CHAPTER HUNDRED AND NINETY-SEVEN
When I got to escorted to his room, I was dressed in a silk night dress and soaked in nice smelling perfume.
Immediately the queen had left the room I was given, she'd gone and commanded the girls to come get me ready
Thus began four hours of cleaning, washing, prodding and dressing for the warrior prince.
If only they knew I won't be giving him anything but headache.
The moment the door opened, I walked in and ignored the smile on his face.
“Finally decided to come around, kitten, hm?” He said in a gravelly voice as he walked behind me.
I moved away from him quickly before he'd get the wrong ideas.
“Not really, your mother is behind all of this so calm your horses,” I replied with a roll of my eyes as I went to the seat close to the window. “Wow, the view from here is amazing,” I gasped as I saw the entire city sprawled out in front of me.
“That's why I picked this room. It's spacious and allows me watch my people from a distance,” he answered in a tired tone. “Now what am I to do with you, hm?” He asked rhetorically, fiddling with the remote control in his hand.
I had began using the crown of sleeping pills on my head to actually sleep so as to reduce the quantity of the substance.
Also, I was getting quite used to it so it took longer for it to knock me out.
So maybe I won't have to take it off completely.
“You can make use of my mind, General. You don't even need another wife, you already have six and if it's not already obvious, the childbirth situation is from you, not these women you've tied to yourself.”
“You're so stubborn it's nauseating. What makes you think it's my fault? I have very virile seeds!” he snapped angrily, finally showing some emotion.
“Let them go,” I said with a flip of my hands like I wasn't making a crazy suggestion.
“You're crazy,” he said tiredly and went to sit on his bed.
“I'm not. But if you let them go and they fall in love with someone else and get pregnant, you'll get the answer you're looking for. In fact, just start with Lily. I'm sure she'll quickly fall in love with someone less intense than you.”
“I'm not going to do anything of that sort and if you're done ridiculing me, you can leave my room. I'm sure my mother will leave you alone for another couple of weeks,” he said, waving me away.
As If I'll be here that long.
I would have tried escaping in the past week I've been here but I didn't want to try and fail and get his guard all up.
I have just one shot and I'll make sure it's the best.
“Sorry for ruining your mood,” I said as I stood up, my words shocking him.
“It's okay. It was already ruined before you came. I thought you were going to make me feel better but I guess that's delusional.”
“Right.”
I stood in the room for a few seconds and he looked at me in confusion.
“What?”
“I was thinking about the dinner you asked me to go with you, you know, willingly,” I began tentatively.
He sat up.
“You've changed your mind?”
“Not completely.. I'm bored out of my mind here everyday so if you can show me where your library is, I'll happily go on a public date with you,” I explained, my heart beating fast.
“Kitten, women don't read in my world. I'm not even sure you'll see any book you'll be able to understand. It's all science and technology, very little fiction.”
“You know, something men of my planet used to have before Zorvathians ruined everything was a supportive woman behind a successful man. She'll be the brains and he'll be the,” I pointed to his abs and physique and he nodded. “I could be that for you. You'll get your sexual satisfaction everywhere else and I'll prove my worth to you with knowledge of everything. I have a very spongy brain and who knows, I might grow to like you someday.”
“Look, I'll think about it, just go to bed, Tessa,” he said and rolled over to the other side of the bed.
In that moment, I thought about killing him.
It'll be fast and quick and nobody would know anything until I was already on the tarmac making a run for it.
But I can't fly a plane, I don't know if that's the only remote available and If I kill their precious prince, I better make sure I escape this place or I'll be better off dead.
They nearly worshiped the Drak.
So I turned around and left, roughing up my hair a bit to make it seem like something happened.
I walked out of the corridor and two guards escorted me to my room.
Before I took off everything, a knock came to my door, making me wear to again.
“Come in,” I called in response and Lily came in with one of the other wives I met.
Her name was Aran from another alien planet. She had a square face and even though we shared the same skin color, our similarities ended there. She has an antenna on her head and her nose was just one nostril instead of two. She has huge, bulging eyes and three arms.
With all of her differences, she still looked beautiful.
Although she was permanently sad each time I saw her.
“How do you do it?” Aran asked in a small voice as she came to sit on the bed.
“Do what?” I asked in confusion as I took off my earrings and head wrap.
“Come on, Tee, we're friends right?” Lily added, confusing me more. “We know you're not having sex with him. Nobody comes out of there the same night after having sex with the General. He's a monster,” she said, fear smudging her eyes.
“Wait, what do you mean? He's forcing you?”
“No! Not like that. I mean, I do like some parts of it but the rest, it's as though he's possessed by a parawan and he just keeps going at it until he cums,” Aran explains, and I had to sit down.
“So we know you are definitely not going all the way with him or you have a way to go about it?” Lily asked, and I took a deep breath before answering.
