CHAPTER HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-ONE
We'd never tried unfiltered Nexarion on any other species before until Fanny gave it to Tessa so I was hoping for a more dastardly effect.
We'd broken nails, bones, teeth, and one Drak was devoid of one eye now, yet they refused to tell us why they'd attacked us or how they found our location.
Space was vast, and a thousand spaceships could be flying in one direction without meeting each other, yet they were able to find us.
Also, it wasn't some solo trip, this was an army. We'd destroyed a unit of their soldiers and burnt warships so they were definitely coming with a direct intention.
“Funny thing is, you think I'll get angry, especially with the crap coming out of your mouth, and kill you,” I drawled, pouring the liquid all over their bodies. “But if you really want to die, the best bet is for you to tell me the truth. If not, I'll spend the next few months figuring out everything that makes you ache, wince, or cry and make sure you exist only in the context of pain,” I informed them with a strained smile.
Already, the liquid was already permeating their blood vessels as they were already cut open in different places.
Before Zyx locked them up, he'd removed their amour and their looks were a bit weird. Tiny, florescent blue scales that went all the way to their eyes, leaving only their bald head free of round scales.
So as we tortured them, I broke most of them, leaving their deep flesh raw and open.
The unfiltered Nexarion was already giving the one that had spat at us a run for his money, his eyes transfixed to a spot on the table.
He looked like he'd seen a ghost.
“Ahh!” The most stoic one of the three screamed, taking my attention away from the rest.
He'd been resistant to all forms of torture, making me confused as to his reaction.
I guess his mind was the only part of him that could respond to pain and I decided to make use of this weakness.
I tapped his shoulder, waking him up from wherever the opium had taken him to and he opened his eyes, the organ blood red.
“I can make it all go away,” I said calmly, rubbing into the wound where the liquid had seeped into and massaged it deeper, the cracks of his scales biting into my fingers. “But you have to tell me everything,” I finished, looking at his terrified eyes.
“It's… it's… ahhh!” He screamed suddenly in pain and I knew that wasn't from his mind. I peered closer and noticed the other Draks were hurting him, probably scared of him spilling their secrets.
I looked at the vile one on the left and used my telekinetic powers to snap his neck.
He wasn't dead yet but he'll be soon. Whatever this one said, the other two would explain more deeply; I just needed them quiet.
Before I could put the third guy out of commission too, the weak link I was preparing for started screaming again; he'd closed his eyes.
“He shouldn't have blinked,” Lyra-en chuckled, her hatred of them obvious.
I quickly killed off the other guy with a heavy dose of electric thunderbolts before tapping him to snap back to reality.
I didn't know what he was seeing in there but I knew for a fact it was horrendous because the same man who was showing us the true definition of tough skin and stubbornness was suddenly crying.
“Please make it stop! Please!” He begged, grabbing my hand that was on the table in front of him. “You have to make it stop, they're coming for me! Pleaseeee!”
“What is your name, Drak?”
“Ornus,” he replied quickly, it was obvious he'd do anything to escape his mental punishment.
“Ornus, I need to know everything about this operation, from the why to the who and how. Start talking,” I commanded and extracted my hand from his clutch.

Two horrendous hours later, I'd figured out everything.
Zorvath wasn't some wasteland with a diminishing government that only invested in the military.
Yes, the environment was going to shit, but they were smarter, stronger, and more technologically advanced than we'd predicted.
“Get the cameras in each place ready, I want to address the ship,” I instructed Kaid as I walked into the Command room.
This attack by these Draks was definitely a blessing in disguise because if I'd run in blindly without having the information I have now, I would have been killed a few minutes after contact.
The cameras were being set up as I got on my special seat in the middle of the command room. I always had the biggest seat in every room I was in. There were few vanities I indulged in; all my cars were taking up a lot of space in the ship, and I hoped there'd be good roads to enjoy them where we were headed.
That is if we actually survived the war to claim it.
From what I'd learned so far, there were two kings, one powerful and strict, the other his twin.
Ky’rhans didn't do twins, it’s always going to be a power tussle in the womb until one or everyone in the scenario dies, including the mother; ky’rhan or not.
So for one to actually survive, they'd have to be subservient to the other, weak.
And from Ornus’s accounts, he was just a happy child with a crown on his head so we only had one incredibly power obsessed ky’rhan to deal with.
They'd been keeping track of the ship. My father told me it was made with two others and now that I thought about it, it made sense that it would still be trackable from the planet where it was created.
This took away the secret weapon I'd been hoping on; stealth.
Seeing how they were able to send a full squad of Drakkonian soldiers to attack us, pinpointing our direct location, it made sense that they'd actually see when we were close by, and who knows how powerful their military power is?
I'm hoping it's not much considering they send someone else to do their dirty job but this new information brought things into clear view.
Finally, Zyx informed me that the cameras were ready, and I stood up, ready to address my people.
