Mother of the Moon - Chapter 107 - Traitor

Zelena.

I snickered and pressed my lips to his hard chest. I roamed the intoxicating flesh of his chest, leaving a trail of small hickys and kisses in my wake. Moving my lips down slightly to the rippling muscles of his six pack, I traced each outline with a swish of my tongue. Gunner's breaths were slow and deep, his chest heaving with each intake of air. Yet he didn’t move. After undoing his pants, I pushed them down slightly until they dropped to the floor.
A low growl rumbled through his chest as my hands ducked under his boxer briefs, squeezing the firmness of his glorious ass. I slid his underwear down his hips until his erect dick sprung free, slapping against his stomach. I lowered myself to my knees and let my tongue brush against the base of his dick before I sat back.
“You’re being very naughty” he grumbled with his head tilted back. His hands gripped the edge of his desk so tight that his knuckles were turning white. I wrapped my small hand around his shaft and licked at the small bead of precum that had escaped.
“I suppose I should stop then” I teased, blinking up at him through my lashes. He snapped his eyes down to mind and grabbed the wrist of my hand that was holding his throbbing member.
“Don’t you dare” he growled. His breathing quickened and I could feel the heat radiating from his skin. I smiled back at him and licked my bottom lip. His eyes widened before growing dark, finally realising that I was just playing with him. He released my wrist and twisted his fingers through my hair, another growl shook his chest. Keeping my eyes on his, I leaned forward and dragged my tongue from the base of his dick to the tip. I opened my lips and slid them down his shaft, hollowing my cheeks and massaging my tongue against him.
“Holy fuck” Gunner moaned tossing his head back again. I fought against my smile and began to bob my head, sliding my lips up and down his shaft. Gunners grip on my hair tightened and his grunts and moans increased, ringing through the office. The sound sent shivers down my spine and an excited tingle between my legs. I pushed my mouth down his shaft taking in as much of him as I could. I could feel the tip of his penis hit the back of my throat and I resisted the urge to gag. I groaned, sending vibrations down his dick, which only made Gunner moan louder and push at the back of my head. I pulled back, sucking on the tip, before sliding all the way back down again, rubbing my tongue along his shaft as I went.
“Fuck Zee. You’re gonna make me cum” Gunner groaned. His legs were shaking slightly, and I could feel his stomach tense. I continued to move my mouth back to the tip of his dick before sliding all the way back down again. His dick swelled inside my mouth, he bucked his hips with a breathy moan and shot is load down my throat. I expected not to like it, I thought it would be kind of gross. But the sweet yet salty taste was better than I imagined, in fact I could feel myself craving for more. I licked his dick clean and swiped my tongue over my lips, licking up any excess semen.
“Holy fucking shit. That was amazing” Gunner moaned breathlessly. He slumped back on his desk slouching his shoulders forward. I stood back up and rested my hands on his chest, looking over the sated expression on his face. In a flash, he gripped hold of my waist and pulled me flush against him, burying his face into the crook of my neck. His lips and teeth teased the sensitive skin below my ear.
“How did I get so lucky?” he whispered between kisses. I curled my arms around his neck and tilted my head to the side, exposing more of my neck.
“Will you now let me return the flavour?” Gunner asked with a lustrous excitement to his tone.
“Not wearing this dress” I giggled,
“Don’t want to get it all messy, seeing as I won’t be able to get another before tomorrow night”.
Gunner paused his attack on my neck and stood up straight, looking into my eyes. His playful and seductive demeanour quickly changed to one of seriousness and frustration. He looked over my face for a moment before huffing out a long breath.
“I’m sorry this happened” he sighed.
“Why did this happened, what aren’t you telling me Gunner?” my voice came out a little harder than I intended it to. I didn’t mean to be so brazen, it just kind of slipped out.
“Zee, please. I’ll take care of it, I don’t want you to worry about it” he replied with exasperation coating his tone.
“You said we were in this together, you said we were equals. How can we be if you keep things from me? This clearly has something to do with me being the Triple Goddess, therefore I have a right to know. I can’t be a Luna if I’m left in the dark on important issues”.
