Chapter 202 Daddy Is Driving Me Crazy!

If Isabella is indeed Dennis's mother, that would be a happy ending for everyone!

Dennis likes her, and since she is divorced and single, he can pursue her openly without any reservations!

But if Isabella isn't, he won't develop any feelings for her until he finds Dennis's mother.

He will wait for Dennis's mother, and only if she doesn't want him will he consider being with another woman.

He had just agreed to let Dennis pursue Isabella in a muddled state, just to make Dennis happy.

His main task now is to determine whether Isabella is Dennis's mother.

Before Elijah's test results came out, he was 100% sure, but now he has 1% doubt in his heart.

So he must do another paternity test! Of course, this time he can't collect samples openly like before; he has to do it secretly.

He also won't treat Isabella the same way he did a few days ago, as he can't be 100% sure she is the one!

"Daddy!" Uttering, Dennis had already walked up to him.

Frederick pulled his thoughts back and sorted out what to do next, feeling much better.

He smiled lovingly at Dennis and picked him up, saying, "I will come back as soon as you call me. Why did you come out to find me?"

Dennis said, "I have something to tell you, Daddy."

Frederick squinted slightly, speaking, "Haven't you finished talking?"

"Yes, but I'm afraid you'll forget."

Frederick smiled indulgently, "I won't. I promise you, I will do it."

Isn't it just pursuing Isabella? His heart might not be in it, but he can act the part.

As the father and son walked and chatted, Dennis breathed a sigh of relief and suddenly asked anxiously, "Daddy, do you know how to pursue a girl?"

"Dennis wants to teach me?"

Dennis frowned as he responded, "I'm a kid, I don't know how! I don't need to know, but you must. If you don't, how will you pursue Mommy?"

Frederick said, "I'll ask Douglas for advice another day."

"No way! He's a playboy, you can't learn from him!"

Frederick couldn't help but laugh. If Douglas heard Dennis's evaluation of him, he would be embarrassed.

"Then I'll study it myself and see how to win a girl's heart," said Frederick.

"Yeah! Go for it, Daddy!"

Looking at Dennis's bright eyes, Frederick felt a lot.

No matter what, Isabella's influence on Dennis is indeed significant. When she was about to leave, Dennis almost fell seriously ill. When she stayed, Dennis immediately became happy.

Looking at Dennis's current state, he doesn't seem like a child with psychological issues at all.

How ardently he wished that his Dennis could always be like this!

In the hospital room, Isabella was in the kitchen serving porridge.

Dennis had just woken up and couldn't eat anything too greasy or hard to digest, so she made oatmeal porridge.

As soon as the father and son returned to the room, Dennis gave Frederick a look, signaling him to help in the kitchen.

Frederick instinctively glanced at Isabella, only seeing her back.

He hesitated for two seconds but still followed Dennis's instructions, put Dennis down, took off his coat, threw it on the sofa, rolled up his sleeves, and walked to the kitchen.

Isabella had just served a bowl of porridge and was about to take it out when Frederick's voice came from behind, "Let me do it."

Isabella was so startled that she almost dropped the bowl, but fortunately, Frederick caught it quickly!

However, the porridge still splashed on her hand, causing her to hiss in pain.

Frederick held the bowl in one hand and quickly grabbed a tissue with the other to wipe her hands.

Isabella glanced at him awkwardly, took the tissue, and said, "Thank you, I'll do it myself."

Frederick also felt a bit awkward, handed her the tissue, and took the porridge out.

After all, not long ago, they were at each other's throats over the paternity test, and now they were suddenly being polite, which was awkward.

However, they were both educated by Dennis! Whoever turns hostile first would be letting Dennis down, so they suddenly became 'harmonious'.

But this fake harmony was all for Dennis to see. In reality, both of them had their agendas.

At Dennis's request, Isabella also made a bowl for Frederick.

Three people with three bowls of porridge, sitting around a table, looking very harmonious.

During the meal, Dennis kept praising Isabella's porridge, not only praising it himself but also 'forcing' Frederick to praise it.

"Daddy, is Mommy's porridge delicious?" Dennis threw a question at Frederick and gave him a warning look.

It's just a bowl of oatmeal porridge; no matter how good the cooking skills are, can it be that special? Isn't oatmeal porridge all the same?

Frederick thought this in his heart but said, "Very delicious!"

Dennis smiled with satisfaction and turned to Isabella, saying, "Mommy, Daddy said your porridge is delicious."

Isabella thought, 'I don't care.'

But she looked up and smiled, uttering, "If it's delicious, have some more. There's more in the pot."

Both of them lowered their heads and pursed their lips.

Suddenly, the small dining room became quiet again. After a while, Frederick felt a kick on his leg. Dennis had kicked him under the table.

Frederick looked up suspiciously at Dennis. Dennis frowned and gave him a look.

Frederick was confused and asked with his eyes, 'What?'

Isabella was sitting at the table, so Dennis couldn't speak directly and could only give him looks.

Frederick still didn't get it, making Dennis's face turn red with anger.

After the meal, Isabella went to the kitchen to clean up, and Dennis immediately grabbed Frederick to lecture him, "Daddy, you're the one pursuing Mommy, not me. Can you be a bit more perceptive? Don't always make me remind you!"

Frederick thought, 'Although it's not you pursuing, it's you who asked for it,' but he couldn't say. So he asked, "What were you reminding me of just now?"

"I was reminding you to find a topic to chat with Mommy about. Girls like sweet talk. If you don't even talk, how can you make Mommy happy? You need to say nicer things to Mommy. Mommy is silly and easy to please."

Frederick, "Okay, I got it."

He said and went to sit on the sofa, but Dennis pulled him back. He said, "You can't just know what to say; you also need to know what to do! Saying a lot is not as good as taking action. Go help Mommy!"

Under Dennis's watchful eyes, Frederick reluctantly went into the kitchen.

Isabella was washing dishes and immediately said when she saw him come in, "You can go out; I don't need your help."

Why did he come in? He was in the way.

Frederick replied coldly, "Dennis asked me to come in and help."

The implication was, it's not that I didn't want to come in, but Dennis asked me to.

Isabella pouted and didn't respond, continuing to wash the dishes.

Frederick didn't look at her much either, picking up a cloth to clean the counter.

In Dennis's eyes, outside, this was a very harmonious scene, but the two people involved were both feeling awkward.

At this moment, both were thinking about their plans.

Frederick was thinking about how to secretly take her sample for a paternity test with Dennis.

Isabella was thinking about when she could successfully take Dennis away from him, leave Frederick behind, and take her family of five to a happy life!

After a while, Elijah came and mentioned Dennis's discharge in the afternoon.

Because Dennis hated the hospital and refused to stay as soon as he woke up, he would be discharged this afternoon.

Mentioning the discharge, Isabella had other thoughts in her mind.
