Chapter 1597 Agree
The two bodyguards tried to pin Rylan down, but he knocked them out with just two punches.
Rylan was livid. He'd just heard that Alan was meeting Sadie at the club and figured Alan was trying to use the kids to threaten her, so he rushed over.
He hadn't expected to see this scene when he arrived.
Rylan was so angry his blood was boiling, feeling like he had let Micah down. He wanted to strangle Alan right then and there.
Sadie was extremely anxious. She had planned to carry out this plan quietly, hoping Alan would help rescue Noah and Nathan.
But things had gone awry, and Annika and Rylan had seen everything.
Now, there was no way to explain herself.
And she couldn't explain. She had to let them continue to misunderstand.
"Rylan, you got a death wish? I'll grant it!" Alan shouted, pulling out a gun and aiming it at Rylan.
His nose was still bleeding, and his eyes and cheeks were bruised.
Rylan had embarrassed him in front of so many people, especially Sadie. There was no way he would let that slide.
"If you got the guts, just shoot me," Rylan said, standing tall and unafraid. "You ungrateful bastard."
Alan pulled the trigger, ready to fire.
"Stop!" Sadie quickly intervened. "Do it for me, just let it go."
"Ms. James, you don't need to be afraid of him," Rylan said passionately. "Don't compromise."
"Enough," Sadie said coldly, frowning. "As a bodyguard, you shouldn't treat your employer this way."
Rylan was stunned. He hadn't expected Sadie to say that.
"Let's go," Sadie signaled to him with her eyes. "Don't cause any more trouble here."
"Take him away," Alan ordered impatiently.
"Yes, sir." The two bodyguards dragged Rylan away.
Alan checked his watch and frowned at Sadie. "The Graham Family's bodyguards will be here soon. Shall we talk?"
"Alright," Sadie agreed.
"Ms. James," Annika said urgently, grabbing her arm. "No matter what, you can't sacrifice yourself."
"Wait for me outside," Sadie said, pulling her hand away and following Alan into the private room.
Annika and Jessica were furious, tears streaming down their faces as they thought about what Sadie might have gone through last night.
Inside the room, Sadie closed the door and turned on the light.
Alan picked up his clothes from the floor and began to dress slowly in front of her.
Sadie was trying to organize her thoughts.
She had hoped to resolve this quietly, but Annika and Rylan's interference had complicated things.
However, the more chaotic it became, the more Alan would believe in the authenticity of last night.
After all, Annika and Rylan's reactions were genuine.
"This won't stay hidden for long," Alan finally said, putting on his pants. "Nicholas, that cunning fox, has been watching me. He'll soon find out about us."
"So, are you planning to deny it?" Sadie asked, her brow furrowed. "If that's the case, I'll take you down with me right now!"
Alan turned to look at her, his gaze suggestive. "I promised you I'd do it. I'll find out where your sons are and get the information to you. But rescuing them will be up to you."
"Really?" Sadie was skeptical.
"Of course. Do you think I enjoy being manipulated by that old fox?"
Alan rolled his eyes and handed her the divorce papers on the table. "I'll help you save your sons, but you still need to sign this agreement."
Sadie looked at the papers, hesitating.
She knew she had no choice but to sign. Everything was in Nicholas's hands.
She had to sign now and seize the opportunity to take control later.
