Chapter 134 'Dennis' Wants to Dig Up His Ancestor's Grave
Frederick was still scratching his head when his phone buzzed.
Hugo's smartwatch buzzed at the same time.
Father and son both glanced down, their faces shifting.
"I'm hitting the bathroom," Hugo said to Frederick, then bolted.
Frederick didn't think much of it and picked up the phone, "Yeah?"
The voice on the other end said, "Eric, we've got some leads on that mystery guy from last night!"
Frederick's brow furrowed.
The caller laid out the details, and the more Frederick listened, the darker his face got.
After hanging up, he lit a cigarette, looking grim.
Before he could finish his smoke, Nicholas showed up with a crowd.
A bunch of people, all looking pissed! Some were crying, others causing a scene, with faces full of anger and hurt.
Nicholas, looking furious, was being held up by his right-hand man.
Victoria was covering her mouth, crying and looking really upset.
Anna yelled, "Frederick, you've crossed the line! If you don't explain yourself in front of our ancestors today, I'll end it right here and haunt you forever! You'll never have a peaceful night again!"
Frederick frowned, "What's going on?"
"Don't act clueless! If you hadn't taught him, would your son dare to pull this crap? None of you are any good!"
Frederick's face darkened, and everyone shivered. Anna stopped yelling and started wailing.
Frederick ignored them and gave Elliot a look.
Elliot got the hint and quickly left to gather info.
Frederick flicked his cigarette ash and looked at Nicholas, "What happened to Dennis?"
Nicholas, still fuming, shouted, "How could you not know what Dennis did? Frederick, today is a big day for our family's memorial, and in front of our ancestors, you dare... you've gone too far! Look for yourself!"
Nicholas's right-hand man shakily handed over a tablet.
Frederick opened the video, and his face changed.
In the video, 'Dennis' was in a black tracksuit, kicking Anna in front of everyone!
Anna started cursing, and 'Dennis' balled up his little fists, rushed over, and sat on her, using a big leaf to grab some animal poop and shoved it into her mouth.
After stuffing it in, he wasn't satisfied and covered her mouth, making her swallow it! Then he got up and started beating her like crazy.
Victoria rushed over to help, but 'Dennis' swung his arm and knocked her down.
Victoria screamed as she fell, hitting a rock and breaking her two front teeth.
Nicholas angrily pounded his cane on the ground, shouting, "This is insane! Dennis, stop!"
'Dennis' furrowed his little brows, rushed over, grabbed Nicholas's cane, and snapped it in half right in front of him!
Nicholas gasped, almost fainting from anger. He shouted, "Scoundrel! Beat him! Teach him a lesson! This kid's lost it!"
The other Valdemar family members, hearing this, saw their chance and rushed at 'Dennis.'
Before they could reach him, he kicked over their ancestors' portraits and said, "I'm here for this old woman today, it has nothing to do with you! If you mess with me, I'll dig up your ancestors' graves, open their coffins, and drag their bodies out for a walk!"
Everyone stared at him, stunned.
"Don't believe me? Try me!" 'Dennis' taunted, kicking over more of the Valdemar family's ancestor portraits.
Victoria suddenly yelled, "Get Frederick here! Let him see what his precious son has done! They're even threatening to open the ancestors' coffins!"
Hearing that, 'Dennis' paused.
He ran over to Anna, warned her a few times, then like a little monkey, quickly darted down the mountain, disappearing from sight in minutes.
Frederick's face was a mix of emotions after watching the video.
Dennis had been with him just now, wearing a suit and a long black down jacket. When did he change clothes?
Elliot rushed over and whispered, "Eric, Dennis just made a big scene at the cemetery. Our guys said he looked really impressive and powerful!"
Frederick stayed silent.
He tossed the tablet to Elliot and headed towards the bathroom.
He had just seen Dennis go in there and hadn't seen him come out!
How did Dennis suddenly run to the cemetery and cause a scene?
Meanwhile, Justin had just finished explaining everything to Hugo in the bathroom.
He pursed his lips and looked at Hugo cautiously, "Hugo, did I mess things up? Did I ruin your and Mom's plan? I just couldn't stand seeing that old woman! I kept thinking about how she hired someone to hit Mom with a car."
Hugo had told him to stay out of it, but he couldn't hold back.
Isabella wasn't a fighter, and Hugo was just average, so he worried they would get bullied by the Valdemar family.
He wanted to secretly come and protect them!
Before Hugo and Isabella arrived, he had already snuck up the mountain.
But even he didn't expect to lose control as soon as he saw Anna.
After hearing her mock Dennis and Mom, he completely lost it!
"Hugo, I'm sorry," Justin said.
Hugo frowned, "You were wrong to come without telling me first. But I get why you did it. Just remember, never act on your own in situations like this again."
"Okay, but what do we do now? What about your and Mom's plan?" Justin asked.
"Don't worry, I have a Plan B."
"Plan B?"
"Yeah, I never go in unprepared."
Hugo was always meticulous, considering every possible scenario.
He didn't explain what Plan B was, just said, "Take off your coat. If you can't avoid Frederick and the Valdemar family's bodyguards, stay hidden in the bathroom and leave later.
If you're sure you won't get caught, leave early. Don't worry about me and Mom, I've got everything covered."
"Okay! Also, be careful, they have an ambush today and want to kill Dennis!" Justin warned.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
As Justin took off his clothes, he quickly explained his discovery to Hugo.
Hugo's face was full of shock and anger. "What a bunch of vicious people! Good thing Dennis didn't come, or it would've been too dangerous! Justin, lend me Blizzard; I need to teach them a lesson!"
"Okay, Blizzard, listen to big brother!"
Blizzard flicked its tongue at Justin as if responding, then slithered into Hugo's sleeve.
The two brothers were still talking when Frederick suddenly walked in. He called out, "Dennis!"
Hugo and Justin froze, both looking towards the door in shock.
