Chapter 152 Frederick is Jealous!
Half an hour later, Frederick and Isabella arrived at the amusement park with Dennis.
For safety reasons, Frederick had booked the entire park.
At this moment, besides the staff, they were the only three visitors in the park.
Looking at the cartoon characters and colorful castles, Isabella asked Dennis, "Dennis, are you happy?"
Dennis asked back, "Are you happy?"
"Yes, very happy!" Isabella answered.
"Then I'm happy too."
Frederick was speechless. Did it mean that if Isabella wasn't happy, he wouldn't be happy either?
What if I’m not happy?
Not sure where the emotion came from, Frederick said, "I'm not very happy."
Isabella and Dennis both looked at him.
Isabella frowned and glared at him in confusion, while Dennis calmly said, "If you're not happy, you don't have to follow us. Go find some peace alone."
Frederick was speechless.
Isabella then looked at Dennis and said, "Dennis, shall we go on the roller coaster?"
Dennis nodded repeatedly.
The two of them held hands and happily ran towards the roller coaster, leaving Frederick standing there, feeling bewildered.
He looked at their backs with a complex expression.
It felt like Dennis had been taken away by someone.
Dennis used to rely on and love him the most, but now he seemed to love Isabella more.
When he said he wasn't happy, Dennis didn't show any concern, just told him to find some peace alone.
Can love transfer?
For the first time in his life, Frederick felt jealous!
The roller coaster was just ahead. Since it was a ride that adults could also enjoy, it was much more thrilling than those meant only for children.
Isabella asked Dennis again, "Dennis, do you dare to ride it?"
Dennis asked her back, "Mommy, dare you, to ride it?"
Isabella hesitated for a moment, saying, "I haven't ridden it much, but if you want to, I can accompany you."
Dennis exclaimed excitedly, "Yes, let's ride together."
Isabella nodded happily, "Okay."
But it didn't take long for her to stop smiling.
Isabella was naturally timid, and the roller coaster was incredibly fast and thrilling, scaring her so much that she couldn't stop herself from screaming.
Frederick heard her and looked over with a dark expression.
The roller coaster was rushing down from the top, and Isabella's hair was blown into a mess by the wind. She looked like a madwoman, screaming wildly.
Frederick pressed his lips tightly together, feeling extremely disdainful.
How could such a silly, clumsy, and crazy woman be worthy of Dennis's love?
And Dennis, not only loved her but loved her deeply!
He sat next to Isabella, holding her hand tightly and comforting her, "Don't be afraid, I'm here!"
Whenever Dennis was with Isabella, he turned from cold to considerate.
After a while, Hugo and Justin also arrived.
Both of them were wearing masks, walking along the amusement park wall towards the main entrance.
But before they reached the entrance, they noticed something unusual.
Justin curiously asked, "Why are there no visitors inside? The weather is pretty good today. Isn't anyone coming out to play?"
Hugo guessed accurately, "Frederick probably booked the park for Dennis's safety."
"Booked the park? Then how do we get in?" Justin inquired worriedly.
"Let's wait and see," Hugo said calmly.
As soon as Hugo finished speaking, Justin suddenly turned his head to look into a corner!
His little eyebrows furrowed, full of vigilance.
Hugo quickly asked, "What's wrong?"
"We're being followed."
Hugo also became alert as he questioned, "Are you sure they're following us?"
"Yes, he is furtive and has malicious intentions. Hugo, you go find Dennis first, and I'll join you later. Let me deal with this stalker."
"Okay, be careful."
"Don't worry, no one can hurt me."
After saying that, Justin turned and ran towards the corner.
Hugo knew Justin's skills, so he wasn't worried about Justin getting into trouble. After Justin's figure disappeared, he continued walking towards the entrance of the amusement park.
At the entrance, the guard informed him that the park was booked and he couldn't enter.
Hugo was still thinking of a way when he saw Elliot getting out of a car and walking towards them.
Hugo squinted slightly and took off his mask.
Elliot was surprised to see him and walked over quickly, "Dennis, why are you outside the amusement park?"
Hugo said, "I came out through a side door and can't get back in."
Elliot picked him up, offered a brief explanation to the doorman, and carried Hugo inside.
Hugo used the excuse of going to the restroom to get away from Elliot. After looking at the amusement park map for a while, he found a secluded corner and contacted Dennis.
Hugo: [Dennis, I'm here. Find a way to get away from Daddy and Mommy. Let's meet at restroom number 2 in area B.]
This restroom was the most hidden.
After receiving the message, Dennis's dark eyes rolled around. He said to Frederick, "Daddy, I want some cotton candy."
Frederick was stunned for a moment and pointed to the cotton candy stand, asking, "That one?"
"Yes, get one for Mommy too, a pretty one."
Although Frederick was reluctant, he still went to buy it.
After sending Frederick away, Dennis said to Isabella, "Mommy, I need to go to the restroom."
Isabella said softly, "Do you want me to go with you?"
"No, I can go by myself. You wait here for me."
"Okay, go ahead."
Since Frederick had booked the park, Isabella wasn't worried about Dennis having an accident and let him go to the restroom by himself.
Hugo was already waiting in the restroom. Seeing Dennis, he was very excited. He uttered happily, "Dennis!"
Dennis clenched his little fists tightly, even more nervous than Hugo. His lips moved for a long time, not knowing what to call him.
Hugo took the initiative to hug him, as he said, "We're so lucky to be real brothers!"
Dennis, being naturally cold and not good with words, clumsily nodded. "Yes!"
Seeing his nervousness, Hugo smiled gently. He stated, "Since you joined the family last, if you don't mind, you can be the fourth. You can just call me Hugo."
Dennis's lips moved, uttering, "Hugo."
Hugo hugged him again, very excited to have gained such a big brother for no reason. Hugo was very happy.
Dennis asked, "Where are Justin and Paul?"
Hugo replied, "Paul is still in kindergarten. He has to cover for me and Justin. You'll see him next time. Justin came with me, but he encountered something just now and is dealing with it outside. He'll contact us once he's done."
Dennis quickly asked, "What happened? Do you need my help?"
Hugo answered calmly, "No need, Justin is very capable. You don't have to worry about him."
Then he continued, "By the way, they asked me to tell you that they're very happy you're our real brother! And welcome to our family! We are a real family, and we will love each other and never be separated again!"
After hearing the words, Dennis's nose tingled, his eyes turned red, and he was moved to tears.
Over the years, besides Daddy Frederick loving him, other relatives had wished for his demise.
The Valdemar family was big and had many people, but none truly loved him. He often felt lonely and didn't know what family was.
Now, he was no longer lonely! He had brothers, a mommy who, apart from his daddy, truly and sincerely loved him!
