Chapter 175 Isabella is Particularly Fierce Tonight

"Hey! Get up!"

Isabella wanted him to go back to his place to sleep!

However, she used her mouth, hands, and feet, shouting, slapping, and kicking like a madwoman, but still couldn't wake him up.

The two of them are truly a contrast: one was in a frenzy, while the other remained very calm. The most Frederick did in response was frown, and that was it. Frederick didn't even twitch an eyelid.

Seeing that waking him up and sending him home was impossible, Isabella called Elliot and Douglas.

She hoped they could come and take him away!

However, it was those two who had 'conspired' to send him over, so there was no way they would answer her call! Elliot and Douglas both pretended to be unreachable. So Isabella couldn't get in touch with either Elliot or Douglas.

She only had contact information for Elliot and Douglas; she didn't know any of Frederick's other friends.

Thus, the idea of finding someone to take Frederick away was also a dead end.

It was too late to call Dennis, right?

Dennis was still a kid; how could he come to pick his father up?

After thinking it over, Isabella opened a ride-hailing app, hoping to get a driver to take him away.

But she waited for over an hour, and no one accepted the order! It was really strange!

Waiting like this wasn't a solution, so Isabella thought it over, gritted her teeth, and decided to take him back herself.

She ran home to change into sportswear and even tied her long hair into a ponytail.

After coming out, she rolled up her sleeves, grabbed one of Frederick's legs, and tried to drag him to the elevator.

However, she couldn't move him!

Giving up on dragging, she lifted one of his arms around her neck, trying to prop him up.

As expected, she couldn't lift him! She used all her strength but couldn't move him an inch.

Frederick might look slim, but he wasn't light at all. He was a fitness enthusiast, loved working out, and not only had a perfect body shape but also great muscles!

Plus, he was nearly 6 feet 2 inches tall. Did Isabella think she could move him? She didn't have that ability!

After sweating profusely and failing to get him into the elevator, Isabella had to ask the community security for help.

It was better to trouble others than to struggle herself.

The security guards knew Isabella and her three kids. As soon as they saw Frederick, they said, "Ms. Beniere, where are you taking the kids' dad so late at night?"

Isabella quickly retorted, "He's not the kids' dad! They just look alike."

"What? Really? They look too much alike! Who is he then?"

"Just someone unimportant. Please help me get him to the community gate. He's drunk, and I need to send him home."

Seeing that Isabella didn't want to reveal his identity, the two security guards didn't ask further and helped lift Frederick.

"Wow, he looks slim but is surprisingly heavy," they remarked.

With the help of the community security, she successfully got Frederick into a taxi.

She wanted to sit in the front seat, but the driver wasn't too happy about it, saying, "Miss, you'd better sit in the back. He's so drunk, I'm worried it won't be safe for him to sit alone in the back. And if he suddenly wants to vomit, you can take care of it."

Isabella was very reluctant but still sat in the back as the driver suggested.

As soon as the car started, Frederick slumped onto her. Isabella reflexively pushed him away hard! Then Frederick's head hit the car window.

The driver was startled. "Miss, is he okay?"

Isabella said boldly, "Don't worry, he won't die! Just focus on driving."

The driver suddenly felt that having her in the back was even less safe for the drunk man.

With bumps along the way, every turn or brake made Frederick unconsciously lean on Isabella.

Each time, Isabella would push him away fiercely, without any pity!

Frederick's head either hit the car window or the front seat, making the driver feel his pain, but Isabella didn't care.

Not to mention what happened six years ago, just tonight, being tormented by him in the middle of the night was annoying enough!

Don't even mention feeling sorry for him; she was exceptionally merciful not to seize the opportunity to give him a thorough beating!

When they arrived at Sunnyvale Community, Isabella gave the driver a generous tip to help get Frederick upstairs.

The community was full of Frederick's bodyguards, who watched from the shadows, sweating for the drunk Frederick as they saw Isabella's fierce demeanor.

"Mr. Valdemar won't be in trouble, right? Ms. Beniere looks a bit scary tonight."

"Should we go up and ask what's going on?"

"Who will go? Not me! I'd rather risk breaking into the Valdemar manor and stabbing Nicholas a few times than mess with Ms. Beniere right now."

The taxi driver felt the same way and quickly left after helping get Frederick to the door.

Tonight, Isabella was particularly fierce, with anger radiating from every strand of her hair!

As soon as the driver left, Isabella was ready to leave, too.

She left Frederick in the hallway without any further concern. She was only responsible for bringing him back, not for taking care of him!

However, just as she was about to leave, Dennis suddenly came out of the bedroom, uttering, "Mommy!"

Isabella was stunned for a moment and immediately softened as she asked, "Dennis, why are you up? Did the noise wake you?"

Dennis shook his head, looking worriedly at Frederick lying on the floor.

Isabella explained, "He's fine, just drunk. You weren't woken up; have you been awake all this time?"

Dennis nodded.

Tonight, Isabella had been so upset by Frederick that she cried, making Dennis very worried.

He was worried that Frederick wouldn't be able to comfort Isabella and that she would remain upset, so Dennis couldn't sleep.

Isabella quickly stepped over Frederick, walked to Dennis, squatted down, and asked, "Why aren't you sleeping? Is something on your mind?"

Dennis frowned, answering, "I heard Daddy made you cry tonight."

"How did you know? Did Hugo and the others tell you?"

"Yes."

"Is that why you couldn't sleep?"

"Yes."

Isabella's heart softened, and she hugged Dennis.

Although Dennis wasn't her biological child, their bond was real.

She cared about Dennis, and Dennis cared about her, too.

"Dennis, thank you for worrying about me, but I'm fine now. The issue between your dad and me is resolved, so don't worry," said Isabella.

"Are you still upset?"

Isabella replied with a smile, "Not anymore. With you all caring about me, I'm happy."

Seeing her genuine smile, Dennis was finally relieved and said with a stern face, "If he bullies you again, come to me. I'll stand up for you!"

Isabella was deeply moved and hugged Dennis tightly, uttering, "Dennis, you're so good to me. I'm so happy to know you."

Isabella's sudden confession left Dennis a bit flustered.

After hesitating for a while, he gently patted Isabella and said, "I'll be even better to you in the future, always good to you!"

Meanwhile, Frederick's stomach was churning, feeling very uncomfortable.

He had drunk so much tonight.

Now his stomach felt like it was on fire, and he wanted to throw up.
