Chapter 1613 Going All Out

Riley had left, leaving Micah alone on the wooden bed. Thinking about the mess back home, Micah was anxious and wished he could fly back immediately.

But he couldn't move at all right now; even drinking juice was a struggle.

Riley had used a straight cup, which wasn't as convenient as the wooden bowl the old wolf had brought before.

Micah tried to lift his neck to drink the juice, but his neck was stiff and he couldn't muster the strength.

He had no choice but to look pleadingly at the old, limping wolf squatting nearby.

The old wolf looked at him coldly, as if saying, "Beg me, beg me!"

Micah frowned and gritted his teeth, "I, Micah, am a formidable man. It's one thing to bow down to Riley to survive, but now you want me to beg a wolf? I'd rather die of thirst and hunger."

With that, he turned his head away with dignity.

The old wolf slowly walked over, stuck out its tongue, and licked the juice in the cup, making loud slurping noises, clearly enjoying it.

"You," Micah's face turned green with anger, "You beast, you're just as despicable as your owner!"

The old wolf seemed to understand, lifted its head, bared its teeth, and glared at him with eyes that gleamed with a chilling light, as if ready to attack.

Micah quickly changed his tone, "No, I mean, you're just as lovely, lovely as your owner!"

The murderous look in the wolf's eyes gradually faded, and it turned away, walking off slowly.

Micah looked at the juice, now half-drunk by the wolf, with disdain, just hoping these days would end soon.

He was desperately missing Sadie and the kids, wanting to get back to them as soon as possible.

Sadie had fallen into a restless sleep and had a nightmare where Noah and Nathan were being bullied and mistreated.

Her heart ached, and she sent another message to Jesse, hoping for a response.

Jesse replied that they were still searching.

Sadie was frantic. She felt she couldn't just sit and wait any longer. She planned to take a few people and go to Biston herself the next day.

But for now, she needed to prepare to meet Alan.

Maybe he really had some useful leads.

With that in mind, Sadie got up, washed, dressed up, and took Paula's pills, ready to head out.

"Ms. James, where are you going?" Annika hurried to catch up, "Let me go with you."

"No need," Sadie felt this was something she had to do alone. Bringing others might disrupt the plan.

"But I worry about you going alone," Annika said anxiously, "What if something happens like the other day?"

"Nothing happened that day," Sadie smiled, "I'm perfectly fine, aren't I?"

"That was because Jonny helped, and the plan went smoothly. But today..." Annika guessed she was going to see Alan, "That scumbag Alan, he's full of bad ideas. He's definitely up to something. What if things go wrong this time..."

The more Annika thought about it, the more uneasy she became, "If something really happens, how will I explain it to Mr. Clemens?"

Seeing how worried she was, Sadie said, "Alright, how about this: you take two people and wait somewhere near the hotel. If anything happens, I'll message you, and you can come right away."

"Okay, okay, I'll arrange it immediately."

Annika quickly went to arrange the personnel.

Sadie drove alone to the Cloud Hotel to meet Alan.

She was fully prepared, determined to find out where Noah and Nathan were, no matter the cost.

It was already the third day since the kids had been kidnapped. She couldn't bear to imagine the inhumane suffering they might have endured in these three days.

She couldn't wait any longer.

Blimey, My Kid's the Heir to the Billionaire Boss!
