Chapter 1608 Replaced
Sadie was fuming, her teeth clenched tight. She should've seen this coming. Alan might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but he wasn't dumb.
How could he possibly give her everything she wanted in just one night?
He was a pro at dealing with women.
Alan would definitely chip away at her dignity bit by bit, squeezing everything out of her. He'd drop just a little bit of info each time, and by the time Noah was rescued, she might already be ruined.
That was his plan.
Last night, under the cover of darkness, she managed to get Jonny's help and muddle through.
But how was she going to handle tonight?
If she didn't go, she wouldn't get any clues.
After all, Noah and Nathan were still missing.
Sadie was extremely frustrated and couldn't sleep anymore.
She thought for a moment and called Jesse to check on the situation.
Jesse said, "I've contacted Mr. Chaseu. He really knows Biston's factories well and has been very helpful. According to his analysis, seven factories shouldseven factories shouldseven factories should be our primary search targets. I'm getting ready to take a team over there."
"Good, keep me updated with any news," Sadie saw a glimmer of hope. "I'll share any clues I find on my end."
"Got it, I'll get to work now."
"Alright."
After hanging up, Sadie, exhausted, prepared to get up and wash up. Just then, Chloe sent her a bunch of news links, which she immediately opened to check.
The news reported that she and "Micah" were already divorced, even showing the divorce certificate.
From now on, the Clemens Family and the Clemens Group had nothing to do with Sadie.
Everything had reverted to Micah.
Alan, during an interview with reporters, stated that he would focus on managing the Clemens Group, building a business empire, and treating relationships seriously. Even if he remarried in the future, he would choose a girl with a clean family background and good character.
Seeing these news reports, Sadie found it laughable. Nicholas's plan was flawless, forcing her to sign the divorce papers and then having the lawyer handle the procedures.
Immediately after, they announced the divorce to the public and had Alan make those statements, all to pave the way for him to marry a daughter from the Graham Family.
But Sadie was curious, would Nicholas have Alan marry Olivia or his eldest daughter?
She heard that the eldest daughter was also very calculating, willing to do anything to achieve her goals, and often clashed with Olivia.
But now wasn't the time to worry about that. Sadie just wanted to rescue Noah and Nathan quickly, and heal Mary and Andrew. Only when they were safe could she focus on dealing with Nicholas.
Thinking about this, Sadie put down her phone and prepared to wash up. Just then, another call came in, this time from Ryan. He sounded agitated.
"Sadie, I just got word that the group is giving me an extended leave due to 'health issues' and they've brought in a tech prodigy from Country H to replace me. It's outrageous! All the important projects are under my control, they're clearly trying to seize power!"
Hearing this, Sadie was also indignant. "If they're bold enough to target you, the key positions at the Clemens Group must have been almost completely replaced."
As she spoke, another call came in. It was Declan.
Ryan was furious. "All the board members have been replaced, including Declan. He thought sucking up to the current impostor would give him a way out. Now that he's been replaced, he's panicking and just called me, begging for help. I gave him a piece of my mind. What justice am I supposed to uphold? I've been replaced myself!"
"Ryan, please calm down. I'll think of something," Sadie quickly reassured him.
"Have you contacted Tristan?"
Ryan was now pinning all his hopes on Tristan. He believed that only if Tristan stepped in would Sadie have the leverage to deal with the Graham Family.
