CHAPTER SEVENTY-SEVEN
I had a thing for acting based on impulse and the fact that it worked like eighty percent of the time made me confident enough to always do that.
I had outlined a simple three steps plan for finding out what was going on with the humans and the pods and whatever the heck was happening.
Make Xavier fall in love with me, body, soul and ky’rhan
Make sure I make him choose me enough to stop such horror.
It seemed pretty straightforward except the fact that I didn't know one but about seduction and definitely not a tiny bit of how to seduce a man without it being so obvious. I could ask Theresa but then, what if she flipped on me again as usual?
“I think there are books on it,” Anna suggested as we sat on my bed that Saturday night, plotting how to save our planet.
Along the line of getting crowned and all, I'd forgotten that this was a war between species, we just weren't throwing missiles at each yet. It was subtle and completely one sided.
From Rose’s observation, they were already way ahead of us and that wasn't counting how they were out masters and we, whatever the fuck they wanted
“But how did you discover all of these, Rose?” Anna echoed the question that had been on my mind. It's not like her baby father, who was in our dungeon by the way, left the files containing all the information on the dining table for her to leaf through.
“Now, hear this. When we get pregnant, they have this special room they put us in because they want to make sure their child is as blue as possible. It has everything you'll need for survival and if you're out of it, well, make sure the world is about to end. We only get to see the sun your master needs to go out with you,”
“These aliens are so heartless. Humans need sun!” Anna cried out, echoing my revulsion. If they had simply accepted these XYZs as equally important, no one would be going crazy trying to produce the most blue child. Now they were making humans suffer as a result of it.
“And all of them are acting as though they don't need us. If they kill us all off, who would they use for incubating their worthless seeds?”
“Tessa, reduce your voice! They have very sharp hearing,” Rose warned. She was actually sitting by a recliner I had ordered for her earlier today. By tomorrow, her room would be ready and her newborn would be well taken care of.
“And you know your husband appears out of nowhere whenever he feels like,” Anna added, making me shake my head.
“Don't mind me guys, Rose, go on,”
“Yes, well, mine was quite close to his office. We share a wall. He just didn't know that a tiny part of it was built with plywood or something equally thin so I heard everything from him. All the meetings, phone calls, correspondence. I didn't know how to tell you so you'd be careful,”
“And Xavier is a part of this?” I asked tentatively. I don't know why I was still rooting for him to be a good guy.
“Of course. Who do you think coordinates it?”
My blood ran cold.
“Makes sense. So we need this plan to work very well,” Anna said, her voice small.
“But will it work though? I mean, it's just sex. What if he's not so into me afterwards?” I asked, scared of rejection with every fiber of my being.
“Oh trust me, that plan is the best You've ever had. He'll either hate you passionately or the other one and he is already on his way to being obsessed with you,” Anna said
“When did you become an expert in ky’rhanology?” I asked, smirking at my little sister.
“They teach all of these things in class. They just forget that there's a human among them now,”
“Damn. All that information, right at our fingertips,”
“I doubt they'll actually let her learn any dangerous,”
We sighed together, frustrated at the life we had to live.
“Aren't you worried about having sex with him though?” Rose asked in concern which confused me, wasn't sex generally pleasant? It was the only part of this whole thing I was even looking forward to.
“I mean, it can't be that bad,” I replied, trying so hard to hide the blush creeping up my face
“Sex with aliens isn't romantic, Tessa,” she warned
“Jeez, don't scare her shitless. Besides, Xavier looks kind. He might not be as terrible as your alien was,” Anna said, but the seed of doubt had been down and I began debating if I could find another way to do this.
But there wasn't any. He was the one at the top and no one would tell him what to do. I haven't even seen Corbin since the coronation and something tells me he ordered him to leave.
So the only way to actually affect anything here was Xavier. So if I could convince him to let go and have sex with me, which won't be difficult now that he felt so guilty for Lisa kissing him, I guess that would make it easier to get access to his heart and hopefully, his brain as well.
Besides, I'd been dreaming about having sex with him. Not the peeking show we had the last time but raw, carnal fucking where he shoved his meaty fingers and cock inside me over and over again until I lost the idea of where I ended and where he began.
“So, when do you start?” Anna asked me, her voice small.
“Tonight. I'll ask him to let me sleep in his bedroom,”
“Perfect idea. You don't want to roll over the pregnant woman and all,”
“Exactly. I'mma call it a night though. I have assignments and I heard new, human students were going to be integrated into our school so I have to be in top shape to help them so they don't get Teslimed,” she said with a knowing smile.
“That's nice of you,” I said as she got up from the bed. When she got to the door, I called her. “I'm proud of you, I hope you know that,” I said and she nodded with a deep smile before leaving.
“Look at you being such a grown up,” Roe teased me, making me laugh.
“But this whole experience has really forced us to grow up. It's like we are in our late 20s or something,”
“Girlll!! Look at me, round like an overripe watermelon,” she said, rolling her eyes.
“I have a feeling the baby will come out this month,”
“I want her out today but who am I to decide?”
I laughed at her antics and got up to prepare for my night of seduction or whatever the heck I was gonna do there tonight.
I didn't want to wait any longer so I didn't lose my confidence.
“Hey! I think alcohol is gonna help,” Rose said as if she had found the solution for world hunger.
“I don't know…” I was hesitant.
“Go to the kitchen and take a shot first, then come back before dressing up,” she advised and I nodded reluctantly.
I was almost half naked in my pant shorts and half cut top when I ran out of the room but I only realized it when I ran into Xavier in the hallway.
He opened his mouth to talk but I nearly flew into the elevator on the other side, my cheeks aflame.
I could still hear his chuckle as I ran to the bar, a mission in mind.
The bartender gave me curious looks as I took the shot he'd poured for me.
“Another,” I demanded
“Rough night?” He asked, and it took me a second before I realized what he meant.
“Oh no, my pregnant friend is kind of, you know how they are. I won't be able to sleep otherwise,” I explained, thankful for my quick thinking.
“Oh, sorry about that. Here, this one is stronger,”
“Thank you, you're a lifesaver,” I said as I pinched my nose and threw it in, trying hard to ignore the burn as it slid down my throat.
As I ran back upstairs, the elevator seeming so far away, it occurred to me that we'd actually seen each other naked but without the feelings I was hoping to evoke tonight. Hopefully, if things go the way I plan, I won't be a virgin by tomorrow morning.
