Chapter 1575 Wanting Mommy

Jesse laughed, "We say the same thing. Only someone like Riley could handle Mr. James."

As soon as he said it, he quickly covered his mouth. "We can't let anyone hear that, or we'll be in big trouble. Mr. James doesn't allow anyone to say a bad word about her."

Sadie chuckled, "That's good to hear. Really good!"

"I gotta go now. Keep in touch."

"Sure thing."

Sadie watched Jesse leave, thinking about how her brother Tristan had developed feelings for Riley. She was even more curious about her future sister-in-law.

She wondered when they would finally meet in person.

"Ms. James."

Just then, Annika knocked and came in, carrying a light breakfast. "Everything's set up. You should eat something and get some rest. You can't keep going like this; it's not good for your health."

"Alright." Sadie walked over and sat on the couch. "Sit down and eat with me."

"Me?" Annika was taken aback.

Although Sadie usually treated her and Arya like sisters, they had never dined together in private like this.

"Sit down," Sadie said in a more commanding tone.

"Yes, ma'am." Annika quickly sat down, feeling a bit uneasy as she joined Sadie for the meal.

"You've been working hard lately." Sadie handed her a piece of omelet.

"Even though the hospital is so close, you haven't gone to see Andrew. You've stayed by my side the whole time."

Sadie's tone seemed calm, but there was a hint of sadness and concern.

She knew how much Annika cared about Andrew. While waiting, Annika's eyes were always on the other hospital building.

But despite that, she chose to stay with Sadie.

Even when she left, she didn't go to see him, just glanced in that direction as she went downstairs.

Sadie noticed all these details and felt deeply for her.

"It's my duty," Annika said firmly. "You don't have anyone else. I have to be here with you. It's my mission."

"Silly girl." Sadie felt a pang of sympathy for Annika. "Tonight, we'll go check it out. If Riley is really at Half Mountain Villa, not only will Micah be saved, but so will your Andrew."

"Really?" Annika was overjoyed but then looked worried.

"But I heard from Dr. Rey that Riley is good at acupuncture and detoxification. Andrew's condition might need foreign medical expertise."

"No." Sadie shook her head. "I talked to Paula. Riley was expelled by Hubert because she insisted on learning foreign medical techniques to integrate them with traditional ones. Hubert didn't approve."

"In short, Riley is a renowned doctor who combines both domestic and international medical practices. With her, everyone will be fine."

"That's wonderful." Annika was excited. "Andrew has been bedridden for half a month. Gabriella came twice but couldn't do much. I really hope Riley can help."

"She definitely can." Sadie patted her hand. "Let's have breakfast. You've been starving for two days."

"Okay."

Just as they were about to eat, they heard the excited shouts of children from outside. "Aunt Sadie, Aunt Sadie."

Then, two kids burst into the room.

"Emma, Donna."

Before Sadie could finish saying their names, Donna and Emma ran into her arms, almost knocking her over on the couch.

"There, there, don't cry. I'm here. Don't be scared."

Sadie gently comforted the children.

"Aunt Sadie, I'm scared." Emma sobbed, barely able to catch her breath. "I want my mommy. Can you help me find her?"

Donna, with tears streaming down her face, added, "I want my mommy too."

Blimey, My Kid's the Heir to the Billionaire Boss!
