CHAPTER TWENTY
I jerked awake, my body hurting me immediately from the cramped position as well as the bulky and buff alien Prince who still dozed off on my laps.
I looked up and my eyes met Theresa's and she had to use her hand to stifle the giggle that escaped her throat.
I like her, she's so carefree and not as condescending as her species.
I smiled back and then turned to look at Corbin, thinking he was still asleep, only he wasn't and had probably caught me and Theresa acting like little kids about his cousin.
He was smiling and I breathed a sigh of relief that he survived the ordeal
“Get the doctor and be quiet about it, “ I whispered to Bernard and he nodded, gently opening the door and walking out.
“I've never known him to be a deep sleeper. What did you give my cousin, Tessa?” Corbin quizzed me in an accusatory tone but his smile gave away his playful intentions.
“I didn't do anything, now shush. No need to wake him up,” I shushed him, a shy smile on my face.
I couldn't stop myself from running my fingers through his silky hair, my body feeling wired and strung.
I remembered one of the novels I saw in my Dad's secret library and it seemed innocent at first with two lovers having a crazy journey. But somehow, the story begins to go into wild details and I found myself putting my hands in my panties, right in the center as the novel directed and I found it wet. I followed the characters, rubbing myself, the pleasure unlike anything I've ever felt until I began to feel light, my mind pressured and my legs quivering. That was the first of many orgasms.
As Xavier burrowed deep in my lap, his pointy ears grazing my pussy, albeit unintentionally on his part, I had that insane urge to touch myself or worse, have him do it. I guess it'll be more explosive.
Saving me from my rancid thoughts, the doctor knocked on the door, peering in before coming in as Xavier quickly woke.
“Fruitful Day your Majesty. How do you feel, Master Corbin?” The doctor asks as Xavier had refused to answer his zealous greeting, his face as grumpy as ever. The alien has more of a resting bitch's face than actual bitch.
That sort of brought my mind out of the perilous gutter it was in earlier on.
I got up from the bed and walked to the seats Bernard had arranged after clearing the bed where they spent the night.
We watched the doctor remove the covering on him and he was down to his shorts. Before I could start ogling a sick man, Xavier spoke to the doctor.
“Take hers off as well and give her some pain killers,”
The shock on the man's face was comical
“Sir?”
“You lost your hearing? Take off the sling on my wife's arm and get her some pain killers!” He shouted, his voice quite loud.
At least, the doctor can't use the excuse of not hearing clearly anymore but then he switches to confusion.
“Wife? How _” his mouth gasped dramatically before he recovered himself and nodded rapidly.
I could still feel the shocks in his frame as he unwrapped the cast from my arm and I was finally able to use it without feeling that stupid ache.
“I'm just gonna go –” he muttered again, his frame vibrating a little bit as he ran out like ants were inside his pants.
I shook my head in amusement, lifting my arm up and down to be sure it was properly healed. This speed of healing would be so nice if humans had access to it.
Normally, I'd have that cast on for two weeks. Brendan had to have his for longer when he fell from trying to climb the uncompleted building next to ours because my mom had a fight with the nurse before they attended to him. She did a shabby job, well more shabby than usual and it had to be recast before it healed. My brother stopped climbing things afterwards
We all stepped outside so Corbin could dress up as it was considered an intimate act to watch an alien dress up.
The doctor came back as we waited, he handed over the drugs to me but Theresa collected it from him before I got the chance.
“Dude, get yourself in check. She's a human, and so fucking what? You are literally half human as well and yet you are given the chance to be this important so stop making the rest of us look bad!” She snapped at him, shocking us all
She was usually timid and shy except when she was around me and talking to him like that, my respect for her grew in multiple folds.
“I'm really sorry, your majesty. Please forgive me,” he said, finally looking me in the eye since we crossed paths.
“It's okay. Can we go now?”
“Yes, sure. Master Corbin's drugs are inside as well. Thank you,” he bowed unnecessarily and went to the end of that path into … an elevator?
Why then did Xavier make us walk a thousand miles to get here last night?
I was already worried about how Corbin was going to make the journey
At that thought, he gently opened the door, his face a little bit dull but his crumpled white T-shirt made him look like a Vogue magazine model in that way that their eyes always appeared droopy. I guess that was their definition of cool. I always had a problem with it until Corbin exemplified it.
To my surprise, Xavier himself held his arm and let Corbin rely on him as we walked to the elevator, Bernard and Conrad carrying their bags and the suitcase Xavier went to work with.
We got to the lobby on the other side and thankfully, it was close to where their cars were packed.
Conrad and Bernad went back home with the car we came in but immediately Xavier helped Corbin get into the backseat, he opened the front door for me.
The man nearly gave me a whiplash. In as much as he is not declaring his undying love for me, he's still doing things that even though they seem little and inconsequential, are sweet.
We drove home and I watched as he helped Corbin upstairs to his room. The man never ceased to amaze me.
I went upstairs to get cleaned up and I came down for breakfast but Xavier was waiting for me with that cursed contract in hand.
I knew it by the bold prints that read Xavier Morgan and mine under it. It was supposed to be a good morning but here he was right about to ruin it.
“Here, you need to sign this immediately, whichever choice you are interested in.” He grumbled, handing it over to me as I hesitantly took the contract from him.
“Couldn't it wait till after breakfast? Besides, we weren't done talking about it before you nearly killed me in your alien form,” I replied and his face darkened.
I took a step back.
“Theresa, bring her breakfast to my room,” he commanded and grabbed my hands, taking me upstairs.
“Could you slow down? I'm not ready to wear another cast,” I protested which made him halt immediately.
He opened his mouth and I thought he was going to apologize but hey, one can only dream, right?
What he does is much more shocking.
He picked me up from the ground and I didn't have a choice than to hold his neck, my nose inhaling his cologne.
This man didn't know what he did to my body and I hated it more than anything. I wished I could turn it off but I wished he would do something to make my body stop reacting to everything he did.
He opened the door with his tail and I couldn't help the giggle that escaped from me at the sight of it. It was such a practical thing to do yet it was quite hilarious.
The Prince didn't react at all, instead he dropped me on the bed and went to the desk that faced the window and grabbed a pen.
“Here. Be quick alright?” He stood over me, arms stretched with the pen towards me.
“No.” I stated and handed back the contract to him.
“What do you mean no? You know I don't even have to do this, right? I could just force you down that damn altar and you won't dare say no in front of the whole world. I'm simply trying to make the decision easier for you!”
“But you won't. Beneath all of that bravado, you're human somehow. Your soul won't let you do it,” I said. I was totally bullshiting but he didn't need to know that. I was panicking inside regardless of the tough exterior I portrayed. The man could kill me with a snap of his finger but here I was, talking back with confidence.
Before he could probably finish me off, Theresa knocked on the door and he went to open it.
He grabbed the food from her and one could see the anger in her face. She waved at me before closing the door, sealing my fate.
“Look, you have to sign this immediately, okay? I'm not taking no for an answer. In fact, if you don't, I'll order your father to be recruited into the army,” he threatened and my stomach grumbled, coinciding with the shock that grabbed my mind.
