Chapter 1656 Able to Move

Sadie glanced at her watch, feeling a wave of anxiety wash over her. Noah still hadn't been rescued, and she had to be back in Newark by tomorrow morning.

Tristan's three-day deadline was out of the question. Noah needed to be rescued by 3 PM tomorrow, or she was going to lose this battle.

With that in mind, Sadie called Terry to explain the situation.

Terry sounded a bit troubled but finally said, "Mr. James gave strict orders to rescue Noah within three days. You're basically moving the deadline up by a day, which is tough, but I'll do my best."

"Thanks, Terry," Sadie replied. "I'll try to find a way to buy some time too."

"Alright."

After hanging up, Sadie immediately contacted Ryan and Silas. They were doing everything they could to persuade the board members not to sell their shares.

Sadie asked if they could find a way to postpone the board meeting. They said it was very difficult. Her shares hadn't been cashed out yet, and even if they were, it would take some time for them to be reviewed.

So, for now, the Clemens Group was still under "Micah's" control.

Although the shares had changed, he couldn't exercise his power, but he could still call a board meeting.

Sadie's heart sank. It seemed she could only rely on Terry to rescue Noah as soon as possible.

After hanging up, Sadie checked the news. Sure enough, the Graham Family held a press conference to announce Micah and Olivia's wedding.

"Micah" even confirmed the news in front of the reporters.

Sadie frowned deeply. It seemed Nicholas was in a hurry, likely planning to have Alan and Olivia register their marriage before the board meeting.

Although the person was Alan, he was using "Micah's" identity.

Thinking about it made Sadie feel very uncomfortable.

But now, with Noah not rescued, she couldn't stop any of this from happening.

"Ms. James," Annika hurried over, excitedly saying, "I just got a call from Arya. Andrew has woken up."

"Really?" Sadie was shocked. "So soon!"

"Yes, I didn't expect Andrew to wake up so quickly," Annika said, almost in tears from joy. "He's still very weak, but he waved and talked to me on the video call."

"That's great." Sadie patted her shoulder. "You should go back. He needs you the most right now."

"But what about you?" Annika was worried.

"I still have Aurora with me. She'll take care of me," Sadie urged. "Go quickly. You should also ask Andrew about what happened before he fell unconscious and talk to the police to see if his words can be used as evidence against Alan."

"Got it. I'll leave right away."

Annika almost ran out, showing how excited she was.

Sadie watched her leave, feeling happy for her. Now everything was ready, just waiting for the right moment.

As long as Noah was rescued, everything would be easier.

But she wondered how Micah was doing now.

With Riley's help, Andrew had woken up in such a short time. What about Micah? Had he recovered already?

"Hubert's remedy really works!"

In the forest, Riley looked at Micah's wrist, which was stiff but could now stretch, and couldn't help but be overjoyed. "It's only been a day, and your hand can move."

"I feel my body isn't as stiff as before."

Micah was very excited, trying to move his arm. It was difficult, but there was hope.

"Great." Riley looked at his handiwork, very satisfied. "We'll increase the dosage tonight. Maybe your arm will be able to lift by tomorrow."

"Help me sit up. I want to see if I can sit."

Micah didn't want to lie down anymore. His body was stiff from lying down.

Blimey, My Kid's the Heir to the Billionaire Boss!
