Chapter 1633 Presiding Over the Situation

Sadie and Micah had weathered many storms together over the years, enduring countless suspicions and arguments, resentment and misunderstandings.

But no matter what happened, whenever Sadie was in trouble, Micah would always protect her like a guardian angel.

Even at the end of his life, he did everything he could to pave the way for her, creating layer upon layer of protection, striving to keep her safe!

Even if he wasn't physically present, his love still shielded her like powerful wings, keeping her safe from harm.

"Mr. Clemens gave this to me before his accident, saying I should wait until you came to me before handing it over," Anthony explained.

"Honestly, I wanted to give you a heads-up earlier, seeing how anxious you were, but I was worried outsiders might sabotage things, so I held off until now."

"It's okay, now is the perfect time."

Sadie took the two envelopes, straightened her back, and walked confidently toward the conference room.

Anthony and Annika followed closely, with Dahlia pushing Silas right behind them.

Rodolfo and a group of bodyguards provided protection from the rear.

The group moved with determination, carrying an air of confidence.

Alan's bodyguards saw them approaching and quickly stepped forward to block their way.

Rodolfo and his team didn't hesitate, pushing them aside and engaging directly.

The two sides were locked in a heated argument at the conference room door, on the verge of a physical confrontation.

At that moment, Chloe opened the door from inside the conference room.

The board members saw Sadie leading the group and were momentarily stunned.

Then they noticed Silas and hurriedly gathered around him.

"Silas, you're finally here."

"Silas, Mr. Clemens wants Nicholas to join the board. You need to intervene."

"Silas, you must take charge of this situation."

Everyone pinned their hopes on Silas.

Silas said nothing, simply looking at Sadie, waiting for her to speak.

The board members quickly realized that the person taking charge today wasn't Silas, but Sadie!

Someone immediately spoke up, "Ms. James, please talk to Mr. Clemens."

"Yes, Ms. James, how can we let Nicholas join the Clemens Group board? Mr. Clemens must be out of his mind."

Hearing these words, Sadie felt a complex mix of emotions.

When Micah had his accident and she took over as CEO, everyone had doubted her.

To alleviate their concerns, she made three promises, had Anthony write them down, and turned them into an agreement witnessed by all shareholders.

She strictly adhered to all the commitments, but now "Micah" was bringing an outsider like Nicholas, who had questionable character, into the board.

Naturally, the board members were unhappy, but they were too intimidated by "Micah" to speak out.

Now, comparing the past and present, everyone realized Sadie's sincerity and dedication.

"Silas, Silas!"

Declan was the most dramatic, almost crying as he rushed over, emotionally pleading.

"Please, you have to stop Mr. Clemens. He's been brainwashed by the Graham Family, replacing our own people and now wanting Nicholas on the board. If this continues, the Clemens Group will end up in Nicholas's hands. What are we going to do?"

"Now you realize the seriousness of the situation?" Silas glared at him angrily. "When Sadie was wholeheartedly protecting the Clemens Group, you made things difficult for her and even sided with outsiders to bully her."

"I didn't!"

"Now's not the time for this. We need to focus on the task at hand," Sadie said, scanning the crowd and frowning. "Where's Ryan?"

"Ryan was upset by Mr. Clemens earlier and is resting in the medical room," Chloe said, her eyes red. "Mr. Clemens, Mr. Graham, and their legal team are discussing matters in the lounge."

As soon as she finished speaking, the door to the lounge inside the conference room opened, and Alan and Nicholas walked out arrogantly.

Blimey, My Kid's the Heir to the Billionaire Boss!
