Mother of the Moon - Chapter 166 - The Traitor
Zelena.
I blinked my eyes open and stared up at the ceiling. The room was lit up by the hanging light on the roof, it shone in my eyes brightly, forcing me to turn them away. Galterio’s head was still at my neck. One of his hands held the back of my neck and the other was on the bed by my head. His tongue and lips moved their way across my neck and to his new mark. He licked kissed and sucked at the mark. Out of everything that I feared I would feel from him, none of it came. His lips on the mark didn’t make me quiver and shake the way Gunner’s did. The thought of him ravishing my body the way Gunner does, didn’t bring moisture to my panties. In fact, I was drier than a saltine cracker. My skin liked the cooling effect he gave me, but nothing more. I don’t want him. Gunner is still at the forefront of my mind. So, does that mean it didn’t work? We aren’t Mates, I still belong to Gunner. I groaned out loud in happiness, unable to hide my joy. Unfortunately Galterio heard the happy noise come from me. Fortunately though, he thought it was caused by something else.
“You like that don’t you Beauty?” he mumbled into my skin. He thinks I groaned out of pleasure. Maybe that’s a good thing, maybe I can work with that. I have a plan. A dumb, gross, horrible plan. But it’s still a plan.
“Galterio” I moaned, putting on the most erotic, sex filled voice I could muster. It worked. He growled sensually and shifted so that his whole body was now hovering over me. He used his knees to part my legs and lowered himself between them. He pushed his hips forward, pressing his erection into my groin. Thank fuck for the clothing between us. My insides were spinning, I could taste the bile in the back of my throat. With a hell of a lot of reluctance, I lifted my leg and hooked it around his waist. Galterio growled with excitement and began to slowly move his hips back and forth, grinding his groin into mine. My god, I hate this. Dry humping the Were that wants to kill my pup. But I really don’t have any other options.
A rough cough came from behind Galterio. I forgot the second voice, the other pair of footsteps. There’s another person in the room and he was watching Galterio rub himself all over me. This couldn’t get any worse.
“Fuck off” Galterio grunted without moving from his position on top of me.
“Alpha, we have work” the voice called with annoyance.
“Later, first I need to enjoy my new little Mate” Galterio chuffed and pushed his hips hard into mine. I grunted from the force of it, but Galterio seemed to like that. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. How do I get out of this now? I’m so stupid. Of course he would want to mate the first chance he could. He has been all over me from the first time we met. Why didn’t I think of that before.
“Galterio” I said softly as I moved my hands to his chest and pushed slightly. I hope this works.
“Yes, my little Mate?” he muttered into my ear.
“What is this, you called me your Mate?” I said with a breathy tone. Play dumb. He already thinks of me as an object for him to use as he pleases. It makes sense that he would believe I am nothing more than a bitch to stand at his side, look pretty and smile.
“Yes, Beauty. You are mine now, as you should be” he growled playfully as his tongue swiped across my collarbone.
“Yours” I sighed deeply and lifted my other leg to wrap around his waist. I hate this. I hate this so fucking much. I want to cry. I feel like I have, or I am, betraying Gunner. Would he forgive me for this? For playing along and leading Galterio on. Would he understand? He can hate me if he needs to, as long as I find my way back to him. I will spend the rest of my life showing Gunner how sorry I am for entertaining the thought of being with another man, whether its fake or not. As long as I have the chance to do so, the rest doesn’t matter.
“Alpha” the voice called again. I took the chance and pushed at Galterio’s chest. As I pushed him back, I sat up so that he couldn’t just pin me down again. My eyes met with those of the other Were in the room. He stood with his back against the wall and his dark scrutinising eyes pinned on me. I really wanted to be wrong. I hoped I was. This time, I’m not so lucky. His messy greying hair sat down past his shoulders, and his long grey beard made him look like an evil wizard.
“Artemis” I said disheartened.
“Triplí Theá” he said looking down his nose at me.
“What are you doing here?” I asked harshly. Galterio laughed and spun around on the bed so that he sat next to me, then he slid his arm around my waist.
“She already has my fire in her, see” he chuckled and pressed his lips to my temple.
“I here for you, Theá” he answered me.
“You betrayed… Tri-Moon?” I stuttered. I nearly said Gunner, I almost said his name out loud. If I do that, it may ruin this whole charade.
“No little Mate, he did his duty. He interpreted the prophecy, found you, and brought you to me. Just as he was supposed to” Galterio answered my question as he stroked his finger affectionately down my cheek. The prophecy, what prophecy? And how in the hell did he find me? He didn’t find me, Gunner did. But now he is taking credit for that, seriously. Something in the way Galterio talks, makes it sound like these two have known each other for a long time. Not just since Galterio kidnapped me. Could Artemis have been working with Origin Wolf, working against Tri-Moon, this whole time. Was Artemis the traitor all along?
