Chapter 1634 Second Shareholder
Rodolfo saw Alan and couldn't help but widen his eyes in shock, nervously saying, "He really does look like him!"
"How else could he fool so many people?" Dahlia frowned deeply.
As Alan and Nicholas stepped out, everyone else backed away, the board members looking at them with unease.
The two of them, however, wore the expressions of victors, smirking coldly at Sadie.
Alan directly asked, "What are you doing here?"
Sadie looked at his shameless face, feeling a surge of anger, but she remained calm and said, "I think today's board meeting needs to be reconvened. I don't agree with outsiders joining the board."
Nicholas laughed out loud, as if he had heard a ridiculous joke.
"You don't agree? What right do you have to disagree?"
Alan looked at her mockingly, "Officially, your shares and assets have been reclaimed by me. You have no say in the Clemens Group or the VIC Group."
"Personally, we're divorced. You have no right to interfere in my affairs."
Hearing this, the board members all worried for Sadie.
Everyone watched her, wondering how she would fight back.
"Is that so?" Sadie smiled, glancing at the team of lawyers behind Nicholas. She turned to Anthony and said, "Go get our legal team. Let's settle this once and for all."
"Settle? Settle what?" Alan raised an eyebrow.
Nicholas squinted, unsure of what Sadie was planning.
"Yes, Ms. James," Anthony immediately complied.
Although the agreement was straightforward and Anthony could handle it alone, it was better to have more people since the Graham Family had their legal team present.
Seeing that Sadie had a plan, everyone became excited, eagerly waiting for her to take on Nicholas.
Nicholas gave Alan a look.
Alan immediately issued an order, "Sadie, you're not part of the Clemens Group. You have no right to attend this board meeting. Please leave."
With that, he gestured, "Escort her out!"
"Yes, sir." Several bodyguards moved to remove Sadie.
But Dahlia, Rodolfo, and other bodyguards quickly stepped in to protect her.
"What are you doing? Rebelling?" Alan, using Micah's identity, shouted angrily.
The bodyguards hesitated, intimidated by Alan's identical appearance and voice to Micah, which carried a certain authority.
"Are you feeling guilty?"
At this moment, Silas finally spoke, glaring at Alan with anger, "Since Sadie wants to settle accounts, let's do it in front of everyone. Why are you in such a hurry?"
"Silas," Alan frowned in displeasure, "I've told you, you're sick and should be resting at home. At your age, why bother getting involved?"
"Grandpa entrusted the Clemens Family to me before he passed, so I must protect this family," Silas shouted passionately.
"Since the Clemens Group was founded, all the board members have been with Grandpa from the start. Now you want to let an outsider join. Have you asked everyone if they agree?"
"Exactly," Declan quietly echoed.
Alan shot him a stern look, and he immediately lowered his head, not daring to make a sound.
"I'm in charge of the Clemens Group. I have my reasons for doing this," Alan said dismissively. "Silas, you shouldn't worry about it."
With that, he ordered, "Someone, take Silas back to rest."
"Yes, sir." Several bodyguards moved to push Silas's wheelchair.
"Who dares?" Sadie spoke up firmly.
"What right do you have to give orders here?" Alan frowned and shouted coldly, "Leave now!"
"Because I'm the second-largest shareholder of the Clemens Group," Sadie said arrogantly. "Actually, my shares might even be more than yours."
