The Moon's Descendant - Chapter 67 - The Ex part 2
Zelena.
I was stopped in my tracks by a massive pair of boobs in my face. I looked up at the owner and recognised her from the bonfire. She’s the girl that was glaring at me from across the fire. Her brows were frowned together and she had her arms crossed under her chest.
“Uh, hi” I said confused at her angered appearance.
Her lip curled up into a snarl and she huffed.
“Can I help you?” I asked,
“Yeh, you can leave” she snapped, her voice a little too high pitched for my liking.
“Sorry what?”
“I said you can leave. You don’t belong here” she whined.
“Who are you?” I snapped with a growing frustration.
“I’m the one who is meant to be with Gunner, I'm the one he was going to Mate. That is until your pathetic bony ass rolled into the village” her voice was like venom, why would she think that she was meant to be with Gunner?
“Are you being serious right now?” I huffed.
“I’m dead fucking serious princess. Look at what you’ve done, bringing hunters to our pack, endangering us all. Why don’t you just fuck off with your little flying rock tricks and take your hunter friends with you!”
Her words hurt me a little. I know that I'm the reason the hunters were coming, but it’s not like I invited them here. And I’m sure as hell not running away from them. This bimbo is way out of line and I really don’t feel like dealing with petty jealousy. I went to walk past the tall woman, but she stepped to the side making me run into her airbags and bounce back. She growled at me, uncrossing her arms and spreading her fingers by her side, claws ready.
“Move girl” I snarled. My anger growing inside my stomach. She growled again and stepped towards me. I held out my hand and pushed her back with my power, she stumbled on her feet and fell onto her ass. She jumped back onto her feet and charged at me. I lifted my arm to shield myself, but the action sent her body flying across the clearing landing nearly twenty metres away. She rolled a bit before stopping on her hands and knees, facing me. Her eyes were filled with hatred and her face was scrunched up in anger. I watched on as she changed into her small brown wolf, just a little faster than what Smith can. She let out a howl and charged towards me again. This bitch is relentless, and she has really pissed me off now. I stood facing her charge, my feet planted into the ground. I reached out my arms and lifted her wolf into the air. She struggled and fought against her weightlessness, still growling and barking in my direction. I threw my hands back down and her wolf followed, slamming hard into the ground. She let out a yelp but got back up, not putting her front left paw down. She started to charge me again, a little slower this time and with a hobble, because of her injured foot. I again picked her up off the ground and held her in the air.
“ENOUGH!” a strong voice filled with authority bellowed from the porch. I turned around and saw Gunners angry face watching down at us. He jumped over the railing and was quickly standing in front of me. I looked at him and then around the village. I hadn’t noticed that everyone had stopped what they were doing to watch me and the girl. All eyes were on me and my hands, still holding the bitch up in the air.
“Zelena, let her down” he said firmly. I dropped my hands and she fell back to the ground. She laid there in the dirt for a minute before changing back to her human form. Her naked body stood up and she snatched a towel hanging from the railing of one of the cabins. She walked back to where Gunner and I were standing, stopping a few meters away.
“Gunner, baby, she...” the girl started to talk,
“Quiet” Gunner stopped her,
“What happened?” he demanded now looking at me.
“She came up to me and told me that I needed to leave” I said softly, now that my anger had died down a bit, I was feeling seriously embarrassed.
“And?” he pressed,
“And that it’s my fault the hunters are coming”
“Is that all?”
“No, I tried to walk away but she got in my face growling and saying shit about you two being mated”
Gunner turned to look at the girl and growled at her through his bared teeth. She stepped back a little with her eyes wide.
“Baby...” she sooked at him. Why the fuck is she calling MY mate baby. The sound of her whining started to anger me again. A growl escaped my lips and I could feel my skin starting to prickle.
“Enough Zoe” Gunner yelled. Zoe is her name, perfect name for a big boobed bitch I thought.
“We are not Mate’s. She is my Mate” he growled at her, pointing back to me.
“She is a good for nothing freak that is going to get the pack killed” Zoe snarled.
With that, growls erupted from all around us. Marius and his fighters were in a defensive stance facing Zoe. A few other pack members were growling as their gaze flew from me to Zoe and back again. An earth-shaking growl came from behind me, I whipped around to see a giant black wolf with a white patch on its chest, standing over me. It was huge, way bigger than Gunner’s wolf. I could probably walk under its legs without having to crouch down. It wasn’t looking at me though, its black eyes were fixed on Zoe.
“Tobias” I questioned, staring at the humongous wolf. He huffed and nodded his head, keeping his eyes fixed on Zoe. His presence made me relax slightly.
I turned back to Gunner. I could see his muscles shaking, he was on the verge of changing. The anger coming from him was overwhelming. Zoe took a few steps towards Gunner and reached out for him. The action made my own ager spike again. I stepped closer to him and growled loudly. Tobias followed suit, still standing above me. Zoe looked at the giant wolf and froze.
“G-Gunner, I still love...” Zoe stuttered.
“Silence” Gunner snapped.
“For attacking your Luna with the intent to harm or kill, you are banished” he said loud and firm.
“You are no longer of the Tri-Moon pack. You have until nightfall to be out of my territory”.
Zoe fell to her knees clutching the towel to her chest. She breathed heavily looking up at Gunner, tears began to fall from her eyes.
“P-please” she breathed out.
“We’re done here”
