Chapter 1644 Instigation

Alan jolted awake, "Nicholas, you've really thought this through, haven't you? Drugging me, making me marry your daughter Olivia, and now you're planning to force me to transfer all my assets to her name. Then, you'll kill me without anyone knowing, and she'll inherit the Clemens Group?"

"Are you out of your mind?" Nicholas snapped angrily. "Did Sadie put these ideas in your head again? I'm telling you, she's just trying to mess with you. Think for a second..."

Before Nicholas could finish, Alan hung up the phone and ordered, "Drive to Crestonvale."

"Now? Crestonvale is over three hundred miles away."

His subordinates were stunned. Why was he suddenly heading to Crestonvale at this hour?

"Hurry up," Alan barked.

"Yes, sir," they obeyed.

Alan was frantic. He needed to find out if he had been poisoned.

The hospitals in Newark were all under Nicholas's control, so he decided to go somewhere else for a check-up.

All of this was within Sadie's expectations.

On the road, Sadie received a call from Dahlia.

"Just as you predicted, Alan's on the highway, heading towards Crestonvale."

"Looks like my words had an effect," Sadie said, narrowing her eyes.

"I'll contact the hospital in Crestonvale right away..."

"No need," Sadie interrupted. "He won't make it there."

"Why?" Dahlia asked, then quickly understood. "You mean Nicholas will stop him?"

"Exactly," Sadie replied with a cold smile. "Nicholas isn't easy to deal with. He's been secretly monitoring Alan all along."

"So, your plan..."

"Don't worry. As long as Alan is suspicious, we're halfway there."

"What should we do now?"

"Find Noah. We need to rescue him as soon as possible. Once Noah is safe, we can fully focus on dealing with Nicholas."

"Should I meet up with Rylan?"

"No, you stay and keep an eye on the house. I'm heading to Biston."

"But what about the house and the company? They need you."

"The transfer of shares will take at least three days. During these three days, nothing is more important than rescuing Noah. Just keep an eye on the house."

"Alright."

"Alan has taken over the garden villa. Silas can't go back there. Move him to Hillside Villa. The security of Hillside Villa is crucial now, understand?"

"Got it!"

Sadie hung up the phone, took a deep breath, and looked at the blood-red sunset outside the window. Her heart felt heavy.

She was exhausted, but she had to get to Biston.

Sadie's car sped towards Biston. At the highway entrance, she received news: Alan's car had been intercepted by the Graham Family and taken away.

Sadie smirked. She knew that idiot Alan couldn't escape Nicholas's grasp.

But it didn't matter. As long as Alan was suspicious and Olivia resisted, their plan wouldn't go smoothly.

With Nicholas's attention divided, Sadie could focus on rescuing Noah.

She checked her watch and urged, "Drive faster."

"Yes, ma'am."

The car sped towards Biston, passing the Graham Family's convoy.

Through the window, Sadie saw Alan in the opposite car, arguing fiercely with Nicholas.

"Stop yelling and shut up," Nicholas shouted at Alan, then asked his subordinate, "Was that the James Family's car that just passed?"

"Seems like it, Mr. Graham," the subordinate replied.

"Looks like they're rushing to Biston to rescue their son," Nicholas sneered, then turned to Alan.

"See? Sadie is deliberately trying to create conflict, using you to distract me so she can rescue her son."
Blimey, My Kid's the Heir to the Billionaire Boss!
