Chapter 155 Resprct
Dennis heard the conversation and felt a bit worried. He asked, "Is it okay for Justin to pretend to be me and go home with Daddy?"
It didn't seem very feasible, but there was no better option.
Hugo didn't want Dennis to worry and comforted him, "It'll be fine, don't worry. But since Justin went with Frederick, you'll have to come back to preschool with me. Can you do that?"
After all, Dennis had psychological issues and had hardly interacted with strangers, so Hugo was a bit concerned.
Dennis furrowed his little brows tightly, uttering, "Yes! I won't hold you back."
Hugo's eyes were full of affection as he promised, "I'll take care of you. When we get to preschool, if you don't want to talk, just stay silent. I'll cover for you. Plus, you can get to know our daily life. Let's go, before Mommy finds out, we'll sneak out and go back to preschool."
"Okay! But if Justin went with Daddy and we leave too, what about Mommy?" Dennis asked worriedly.
"Don't worry, Mommy is an adult; she'll get home by herself."
"Okay!"
Dennis and Hugo left, feeling both anxious and nervous.
This was the first time Dennis had left Frederick's sight and approached a group of strangers on his own.
At the same time, he was full of anticipation, eager to learn more about the daily life of his brothers and Mommy!
Soon, Hugo took Justin out of the playground and back to preschool.
As soon as they reached the classroom door, they saw the teacher.
The teacher looked a bit worried when she saw them, "Hugo, Justin, why did you take so long in the restroom? Are your tummies feeling uncomfortable?"
Dennis was nervous, furrowing his little brows and looking at the female teacher with a serious, wary, and distant expression!
Hugo quietly nudged him, signaling him not to be nervous, and then said to the teacher, "We had a bit of diarrhea, but we're fine now."
"Did you eat something bad?"
"Yes."
The female teacher suddenly looked at Dennis, saying, "I remember Justin wasn't wearing these clothes when he came in."
Dennis's little heart skipped a beat, and he got even more nervous!
Hugo, however, remained calm: "He wet his pants earlier and changed into his spare clothes."
Preschoolers usually have a spare set of clothes in their backpacks since they often get dirty or have accidents.
So the teacher didn't suspect anything.
Seeing Dennis so nervous, she thought it was because he was embarrassed about wetting his pants and smiled, uttering, "It's not embarrassing for kids to wet their pants. Just be more careful next time. Hurry back to the classroom; it's almost time for snacks and then dismissal. By the way, next time you need to use the bathroom, you don't have to go outside; there's one in our classroom."
Most preschool classrooms have attached bathrooms.
Hugo said, "The bathroom in the classroom doesn't have a private door, and I don't like that."
This was true. Since starting preschool, Hugo had never used the classroom bathroom; he always went to the one outside.
Justin and Paul weren't as particular.
The teacher didn't think much of it and laughed, "Hugo, you're so shy at such a young age. Alright, hurry back to the classroom."
"Okay, goodbye."
After fooling the teacher, Hugo led Dennis to the classroom.
Dennis took deep breaths, feeling very nervous about being so close to strangers for the first time.
Luckily, Hugo was there; otherwise, he wouldn't have known how to handle it.
Dennis sneaked a glance at Hugo, full of admiration! Because he couldn't do it himself, he thought Hugo was amazing for chatting so easily with the teacher! No wonder he's his big brother!
Hugo was his role model, and he wanted to learn from Hugo!
"Justin!" A sudden angry shout came from nearby.
Dennis had just reached the classroom door, and his heart skipped a beat.
A little girl with a ponytail was glaring at him angrily, her eyes red as if she had just cried.
Dennis immediately furrowed his brows again!
He looked warily at the little girl and then at Hugo, "Who is she?"
Hugo sighed and shook his head, saying, "Justin's good friend."
The little girl, seeing him not speak, got even more teary-eyed. She yelled, "Justin, you're a big liar! You said I was your only good friend, so why do others also say they're your good friends?"
Another little girl, also with red eyes, said, "Justin, am I your good friend or not?"
Dennis had never encountered such a situation before. He furrowed his brows and kept a stern little face, unable to say a word.
When he got serious, he was like a mini version of Frederick, with a cold aura that scared the little girls into crying. The whole classroom was filled with their wailing.
Dennis instinctively clenched his fists, his face growing colder.
The little girls' cries grew louder.
Dennis had no choice but to seek Hugo's help again.
"Don't worry, I'll handle it," Hugo whispered and led Dennis to their seats, then said to the little girls, "Stop crying. Justin is in a bad mood today. Let him be."
The little girls immediately stopped crying and asked with concern, "What's wrong with him?"
"He wet his pants."
"What!" The little girls were shocked.
If it were any other kid who wet their pants, they would be laughed at, but not Justin. He would only be comforted.
After all, he was a sunny, handsome, and cheerful boy who was very popular with the girls.
The little girls stopped crying and ran over to comfort him, "Justin, don't be sad. My mommy said all kids wet their pants. Even our teacher and parents did when they were little."
"Yeah, my parents even pooped their pants!"
"My parents even drank pee!"
"My dad used to play with poop!"
"My dad even ate poop when he was little!"
To comfort Justin, they started talking nonsense.
Dennis was shocked by their words, his expression very complicated.
It wasn't until Hugo dispersed the little girls that he couldn't help but ask, "Do they all like Justin?"
"Yes, Justin makes them happy, stands up for them, and even gives them gifts," said Hugo.
"Does Justin like playing with little girls?"
"Justin always wanted a little sister, but we don't have one, so he treats all the girls in the class as his sisters."
Dennis pursed his lips.
Hugo was curious, asking, "Don't you like little girls?"
"No!"
"Why?"
Dennis's little face darkened, his brows furrowing just like Frederick's. He uttered, "Troublesome!"
