CHAPTER HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR

I was intently focused on physically annihilating the Drak in front of me while simultaneously keeping watch over the other warships that I didn't realize someone else had exited the ship I was on.

I watched the life draining out of the one in my hold, as I pushed torrents of electricity into his body. But before I could finish him completely, I felt a body slam into me, sending us all toppling out of the ship’s deck and into space.

I disengaged from the Drak I was trying to kill so the rest would fuck off and turned around to see who had interrupted me.

But he was charging towards me again, propelled by some force on his feet; I'd need to study that later, because moving around was difficult for me.

Before he could hit me though, I teleported to his back and grabbed him.

I seemed to have misjudged things as whoever I was trying to kill earlier had nothing in comparison to the one under me now or the five others diving out of their warship and heading towards me.

I increased the electricity in my hands and soon enough, he went limp.

These ones were bulky, their legs alone were bigger than me and their armour was so thick I knew it'll be difficult to find skin to touch.

They all came at me at once, shooting and the other guy came at me with a sword.

I focused on him first.

With a scream pouring from my guts, I launched myself at him, ignoring the searing pain that the sword elicited through my sides. Damn, I should have gotten myself into some armor.

But no matter, I was able to wrestle the sword out of his hands and found out he wasn't wearing gloves.

“Oops,” I said as the shock of his life ironically took his life away in an instant.

I wasn't relishing their deaths at this point, I just needed them dead. My ship had been in stasis for too long.

I kept on fighting, healing and trying to not get tired as I was spread too thin

I looked at the war ship and noticed they were to fire again, having replaced the guns I'd destroyed earlier.

“Shit!” I exclaimed and released shocks in all directions, not caring who got hit.

I teleported to the deck and hit the long metal with as much force as I could, shattering it into pieces.

Others kept shooting at me but it was no use, the only thing affecting me right now is my body fighting in different locations and some were getting whacked real hard because I wasn't paying attention.

So I killed off the ones around me and rushed towards the entrance where more were pouring out of.

They switched to their own language as I sent electric thunderbolts down the spiraling stairs, making them fall off.

I walked down, killing as tried getting close to me and attacking those shooting from a distance.

Someone seemed to understand that shooting me was of no use and jumped over my head, sinking a dagger in my ribcage, the pain making me angrier.

I took it and sliced his neck clean, but this action gave them all the brilliant idea to come at me with knives, swords and daggers instead of shooting at me.

“Ah!” I exclaimed as one threw his short knife into my shoulder blades.

I rushed towards him, shocking him to death faster than I'd thought possible, the pain making my powers erratic.

I jumped out of the way of more knife throws but there were so many of them still pouring in from outside the ship, and I realized they had communicated to the other ships.

The pain wasn't unbearable, but like the constant needle work of a tattoo artist, it kept going in and out, sharp pains shooting across my body repeatedly while I kept killing the perpetrators.

It was unending and I realized I needed to take a break, the energy my body was expending was too much, too fast. The electric thunderbolts, the healing and my other forms scattered all over the place simply meant that I was getting weaker by the minute.

If Tessa hadn't taken over the ship, I sure as hell would have been dead by now.

I tried teleporting but realized I could only move a few paces away from myself.

“Shit!” I gasped as another knife pierced through my ribcage, reopening a closed wound and it was obvious my body was finding it harder to heal itself.

I decided to take back some parts of me, hoping against all hopes that Tessa would be able to hold on. If the ship gets fired too hard and she's not able to catch it, something could spoil beyond repair. Then all of this would have been for nothing.

I gave the call and with renewed vigor, I continued killing, breaking and hurting as many Draks as I could with the lethal force emanating from inside me as I got stronger with each part of me joining back into my body.

They seemed to realize what was happening and I noticed the number of people coming at me increased, and they were all aiming at my neck and heart but I was defending myself with so much precision it was impossible.

Immediately my body was in full charge and control, I teleported out of there and was met with the view of fifteen ships all hurdled together as they all jumped out of it, hurtling towards the one I'd just gotten out of.

I teleported backwards again, far from their view but from a point where I could see them properly.

A body floated towards me as I watched their confusion at my disappearance.

At first I was startled but then realized what space was doing to it without the oxygen mask.

I undressed the body, wearing the armor and coverings they used against me and launched back in.

I could have blown up their ships but I needed to upgrade our technology and theirs were the best I'd seen in a while so hand to hand combat it had to be.

Hopefully, I'm able to kill them all before I collapse under the weight of time and fatigue.
