Chapter 1574 Feelings

Sadie and Annika returned home, hearing Arya's angry shouts from a distance. "You jerk, come back here again and I'll break your legs!"

Arya then threw a reporter out of the backyard and kicked him to the ground.

The man stumbled and fled in a panic.

Annika looked at Arya's stance and couldn't help but comment, "You look ready to rumble."

"Caught a bunch of paparazzi," Arya fumed. "They just won't leave, lurking in the woods to take photos. It's infuriating."

"Take some people and do another sweep," Sadie ordered. "Don't let a single one slip through."

"Got it," Arya responded immediately and went to carry out the task.

Sadie led Annika into the villa and instructed the other female bodyguards, "We need to be extra vigilant these days. Be cautious, no outsiders are allowed into the villa. Even when buying supplies, be careful."

"Yes, Ms. James."

"Ms. James, you haven't slept for a day and a night. Have some food and get some rest."

Annika had the kitchen prepare breakfast for Sadie.

Sadie, however, had no appetite. "My stomach's upset. I'm not eating. I'll head to the study. You keep an eye on things here. When Arya gets back, you should rest too."

"Understood," Annika nodded and went to arrange the security details.

Sadie entered the study and pulled up the information Rylan had sent on her phone, meticulously checking for any useful clues to find Noah and Nathan.

Just then, there was a knock on the door, followed by Jesse's voice. "Ms. James, it's me."

"Come in," Sadie responded quickly.

Jesse walked in, looking worn out, and reported, "Ms. James, sorry, I haven't found Mr. Clemens yet, but we have some leads."

"Forget about him for now," Sadie interrupted. "Noah and Nathan have been taken. The priority is to find them."

"What happened?" Jesse's face turned pale. "What about Emma, Mary, and Donna?"

"Mary's injured and in the hospital. Emma and Donna have been rescued, just some minor injuries, nothing serious."

Sadie detailed the events of the previous day to Jesse, ending with a guilty admission.

"It was my mistake. I thought the target was Micah and me. I never imagined they'd go after the kids. Plus, I assumed Tristan would have people secretly protecting them, but he left for Country E early in the morning, so..."

"It's not your fault," Jesse frowned. "Why didn't you tell me sooner? I could have helped rescue them."

"At that time, both situations were urgent. If Nicholas's people found Micah and Riley, it would have been dangerous too," Sadie explained briefly. "Let's not dwell on that now. The priority is rescuing the kids, and I'm counting on you!"

"Understood, I'll get right on it." Jesse copied the information Rylan had gathered. "I'll handle the kids. What about Mr. Clemens?"

"I'll take care of that," Sadie said immediately. "You focus on rescuing the kids."

"Alright," Jesse nodded and prepared to leave. At the door, he turned back to Sadie, "By the way, Ms. James, there's something I need to remind you."

"Go ahead," Sadie looked at him.

"Mr. James may not have cared much for her before, but after this life-and-death ordeal, he's genuinely attached to her. So, when you're looking for Mr. Clemens, you must consider her safety, otherwise..."

Jesse's words were subtle yet direct.

"I understand," Sadie smiled. "Even if Tristan didn't care for her, she's still Emma, Mary, and Donna's mother. I wouldn't harm her. Besides, Tristan finally has feelings for someone, and I'm happy for him!"
