CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE
The voice was definitely masculine, angry and scary as shit.
“Stop!” I screamed immediately, rushing over to Aisen and dragging us back down on fear.
He lost control of the jet, making Xavier rush over, pushing him aside.
“These mortals never cease to amaze me,” the voice laughed while we struggled to save ourselves. “Why create something they have very little control of?”
‘If he wasn't trying to scare the shit out of us, we would have control of it!’ I thought to myself angrily as I held unto a chair tightly as Xavier finally righted the track of the jet.
“I seem to be out of it today, I'm hearing voices. I have to finish this so I can leave here,” it said and I could literally see the second it began to pull up more trees from the ground.
“Stop!” I screamed in my head, loud enough that it must be obvious to him that this was happening.
“I am hearing voices,” he said in shock.
“Yes and I'm begging you to not ruin our planet. The idiot that attacked you isn't even from here, he's just going around destroying shit with his stupid,” I grumbled, getting angry at everything, especially Aisen.
“Daughter of the Cosmos? You came back as promised!” It shouted in glee and immediately, a dark form appeared in the jet, making everyone except Xavier scream.
Yes, I screamed too because he looked like a huge moss of blackness until it started changing form.
“Sorry, I know you don't remember me but we used to terrify people with this form of mine and that was why I kept it, hoping you'd come back,” he said as he kept shedding it, gradually bringing out a beautiful, fairy form.
He was muscular, with leaves for hair and a few tiny branches were all over his naked body.
“I.. I don't understand,” I whispered out loud but a strange language came out of my mouth
“Oh they got you good,” he said with a small smile, “wiping out your memory before putting you in a new body. She's cute though.”
I felt a hand snake around my waist and I looked to see Xavier holding me.
“Hi,” he said in the common language, “I'm Xavier, her husband,” he introduced himself, extending his hand for a handshake with a smile.
Way to be jealous, Xavier, even in front of a very powerful alien that claims to know me from another world.
He looked at Xavier for five seconds, the longest five seconds ever by the way with all the tension in the jet before the frown on his face turned into smile.
Then he hugged me, an awkward one considering Xavier’s hand was permanently attached to my waist.
“Wow, you finally found him,” he said to me after letting go, smiling deeply at me.
“I'm so confused,” I whispered.
“I understand, things are not going to make sense for the next hundred years or so but you're destined for great things Venus, just always have your head up and stay away from people like this fool,” he said, hitting Aisen on the head.
“Wait, you're leaving?”
“What's the point of staying when you don't remember me? When you do, you'll know where to find me, for now, enjoy this life. It's a gift,” he said, rubbing my cheek with a deep emotion in his eyes.
“So.. does that mean you're not gonna turn this planet into a forest like you turned ours into a big ocean?” Lily asked from the back, her voice small.
He looked at her and was star struck for a moment, like he'd seen a ghost.
“I won't hurt your planet, it holds something dear to my heart,” he replied and somehow I knew he wasn't talking about me.
“I'm really grateful for that. I'm sorry that I don't remember you, hopefully my memories return soon, I'll like to see you more often,” I told him.
“Well, you just might get the last part of your wishes, I just have to go take care of something, he replied and disappeared.
The jet stopped spinning and began diving down while we all tried to collect our thoughts.
“Is it just me or did that tree man just fall in love with Lily?” Aran asked, holding tightly to the seat belt
“Don't be ridiculous, why would he?” Lily retorted.
“You didn't feel anything at all? The first time I saw Xavier, I hated his entire existence but something inside of me was screaming at me to.. I don't know just do something with him, I can't explain it,” I said to her, remembering that day.
I didn't even realize that feeling and what it meant until months later because I was reeling from the feeling of nearly getting raped and then murdered because I hurt the XYZ that tried to do it.
But it was as obvious as anything, no matter how much Corbin tried to look like a better option while Xavier showed me his worst parts, I always moved in his direction.
“Oh so you liked me from that day hm?” Xavier smirked, his smile infectious.
“Don't be ridiculous, I've always hated your guts, it's the fact that we're soulmates. Besides, let Lily talk, she's had enough time to reflect,” I replied, patting his chest lovingly.
I looked at Lily and she looked like she just tasted chocolate cake for the first time.
“There is something, I just can't put my hand on it and I really don't want to. He's a stranger, Tessy and he ruined my planet. I have no business with him,” she finished with a frown.
But deep down, I could feel the universe creating their story.
They'd be so powerful and strong together, just like Xavier and I. Only they didn't have to rely on each other like we did.
Hopefully he does come back so he can clear this whole thing up in my head. I was more than confused.
As we landed back down, a feeling of relief enveloped me.
It was obvious that the universe had our interest at heart and no matter what happened, we'll always find a way around it.
As we walked into the house, it was to Zyx and all the other generals.
