm and comforting.

Susan arrived at the Morales Manor, where her parents were already waiting at the door.

Randall got out of the car, carrying numerous gifts, some prepared by his parents and some he had bought himself. Susan didn't want Randall to spend money, but he said, "I've already bought them; the store won't take them back."

Susan had been nagging Randall the whole way, saying he didn't know how to manage money, save, or plan for emergencies.

Randall simply handed her his bank card.

Susan was speechless.

"The password is your birthdate. I'll deposit $3,000 every month, and there's already a few thousand dollars in there from my salary at the Olteran Group. Unless there's an emergency, I won't touch this card, okay? You manage it and plan for me."

Susan had been nagging for a long time, but Randall's bank card made her press her lips together and stop her complaints. "Randall, when did you get this card?"

"Last year, it's my salary card from the Olteran Group. Why?"

Susan pouted, "Why did you set the password to my birthdate?"

Randall was silent for a moment.

Then he explained, "When I got the card, they asked for a password, so I just entered something easy to remember."

Susan giggled to herself, then teased, "So Randall liked me since last year, huh?"

Randall pinched Susan's cheek, "Who gave you the confidence to think I liked you since last year?"

"You did, you did," Susan grabbed Randall's wrist, stopping him from pinching her cheek.

Scientists say that frequent pinching can make your face round. That's why babies have round, chubby cheeks; even though they're rarely pinched, they're often kissed, making their cheeks round.

Round faces are cute, but women often prefer a slim, beautiful face over cuteness. Susan wanted a slim, pretty face.

Randall, knowing her thoughts, scoffed, "I don't like skinny people. If you get too thin, I'll make you eat a whole pig, and you won't be able to find me until you finish it."

Susan pouted, "Randall, why are you so different from other boyfriends?"

Randall replied, "Are other boyfriends mass-produced in a factory? Why should they all be the same?"

Susan was speechless, once again left without a retort by Randall.

She couldn't understand why, after spending so much time with Molly, she hadn't learned any of her skills.

Randall handed Susan the bank card, but she stubbornly refused, "I won't take it."

Randall warned, "You dare."

Susan defiantly handed the card back to Randall, "Randall, it's your money, you manage it. We're just dating, not married, I won't manage your money."

Randall pulled over to the side of the road, pinching Susan's cheeks, "If you don't manage my money, I'll pinch your cheeks until they're chubby."

Then he mentioned Teddy, "Just like Teddy's chubby little cheeks at home!"

At the Olteran Manor, Teddy finished his milk and sneezed in the living room.

The whole family watched him sneeze, fascinated as if it were a new discovery.

After sneezing, Teddy scared himself and started crying.

Vincent quickly instructed the maid, "Is the air conditioning too low? Turn it up a bit, we don't want Teddy catching a cold."

The Olteran Manor living room became lively again.

Susan was forced to accept Randall's bank card, "Remember to transfer money next month. I'll download online banking to keep an eye on you."

Randall, satisfied, drove away.

When they arrived at the Morales Manor, the situation was different this time.

Last time, Randall was a guest at the Olteran Manor, and Susan was staying there, so the Morales family treated him with extra courtesy.

This time was different. He was the man who had won Susan's heart, and now it was his turn to be respectful and courteous to the Morales family.

They had planned to eat lunch on the way, but learned that the Morales family had been preparing a feast all morning to welcome Susan home.

Ulysses looked at the spread and commented, "This looks like a welcome for a son-in-law."

Sadie replied, "What son-in-law? Don't be ridiculous."

When they arrived at the Morales Manor, everyone knew what was going on.

At the dinner table, Susan said, "Mom, Dad, Randall is a great driver. He picks me up and drops me off every day."

Showing off his driving skills was just an excuse; she wanted her parents to know how well Randall treated her.

The table was quiet, with Ulysses asking questions and Randall answering.

Susan wanted to serve Randall some food, but in front of her parents, she cleverly served Ulysses first, then Sadie, and finally Randall. "Randall, you should eat this. It's my favorite dish, it's delicious."
