Chapter 1585 Divorce

Arya helped Sadie settle into bed and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Annika, you should get some rest too. I'll keep an eye on things here," Arya urged.

"Alright," Annika nodded. "Stay with Ms. James. She's been having nightmares lately. And if there's any important news, wake us up immediately."

"I got it. Go on," Arya said, gently pushing Annika out of the room. "If you don't sleep soon, you'll collapse. Then who will take over for me?"

Annika managed a weak smile before stumbling back to her room, exhausted.

Arya instructed the staff to prepare some food for when they woke up, arranged for someone to look after Mia and the three kids, and reminded the female bodyguards outside to be extra vigilant and not let anyone in.

Once everything was settled, she returned to Sadie's room.

Sadie was already fast asleep. She hadn't slept for two days and nights, barely ate anything, and had been under constant stress.

Even the strongest person would break under such conditions.

Arya tucked her in and sat on the couch, watching Sadie with a look of deep concern.

She thought to herself, 'Those bastards took advantage of Tristan's situation to bully Sadie. Once he makes his comeback, they'll pay for this.'

Just then, Arya's phone buzzed. Rodolfo had sent her a message from the hospital.

International news was reporting that the business landscape in Country E was changing. The legendary "Mr. L" was not only alive but had officially returned and was fighting back.

Arya felt a surge of excitement. If Tristan was back, those bullies wouldn't dare mess with Sadie anymore.

Meanwhile, in a stretched Rolls-Royce.

Alan saw the news on his phone and anxiously asked Nicholas, "Is this true? Is Mr. L really making a comeback?"

"It's possible, but it's just news for now. Even if he is making a comeback, it'll take time. He'll be busy dealing with his own issues and won't have time to worry about the Clemens Group's problems," Nicholas replied calmly, seemingly unconcerned.

"But once he's done, won't he come after us?" Alan pressed.

"By then, you'll be the true Micah, controlling all the Clemens Group's assets. He'll be just starting out again, with little power to challenge you."

"Besides, by then, you should be divorced from Sadie. What grounds would he have to interfere with the Clemens Group?" Nicholas said confidently.

"That makes sense, but you guys mistakenly took Tristan's kids. He'll want revenge, won't he?" Alan was still uneasy.

"They've been released, haven't they?" Nicholas said dismissively. "I heard Sadie has already taken the three kids back."

"One of the kids was hurt," Alan glared at him. "I don't think Tristan will let this go easily."

"That kid only had a minor injury. It's not that serious," Nicholas sneered. "And even if he wants to pursue it, what can he do? Once we take over the Clemens Group's assets, we won't have to worry about him."

"But..."

"Enough," Nicholas interrupted, trying to reassure Alan. "You've gone from a penniless playboy to the world's richest man. Of course, there are risks involved!"

Alan thought about it and realized Nicholas was right.

Everything in life comes with risks, especially when he had suddenly gained unimaginable wealth. It was normal to face some danger.

"But there's one thing we need to handle first," Nicholas said seriously. "You need to divorce Sadie."

Blimey, My Kid's the Heir to the Billionaire Boss!