Gunner stared down at me, not saying a word. I could see the gears turning behind his eyes, he was having some kind of internal struggle. Finally, he released his grip on my waist and gently pushed me backwards to sit back down on the chair.
“Okay” he sighed, pulling his pants back up.
“Okay?” I repeated,
“Yep” he paused, blew out a breath and begun.
“About a month before you woke up, we had some Weres visit, unannounced, from a pack in Italy” Gunner explained, and I nodded along as he spoke.
“They came from a pack called Origin Wolf. History books say that the pack was created by one of the children from Lycaon, therefore they see themselves as royalty”
“Are they? You know, royalty?”
“Lycaon was the first born werewolf but he was not a crowned king. Origin Wolf is the closest thing that the Were community have to royalty, but there is no official government or crown or anything like that”
“So then why do they think that? That they’re royals?”
“Well because before you were discovered, the world thought that the Alpha was the last remaining direct bloodline tied to Lycaon, and in turn Selene. The children of Lycaon are a big deal in the Were world. Origin Wolf’s power has been growing exponentially over the past two centuries. But the discovery of you and your continued bloodline has tipped the world on its head”.
“And what did they want?”
“To be short, you”.
“Me?” I choked. Why in the hell would they want me? Well, I mean I can take guess at why, but what could I possibly offer them.
“You, the Triple Goddess. They wanted to test you”
“For what?”
“To confirm your bloodline or status of the Triple Goddess, we’re not completely sure”
“And did they?” The thought of strangers poking and prodding me, taking my blood and whatever else they wanted, all while I was unconscious and defenceless. It made my skin crawl. I felt sick to my stomach and I knew that the colour had drained from my face. Gunner pulled the other chair in front of me and sat down, taking my hands in his.
“Of course they didn’t. I wouldn’t let anyone near you. My dad, Artemis, Tobias and everyone else that they spoke to, they all attested to the fact. They weren’t exactly happy to leave without physically seeing you, but I didn’t give them the choice” he traced his fingers in slow calming circles over the back of my hands.
“This is a lot” I sighed, choking down a sob.
“I know baby, I’m sorry”.
“What does this have to do with the man from the mall?”
“Could be nothing, could be everything”
“I don’t know what that means”
“It means, he could have just been a visiting Were from another pack or a roaming Omega that heard the stories about you. Or he could have been sent from Origin Wolf to track you down”.
Track me down? Had it really got to the point where I was being tracked? Like some kind of rare and exotic wild animal. My skin broke out in goosebumps and I felt an icy shiver snake its way up my spine. How could someone from Italy find me, in Nova Scotia of all places. We're not exactly advertising our location. But Origin Wolf still managed it. So did the mystery man from the mall. But with him, he found me, not the pack or the village. Me.
“But he knew who I was, he came right up to me. How did he know what I look like if you didn’t let them see me?”
“That there lays the issue” Gunner snapped standing up and restarting his previous pacing.
“They shouldn’t know what you look like. A Seer or a Prophet or maybe a really powerful healer may have been able to sense your powers, but they would have to be close to you or touch you or have some kind of link to you for that to happen. You said you never saw this man before and I haven’t seen him before either. So, how did he know to approach you? How did he even know where you were going to be?”
My mind ran rampant with all the information Gunner was throwing at me. A few things I knew for sure. One; this Origin Wolf was bad news, I could feel it in my soul. Two; the news of my arrival (or so Roe called it) had already spread far and wide. Three; not everyone is exactly happy about it. Four; I have no idea what a Seer or a Prophet is. And five; no one should have known where I was today or what I look like, there is really only one way that information could have gotten out. I looked up to Gunner, he had stopped pacing and was now standing still, staring out of his office window to the memorial. Anxiety, fear, anger, it was rolling off him in giant waves. He has come to the same conclusion that I have.
“Gunner” I said softly.
He turned to face me, his eyes heavy with dread but held a hidden rage. His jaw was rigid and tight, and his brows were furrowed together.
“We have a traitor” he said through clenched teeth.
