Chapter 1594 Turn Off the Lights
"Enough." Sadie was done arguing, her voice dripping with disdain. "If anything happens to Noah and Nathan, you're gonna pay for it!"
"You don't need to threaten me; I'm not scared." Alan chuckled coldly. "I know you have Tristan backing you, but that doesn't intimidate me."
"I'm not like Micah. He has big ambitions, while I just want to enjoy life and get what I desire, including you!"
Alan grabbed the back of Sadie's head, pulling her closer.
"Sadie, I know what you're thinking. You want to persuade me to help you save your sons, but no matter what you say, it won't work. You might as well do something practical."
"If you become my woman, your problems will be my problems, and I'll definitely help you save your sons."
With that, Alan released Sadie, a smirk playing on his lips. "I'm not forcing you. It's your decision."
Then, he elegantly sipped his wine, adding, "If you haven't agreed by the time I finish this bottle, then forget it."
Sadie frowned deeply, her mind in turmoil.
Of course, she wanted to save Noah and Nathan. She would give her life for them.
But now, to sleep with another man? She couldn't bring herself to do it.
"If you lack the courage, just drink more. It'll loosen you up." Alan urged Sadie again.
Sadie could only down the wine in her glass.
"That's the spirit." Alan poured her another glass. "Come on, keep going. I know you've been under a lot of stress lately. Drinking more will help you relax."
Sadie drank several more glasses, now feeling heavily intoxicated.
Alan watched her flushed cheeks and hazy eyes, his heart racing with excitement.
He slowly leaned in to kiss her, but Sadie suddenly felt nauseous and almost vomited on him.
Alan instinctively dodged, not noticing Sadie slipping a white pill into his glass.
The pill dissolved quickly in the wine, disappearing without a trace.
Sadie covered her mouth and rushed to the bathroom to throw up.
Alan watched her retreating figure, a mocking smile curling his lips. He raised his glass and downed the wine.
Feeling like his prey was almost within reach, the wine tasted especially delicious.
He set the glass down and signaled to the bodyguards at the door.
The two bodyguards quickly left, closing the door behind them.
In the bathroom, Sadie swiftly took Paula's pill, splashed her face with cold water, and called Jonny.
She had anticipated Alan's intentions on her way here and had already contacted Jonny.
Luckily, Jonny was still managing the Night Club and working the night shift, ready to help her.
"Ms. James, how's it going?"
Sadie, afraid of being overheard, didn't speak but coughed twice. Jonny immediately understood.
"I got it. I'll arrange it right away."
After hanging up, Sadie cleared the call history and stumbled out of the bathroom.
"Are you okay?" Alan approached her gently, offering an opened bottle of water. "Drink some water, it'll help."
"Thanks."
Sadie took the water, drank a few sips, and then weakly collapsed onto the sofa.
Alan couldn't resist her slightly open neckline and alluring appearance.
He leaned in, gently stroking her cheek, and softly persuaded her.
"Micah is a lost cause. Even if you find him, he won't survive. You should accept reality and be with me."
"Don't worry, I don't want kids, so I'll treat yours as my own. If you stay with me, I'll take good care of you. We'll be happy together."
As he spoke, Alan moved to kiss Sadie.
Sadie didn't push him away but placed her hand on Alan's lips, whispering, "Turn off the lights."
