EPILOGUE
**XAVIER'S POV**
Three weeks later, our Princess was born, completely ky'rhan. I can't even explain the science of that but her birth sent a wave of excitement around the planet.
As she grew, as fast as her brother, they were the favorite people in Zorvath, Taysa more than Xander who was fond of running into trouble.
He didn't listen to anyone but his mother, and I didn't mind at all; she knew exactly how to handle him.
Although when she's on her monthly flow, it's always chaos. He's upset, she's upset, the entire house is terrified.
But it all ends in four days and we're back to happy moments again.
The Test had ended the calls for another King, one indigenous to the planet as I'd proven to them that I was one of them but it didn't end the tussle between humans and ky'rhans.
The first two years, we fought hard to make sure they understood I was also a human, hence why I'd failed the first part of the test. I was never going to let them hurt my people.
So it was a bit of a civil war, considering I turned the soldiers against the people, and they were forced to stop enslaving humans and giving them opportunities at work and in society.
Then we went on that tour, and the camera was trained in Tessa, showing how beautiful her humanity was, and it sort of normalized the thought in their minds.
We pulled back the soldiers after that but still kept the hotlines active.
We also gave the humans lands and grants for businesses so they didn't have to rely on the mercy of ky'rhans to thrive. I'd say over the years, the differences didn't disappear, but they unified, giving birth together, and dare I say, they began to love each other.
Consolidating my position for the future wasn't difficult anymore after laying the foundation for growth and with my generals working really hard with me, the planet was set in motion for greatness.
That didn't mean the journey was perfect and smooth.
Once internal enemies were cleared, including killing the former Kings for trying, again, to kill my wife, it was the external ones we faced.
No one could stomach the idea that small, green Zorvath was now powerful and technologically advanced.
Nor could the superior state of our defense system leave them at ease.
The fact that misogynistic practices were taboo on my planet was also a cause for alarm.
Hence, it took them five years to stop trying to attack us.
In those years, my children didn't get to spend much time with me because I was always up there, repairing what was broken.
Tessa hated it so much, and the final one that finally sent home the message, she'd sent off the kids and dragged me up there, and in five minutes, we'd crushed the entire army sent against us.
After that, peace returned.
In this period of peace, we built our planet, and humans and ky'rhan alike contributed to this.
It was my greatest achievement and I was grateful for the woman I had with me on this journey.
I definitely couldn't wait for my son to grow up so we can hand over to him and tour around our allied planets.
**TESSA'S POV**
Xavier was and is still the best thing that has ever happened to me but right next to him were my children and the opportunity to lead this great planet.
I still couldn't connect that little girl back on earth that hated everything the ky'rhans represented with this one who has helped change their perspective and mine.
In hindsight, I was always scared of losing myself and becoming an extension of him without control of my life.
Turns out I am an extension of him, only he is an extension of me, too, and it's the best feeling ever.
We're raising the most beautiful kids together and I would never have it any other way.
But my personal story aside, I'm also happy for my girls: Rose, Lisbeth, Aran, and Lily.
Rose became a doctor after studying for gout years under the new and advanced medical school supervised by Doctor Memphis. But the crazy part of it was, when they were in the same proximity, both of them controlled their desires for each other but the first year away from the enclosed space they once shared, Memphis was in my house, begging me to talk to Roe for him.
He wanted to take her on a date but she was upset it took him this long to notice her.
Anyways, they're married now with a boy who wouldn't let Taysa breathe a few feet away from him. It pisses Xander off so much but I've told him to suck it, excuse my language.
Lisbeth said she doesn't want to ever get married, and Trent is okay with it; he's okay with whatever she wants, really; he just wants to be with the love of his life, and it makes me so happy that she's finally with a man who genuinely loves her.
Aran found out she's a lesbian, who could have thought?
But as ky'rhan men are terrified about their gayness, the women seem to have embraced it long ago, and Aran found someone who treats her like a princess. So when she's back from defending the planet with the other soldiers, she has the prettiest ky'rhan girl I've ever seen, loving her to bits.
Lily, however, swore off romance.
Until our mystery friend returned.
I cried uncomfortably the day she left with him back to her home planet but she promised to come back someday.
Currently, I go to Earth to see my former home and surprise my family, and it's the most wholesome experience.
Also, it opened the kid's eyes to the beauty of the Earth and a world without superpowers and teleportation.
With my father reelected for the second five-year term, it also gave us a chance to build a relationship between the two planets.
We didn't just share a family together; we also shared technology, information, and ideas. We also have a representative from Earth coming for interplanetary meetings.
But before all of that, we had set up proper security against alien invasion; with the immense amount of raw materials on earth, everyone had their eyes on it.
Xavier nearly fought with the council in one of the meetings at his refusal to offer up the planet for exploitation considering the Zorvathians had done the same.
But they weren't ever going to leave if they actually came down to earth so that was a big no.
Also, Xavier was part human, too, so why would he let those scavengers loose on his people?
But under all of these great achievements and successes that we basked in, I always heard and ignored a voice inside me that screamed at me to be more.
It insisted this journey was simply a preparation, not the destination.
But I was happy for once in my life, why disrupt it?
**TWENTY YEARS LATER**
**THIRD PERSON POV**
The sky was awash with wild colors, not from the firelight of celebration but of the newly upgraded planet of Zorvath defending itself from attacks from other planets.
Some people deemed them a threat to their supremacy and, thus, needed them back on their knees to be exploited and made fun of.
And no, the recent leaders weren't chasing after universal dominance even though they stood a good chance of conquering hundreds of planets.
But they did free many slave planets, putting a representative there until the indigene selected a leader of their own choosing.
To an onlooker, that was in itself reason enough for them to be wiped out, they were disturbing other people's progress.
But a smart planet would ally with them because there was strength in Zorvath.
To prove this point, the war happening was a result of an internal infiltration of the defense academy by these aliens. Zorvath had opened its arms to all and sundry to learn and grow from its military prowess but in exchange for their knowledge, they were betrayed.
As the soldiers defended their planet, the leaders were at work, returning the barriers back to their former state
And just when it looked like the soldiers on the ground were fighting a losing battle, millions of aliens trooped in to defend Zorvath.
The war ended pretty quickly after that.

Three weeks later, the Prince of Zorvath had taken it upon himself to conquer planets, and this time, he wasn't being peaceful about it.
After all, his sister was kidnapped and tortured, and whenever Prince Xander was offended, whoever was on the other side of the knife would experience so much pain he'd beg to die.
Thus began the journey of two people: Xander, trying to conquer the world, and Tessa, his mother, trying to tame him.
That didn't work; it used to be before Taysa was kidnapped.
Now, all he heard in his head were the loud clangs of battle and the desire for bloodshed.
That was until he met Amira.
Right after he killed her father, that is.
