“What’s all that about do you think?” she asked, glancing back at them.
“No idea, did you recognise any of them?” I asked her.
“No, only the one. Do you think they are newcomers like us?”
“No, they are from the pack, but I haven’t seen them around the village”
“Hm, weird” Alyse said turning her head back to me.
I looked back at Hina’s hut, the women had all gone inside now. I shrugged and continued walking slowly. As we came around the dining hall, I saw Pappi standing in the doorway of a small hut. She was looking off into the distance with a small smirk on her face. I turned to see what she was looking at and almost face palmed myself, she’s blind idiot. I looked back to Pappi who was still staring at nothing. I tilted my head to the side with a curious expression on my face as I studied her. She ever so slightly nodded her head. I stopped walking and stared at her with more intensity. Alyse tugged my hand and turned to see why I had stopped walking. I dropped her hand and went to walk towards Pappi, but she lifted her hand in a stop gesture, how did she know I was there. She then pointed back towards Hina’s hut and I followed her hand. After a moment I saw Elaine and three other women marching towards us from around the dining hall building. Elaine looked enraged and the other women weren’t exactly smiling either. Oh fuck, we’re in trouble.
