Chapter 1568 Sky-high Treatment Fee
"It's all your fault, you know that? When you wake up, you better give me a billion dollars for treatment, or you'll owe me big time."
"I've done all the acupuncture, at least give me some kind of reaction."
Riley slapped Micah's face hard, but he still didn't respond.
She sighed helplessly, turned around, and took a notebook from the drawer.
She wrote a note: [XXXX year, X month, X day, treatment day fourteen, debt: 370 million dollars!]
Then, Riley grabbed Micah's hand, pressed his thumb into the ink pad, and then firmly onto the treatment record.
"Done!" Riley blew on the red mark on the treatment record, smiling with satisfaction.
"If you survive, you'll have to pay me with interest. If you die, I'll take this notebook to your wife and kids to get the money."
"Even though your wife is my kid's aunt, the money still needs to be paid. You get that, right?"

With that, Riley started pulling out the needles one by one, ready to pack up and abandon the treatment.
Just then, Micah's fingers twitched.
Riley froze, eyes wide in shock, wondering if she was seeing things.
Maybe it was just the wind blowing her hair into her eyes, making her hallucinate.
Micah had been unresponsive for over ten days, how could he suddenly...
As Riley was thinking, Micah's fingers twitched again.
This time, Riley saw it clearly. Micah was really moving.
Riley burst into joyous laughter, "Fantastic, you're finally coming back to life!"
"Looks like my new treatment plan is working. It was worth rummaging through your wife's study for all those ancient Hubert books."
Riley, thrilled, reinserted the needles and continued the treatment according to the new plan.
Meanwhile, at Hillside Villa.
Emma and Donna woke up from a nightmare.
They instinctively reached for the pillow beside them, but didn't see Mary. Emma immediately started crying.
Donna's eyes were full of tears, but she comforted Emma, "Don't cry. Crying won't help. We need to find a way to contact Daddy, so he can come and deal with those bad people and get justice for Mary."
"But we lost our little bee phone. How can we contact Dad?" Emma sobbed, "Mommy said only that little bee phone can reach Daddy."
"What do we do then?"
"Wait for Aunt Sadie to come back and ask her to help us contact Daddy."
"But Aunt Sadie is so busy right now. Noah and Nathan are still missing. I'm so scared."
"I miss Mommy. Why hasn't she come to find us yet?"
"I have an idea to find Mommy."
As Donna was speaking, Arya heard Emma's crying and rushed in, hugging them with concern, "Emma, Donna, what's wrong? Did you have a nightmare? Don't be scared, I'm here."
"Arya, we're so scared."
"Don't be afraid, I'll protect you. You're safe now." Arya comforted them gently, "Mary is out of danger. She'll be fine soon."
"Arya, we want to find Mommy and Daddy."
"Your daddy went back to Country E for some very important business. As for Your mommy, we're looking for her too."
Emma continued to cry, while Donna remained silent, staring out the window at the eagle, Coco, perched on the tree branch.
